You step out and in less than 60 seconds, you're inside the Haram. Amazing. I have to point out the service levels at this hotel. Seriously, every single staff member was amazing. No request was too much for them. From extending our stay, late check out, if they could do it, they did. Absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again and again for sure."

The Millennium Al Aqeeq Hotel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Millennium Al Aqeeq Hotel offers a pleasant stay in Medina for those traveling for business or leisure. With Madinah Station just 14km away and Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport only 20km away, transportation is very convenient. Keeping busy is easy, with Clock Roundabout, Prophet's Mosque Library. مكتبة المسجد النبوي and Mount Uhad all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Medina hotel features parking on site. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, our guests have told us that this location is excellent.

"The Pros: Unmatched Location & Heartwarming Service Dream Location for Female Pilgrims: The absolute biggest selling point. It is less than a 3 to 4-minute walk to the women’s prayer area, with Gates 329 and 330 being the absolute closest. Convenient Amenities Nearby: The Nusuk Center is right next door, and there is a children’s nursery within a 10-minute walk, making it incredibly convenient for families. Outstanding Housekeeping & Concierge: The service from the ground staff is exceptional. The Bangladeshi staff members are incredibly kind, sweet, and genuinely wonderful people who elevate the stay. Great Breakfast Experience: The breakfast team does a fantastic job. The live omelet station and the pancake/waffle station are definitive highlights. Abundant Dining Options: You are completely spoiled for choice. The hotel is literally opposite Hardee's, KFC, and Karak Express. Al Tazaj is nearby, alongside great cafes like Brew 92 for high-quality coffee. The Cons: Dated Infrastructure & Front Desk Friction Aging & Faulty Bathrooms: While the hotel looks grand from the outside, the interior infrastructure is noticeably old. Even after changing rooms twice, the bathrooms had major design and maintenance issues: Severe water leakage across the entire floor every time you shower (whether in a bathtub or regular shower setup), resulting in a constantly wet room. Cramped layout where the commode is practically at the brink of the bathroom door, leaving almost no space. Visible mold in the toilets. Unhelpful Reception Staff: The front desk team lacks friendliness and clear communication. Late Check-Out Hassles: Despite booking a guaranteed 6:00 PM late check-out via Trip.com, the hotel refused to fully honor it. It required tedious coordination with 3-4 different staff members just to get a slight extension past the standard 12:00 PM slot. Final Thoughts While Millennium hotels are generally convenient for airport access, the internal wear-and-tear here is tough to ignore. It remains a solid option solely for its proximity to the Holy Mosque, but at this premium price point, you can likely find newer, better-maintained properties in Madinah."

"If you arrive before check-in time, you can leave your luggage and go pray. We were made to wait a few hours by reception for an early check-in, but then the hotel owner himself came, saw us dozing off in the lobby, tired, and sternly warned reception, getting us our room immediately. The hotel owner even pointed out his office, saying to come to him if we had any problems. The rooms are clean and nice, and the beds are spacious, making it suitable for families. Breakfast is sufficient and filling. We would choose this hotel again."

This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The hotel was difficult to reach directly using the contact details provided in the hotel's information. However, I was able to request approval for my stay through Trip.com's chat service. Upon check-in, there was an issue with the booking system for OTA reservations, which caused a significant delay in getting our room. The facilities were quite basic; they only provided paper cups in the room and refills were by request. We booked a triple room but received a room with four beds, making it very cramped. On the upside, the location is excellent, very close to Gate 307 of the Nabawi Mosque courtyard. Because of this fantastic location, I believe I would book this hotel again if I return for Umrah. I hope they can improve their facilities and services in the future."

"Stayed here for 4 days and had a solid experience. The location is the biggest win—it’s extremely close to the Prophet's Mosque, which made attending prayers very easy and saved a lot of time. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable enough for a good night's rest after a long day. I found the staff to be helpful and the check-in process was relatively smooth. Breakfast had a decent variety of options to start the day. One thing to note is that the elevators can get quite busy during prayer times, so you’ll want to head down a bit early. Overall, it’s a reliable choice if you want convenience and a comfortable stay in Medina."

Visiting AlUla during the off-season offers incredible value for money. Let's start with the weather, which is often a major concern. In July, temperatures range from 24-42 degrees Celsius. Mornings and evenings are surprisingly cool, especially when compared to Riyadh's 35-46 degrees during the same period. It's completely feasible to explore by avoiding the midday heat. Hotel prices in July are incredibly attractive, and there are very few tourists, mostly Arabs. Because there are so few people, the service is exceptionally quick. Shuttles arrive within 5-10 minutes. Only one of the three restaurants was open, offering both Arabic and Thai cuisine. While the Michelin-level prices aren't cheap, the food and service are excellent. The breakfast, in particular, is worth mentioning. It's à la carte, and the quality is superb. You could order the entire menu twice over! What's more, they even asked if I wanted a takeaway when I left. On the first day, I took away bread and fruit, and on the second, bread and Coke. A can of Coke costs 30 SAR in the room, and they packed me three cans along with a complimentary bottle of water! Since I didn't rent a car, I didn't visit any surrounding attractions, but the hotel grounds themselves are beautiful. In the evenings, you can enjoy a bonfire and stargaze. There's even a stargazing activity where a Kenyan guide shows you the moon through a telescope and helps you locate the Big Dipper to orient yourself. All the hotel staff are incredibly nice. They clean the room in the morning and then come back in the evening to prepare it for bedtime, which is a very thoughtful touch. Check-out was instant as I had no extra charges. I used the hotel's car service to the airport, and while it was twice the price of a taxi, the service was truly excellent. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I'm extremely satisfied!

Makarem Burj Al Madinah

My recent stay at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was truly remarkable, and it is a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the holy city. From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded expectations in every possible way. One of the hotel’s greatest advantages is its excellent location, just a short and convenient walk from the blessed Masjid Al Nabawi. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to attend prayers, especially Fajr and late-night prayers, without the stress of transportation or long walking distances. The staff at Makarem Burj Al Madinah deserve special recognition. Every team member I encountered was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk staff handled check-in smoothly and professionally, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Equally impressive was the cleaning team, who maintained the rooms and public areas to an exceptionally high standard. Their attention to detail was evident daily, and their polite and friendly manner made the stay even more comfortable. As the hotel is only around six months old, everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms, corridors, and common areas are spotless, well maintained, and beautifully finished. There is a noticeable sense of cleanliness throughout the property, complemented by a pleasant and refreshing fragrance that greets you as soon as you enter. This consistent cleanliness and inviting atmosphere contribute greatly to a sense of peace and relaxation after long hours spent at the Haram. Another excellent feature of the hotel is the 24-hour gym, which is thoughtfully segregated for men and women. This allows guests to exercise comfortably and privately at any time of day or night. The gym is modern, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to maintain a fitness routine even while traveling. Having round-the-clock access is especially convenient for guests with busy schedules centered around prayer times. Breakfast at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was another highlight of the stay. The breakfast spread is generous, varied, and well organized, offering a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes. From fresh and hot options to lighter choices, everything was prepared to a high standard. The dining area is clean and pleasant, and the breakfast staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to the day. Overall, Makarem Burj Al Madinah delivers an outstanding hospitality experience. Its close proximity to Masjid Al Nabawi, combined with its new and pristine condition, friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, well-designed gym facilities, and high-quality breakfast, make it an ideal choice for visitors to Madinah. I would gladly stay here again so long as prices remain reasonable God willing and confidently recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and quality during their visit to this sacred city.

This hotel is very suitable for those who want to stay on the green dome side, only 5 minutes walk. And the hotel is right next to saffiya museum and the new restaurants, so many good ones to choose from. The hotel is directly connected to a mall, and cheap pakistani food is also available, and lots of clothes shops. So everything is nearby. Only ladies prayer area is further away, but I didn't mind walking.

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

Location is perfect. Short walk to the Mosque and easy to organise walking to all the shops. Staff are exceptional, always looking to enhance your experience. Breakfast was good with a good selection but did lack variety day in day out. Staff here are very good and are always willing to help. Downside would be the coffee machines that never seemed to be working correctly. We had a couple of maintenance issues, but staff were sent promptly and most were rectified in a good time. A tip would ask for your room to face the mall, the otherside had a lot of traffic noise which was constant.
