I stayed at this airport hotel near Sabiha Gökçen for an expensive pric. While the location is convenient and the room was generally clean, there were several operational issues that should be addressed. Upon check-in, the shower pipe in my room was faulty. The staff promptly arranged for a technician, which I appreciate. However, this indicates that rooms may not be thoroughly checked before guest arrival. A simple pre-check process could prevent such inconvenience. There were also no facial tissues provided in either the room or bathroom. This is a very basic amenity that most travelers expect, particularly at this price level. In addition, the hotel does not offer a coin laundry facility. For an airport hotel that likely serves transit guests, this would be a highly practical addition. The staff were responsive when contacted, and I appreciated the availability of slippers in the room. However, improving basic quality control and ensuring essential amenities are consistently provided would significantly enhance the guest experience. I hope this feedback is helpful for future improvements.

When I booked this hotel, it was advertised as a four-star property on the screen. However, upon closer inspection and after checking in, I realized it's actually a three-star hotel, and the price should not have been so high. I believe your hotel policy might be rating hotels without reviewing their official tourism ministry certifications. There's a big mistake here that needs to be corrected. The star rating on your platform should match the official hotel star rating. You are misleading people into thinking they are booking a four-star hotel when they end up staying in a three-star one. This causes embarrassment and wasted money and time for guests. Star ratings are important; whether a hotel is three or four stars matters to me and to the hotel itself. When I make a purchase, especially on your site, I specifically look at the star rating and reviews. Also, the room I got was tiny, like a small box.

Overall, the hotel made a rather pleasant impression. The positives: + nice room design + climate control + wifi was fine + the single bed was wide enough and comfortable + nice staff + you can get right to the hotel by bus H-6, the ride takes 25-30 minutes from the airport One huge downside: - There was rust and leakage under the sink in the bathroom. Before I noticed it, it had made a towel and a toilet paper roll (that were below it) completely wet.

The hotel is in a great location. The view of the Bosphorus from the restaurant is simply stunning. The room itself had a side view—a view of the wall of the neighboring building and a bit of the Bosphorus. That's what a partial sea view is. Breakfast wasn't a buffet—it was scrambled eggs and lots of meze plates, but mostly sweet—honey, boiled meats, butter… Overall, it was a good impression. However, the hotel felt a bit rundown.

Room was very nice for a stop over hotel. I didn't need cash for my 24 hour stay as I could Uber and the staff at hotel take orders via credit card for delivery from a local restaurant and there is also a vending machine that takes card in the lobby. Uber was £12 from the airport and took 20 minutes (had more luck booking one from the airport metro station than the terminal). If you factor the transfer price in, it's still a good deal as I got the stay for £23 with Trip.com

I had a great stay at Pianoforte by Febor Hotels & Spa in Istanbul! 🕌 The hotel has a modern, elegant design and feels very comfortable from the moment you arrive. My room was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed — fresh towels, good Wi-Fi, and a cozy bed with a nice city view. The reception staff were excellent, always polite and ready to help with anything — from directions to arranging transportation. Their warm attitude made the stay even more enjoyable. 🙌 The spa facilities were definitely a highlight — I loved the Turkish bath and sauna, which were spotless and relaxing after a long day exploring the city. 🧖♀️✨ The location in Fatih is great for sightseeing, with easy access to the metro and tram. Breakfast was simple but fresh — a nice start to the day.

GGuest UserHampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu: Genuine Smiles, Seamless Comfort, and Turkish Warmth After countless nights spent in hotels around the world, it takes something special for a property to truly stand out. My recent stay at the Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu did just that; not through extravagance or grand gestures, but through authentic hospitality and effortless comfort. This is the kind of place that quietly wins you over, one thoughtful interaction at a time. The Perfect Blend of Ease and Energy Location & Setting Zeytinburnu might not be the first name that comes to mind when travelers think of Istanbul, yet this area surprised me. It’s strategically positioned close enough to reach Sultanahmet and Taksim with ease, yet far enough to escape the tourist crowds. The hotel itself feels like an oasis of calm within the city’s heartbeat. Step outside, and you’re minutes from transportation links, local eateries, and the Marmara coastline. Design & Comfort The moment you step into your room, you sense Hilton’s signature attention to detail—simple, modern, and purposeful. My room was bright, immaculate, and well-designed for both rest and work. The bed offered the kind of support that makes long travel days melt away, and everything, from lighting to Wi-Fi, worked exactly as it should. Small touches, like perfectly laundered linens and crisp air quality, added a layer of comfort that felt quietly luxurious. Hospitality That Feels Personal While the property itself is well-maintained, what truly makes this hotel memorable are the people behind the front desk. Fatih Tuna and Ömer are two names I won’t forget anytime soon. Their professionalism is effortless, and their kindness feels completely natural; no rehearsed smiles, no scripted greetings. Whether it was assisting with directions, offering local dining suggestions, or simply greeting guests with warmth that instantly puts you at ease, both Fatih and Ömer demonstrated a level of hospitality that’s rare even among top-tier hotels. They are the kind of hosts who remind you that genuine service can transform an ordinary stay into a meaningful experience. It’s no exaggeration to say that they embody the best of Turkish warmth; courteous, humorous, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast & Shared Spaces Breakfast each morning felt more like a pleasant ritual than a hotel buffet. The spread was abundant and fresh, featuring local cheeses, eggs, fruit, pastries, and strong Turkish tea that was hard to resist. Staff managed the flow smoothly, keeping everything replenished while maintaining the sense of calm that regular travelers quietly crave. The public areas, especially the lobby, were clean, cozy, and inviting. Whether grabbing a quick coffee, catching up on emails, or chatting with staff, the space encouraged connection rather than mere transit. Small Note The only subtle reminder that you’re still in a lively city comes from occasional distant traffic or early-morning sounds from outside. It’s faint and fleeting, more of a whisper than a disturbance. For light sleepers, a higher floor or a room facing inward may be ideal. Lasting Impression What sets Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu apart isn’t luxury, it’s sincerity. In a world full of polished but impersonal hotels, this one manages to feel human. It’s clean, consistent, and comfortable, but more importantly, it feels caring. As someone who not only travels often but also recommends hotels to colleagues and friends across continents, this property easily earns a place among those I’ll be suggesting again. There’s something compelling about how smoothly everything runs here, and it makes you wonder how the experience might evolve across different seasons or longer stays. Because when a hotel makes you curious to return, that’s when you know they’ve done something right.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic three-day stay at this hotel in December with my parents. The location is excellent: within walking distance of the main attractions, and although it’s situated near the Grand Bazaar, it’s surprisingly quiet. The hotel is very clean, and we were kindly upgraded to a Triple Deluxe room after the air conditioner in our original room wasn’t strong enough. The upgraded room was spacious, bright, and spotless. We chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant every evening because the food quality was outstanding, and Ozgur took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. Having access to the spa included in the price was an amazing bonus. Our daily routine was perfect — sightseeing until around 8–8:30 pm, relaxing at the spa until 10 pm, and then enjoying dinner at the restaurant with a breathtaking Bosphorus view until midnight. It was incredibly relaxing. The staff were all exceptionally friendly, breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant view is truly stunning. We especially appreciated that on our first night, when we arrived at the restaurant close to midnight, we were still able to order a full meal without any issue. Overall, a truly memorable and relaxing stay — we would happily return and have already recommended the hotel to friends

AAkif. My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim . Thank you, Double Tree Regards Akif

AA.Twiceit was fantastic weekend. We came for concert, but found this district very cute: a lot of specialty caffès, local cousine, friendly people. Waiter helped us to schedule our last day – we left our bag on reception and went for lovely walk before went to the airport. Place is nice, restaurant on 5th floor where we had a good breakfast, also has a nice view. Will be back ;)

GGuest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, not near the bustling Hagia Sophia or Istiklal Avenue. The main issue was that we arrived at 3 AM. During check-in, we confirmed with the front desk that we needed a smoking room. However, after the lobby boy led us to the room, he told us smoking wasn't allowed. We had to call the front desk again to clarify, wasting another 15 minutes in back-and-forth communication. Ultimately, we had to compromise and switch rooms. Plus, my parents' room wasn't even on the same floor as mine. However, I'm very grateful for the bellhop's help and detailed explanations. It's a shame we arrived at the airport too late that day and didn't have cash for a tip.

MM.M.TI have stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul before, in 2017 and 2018, and unfortunately my recent stay was very different from those previous experiences. The hotel itself has changed noticeably. The lobby used to feel much bigger, and now it feels smaller, with shops added that weren’t there before. While the hotel still offers good dining options—including Nobu, an Italian restaurant, and a well-known Turkish restaurant—Nobu in particular feels small compared to other locations worldwide. We stayed during the New Year and winter season, and the hotel felt lacking in festive spirit. The decorations were very minimal: mainly an outdoor Christmas tree and a YSL light tree inside, with only basic décor scattered around. Compared to other hotels we stayed in during the same period, it did not feel festive or atmospheric at all. If you are looking for a strong holiday or seasonal theme, this hotel may not meet that expectation. This is purely based on the overall look and feeling. Upon arrival, no welcome drinks were offered, which was surprising for a Ritz-Carlton. We noticed other guests receiving welcome drinks while we did not. The check-in area is quite small and not suitable for handling large families or groups. There is also no proper waiting area, except for two chairs near the entrance. At check-in, we were informed that our three rooms were on different floors (2, 3, and 10), which was shocking since we had requested connected rooms or at least rooms close to each other. The rooms themselves varied greatly: • The 2nd-floor room had a terrace but was not family-friendly at all. When exiting the elevator, the area felt very dark due to the wallpaper colors, which my children described as “creepy.” • The 3rd-floor room was slightly better, but the window faced a plant wall, making it feel like a basement room. • The 10th-floor room had a partial Bosphorus view and was by far the best room of the three. Because of these issues, I contacted Trip customer service, and I would like to sincerely thank Maxence Cui for the hard work, patience, and dedication shown while assisting us. Maxence truly tried everything possible to help us in a very stressful situation, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. I could see that the Ritz-Carlton management was actively involved in the discussion. Eventually, Mr. Mohammed, the hotel manager, stepped in and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism. He made us feel welcome, encouraged us to stay, and offered to move the other two rooms to the same floor, which greatly improved our experience. Many thanks to him as well. After the room change, we were finally together as a family, with partial sea views and garden views. The room service food was excellent, which was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, this stay was not the Ritz-Carlton experience we are used to from other locations around the world. While the situation improved thanks to the efforts of both Maxence Cui and Mr. Mohammed, it still did not fully meet our expectations. It was okay, but not the memorable luxury experience we associate with the Ritz-Carlton brand.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a dilapidated, sketchy neighbourhood. As a female solo traveller, it feels very scary to travel alone back to the hotel at night, as you will come across groups of men hanging along the street. It’s also ridiculously far from major train stations (15-20 minutes depending on your walking speed) and a lot of uphill climbing, which is a big minus for people who would stay more than 3 nights with more luggage / elderly. My local friend said with this price I could’ve booked a hotel at a more convenient location. The room is clean and has a functional layout. The sound insulation is poor, the first two nights I could hear the neighbour laughing, they were loud but still I had to wear earplugs to sleep. Also traffic noise continued even during late night. The hot water in shower is not very consistent, I had two days of perfectly hot water, and two days of lukewarm water. I was shivering when I went out of the shower. The water tap of the sink is very hard to switch on/off. The sink is big but not much space for putting necessities, which is a bit of an impractical design. As I was travelling alone, they only gave me one room card, which could be inconvenient in some way because if I would like to use the fridge in the room, it would turn off after I left the room. Even though I didn’t use the fridge, it is something to be noticed. I had experience staying in other hotels alone, they always give two cards. While it’s more energy saving this way, it’s inconvenient. The breakfast was alright, just like all other 3/4-star hotel breakfast, there is a variety of food. Staff checked the buffet area quite frequently, and the dining area is comfortable with a lot of light. It also has Turkish tea, which is great. One key event: the door lock was not functioning. After I left the room the second day, I checked if the door is being locked but it didn’t. I was terrified to know that the door lock wasn’t functioning, as I could go inside without a card. I immediately asked the front desk to fix it, and turned out the door lock was just out of battery. However, if I didn’t check the door, my room could’ve been easily broken in. Another thing is after this, I couldn’t find my earrings which were on the table. The coincidence made me think it was a stealing event. While eventually they found them after I checked out and they returned them to me, I could not help but felt frustrated in the meantime as my trust for the hotel was damaged. Despite that might have been just a misunderstanding, the hotel staff, especially Dilan, was very helpful and proactive in handling the event, and she also promised to compensate me, even though they saw no other people entering my room in the surveillance camera and she claimed that no stealing event has happened. Overall, despite all that has happened, I think the hotel is good and quite affordable for a short stay, but there might as well be other better options. l
