[Best hotel for travel and business use]
Located in front of Imari Station (about 1 minute walk from JR side), it is convenient for travel and business use anyway.
In addition, there are many thankful elements such as hot spring facilities, free of charge for guests, and free drinks and breakfast after check-in.
The first night I stayed at the hotel in Tianyu, I chose the Alita House Hotel! Very lucky, perfect! Fortunately, I didn't listen to other people's comments! The hotel is an industrial design hotel, clean and hygienic! Breakfast is also good, it is a fixed meal 😊! My beautiful day, starting with breakfast! And the location is in the pottery city, it is very convenient to go shopping!
We had a 4 night stay at Mercure Saga and had a wonderful time! The lobby is very spacious and beautifully presented. In the afternoon, they provided afternoon tea with snacks and complimentary drinks, which was a lovely touch.
We stayed in an ocean-view room with futon beds. It was very spacious and comfortable for our family of three. The breakfast buffet was definitely a highlight, there was such a wide variety of food to choose from!
The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming throughout our stay. Special thanks as well to the Kudon services for their great hospitality.
Thank you again for such a pleasant stay. We were very impressed and will definitely come back again!
This was a truly beautiful and wonderful hotel. The moment I entered the lobby, I was immediately struck by the breathtaking view. The harmony between the ocean view and the pristine white hotel was truly impressive. Every single item was precious and luxurious. There was an indoor heated pool for the kids, and an outdoor hot spring pool for the adults. Surrounded by distant mountains, the swimming pool and the ocean seemed to be connected... It was fantastic. The food was top-notch, and everything was top-notch. I highly recommend it.
I originally planned a trip to Fukuoka but came to Saga for the Saga beef. I booked the convenient Comfort Hotel Saga. The room was really small, and they didn't provide drinking water. On the first floor, they only offered basic cotton swabs and toothbrushes, so I was glad I brought my own cotton pads and shower cap. Check-in and check-out at the hotel were self-service. The hotel's location is indeed excellent; it's within walking distance to Saga Castle and the Balloon Museum. It's also right next to Saga JR Station, and you can take a bus to the famous YouMe Town in Saga. The bus stops are well-connected and right by the JR station, making it very convenient. However, at over 700 [currency unit] per night, the value for money isn't great when it's not peak season. If you prioritize convenient transportation, this place could be a good choice.
I recently stayed at Hotel R9 and had a pleasant experience, giving it an overall rating of 4 out of 5. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for short stays like overnight visits.
The unique concept of individual container rooms at Hotel R9 adds a touch of novelty to the experience. While the rooms may not be spacious enough for two males sharing a double room, they are still comfortable for couples. I found the rooms to be clean and well-maintained, earning a perfect 5 out of 5 for cleanliness.
Although Hotel R9 lacks fancy facilities like hot spring pools, swimming pools, and saunas, it does provide a convenient laundry room. This is particularly useful for solo and family travelers on a long trip but with a short stay at the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offers the option to soak in a hot water bath, which is especially rejuvenating when feeling tired. In terms of facilities, Hotel R9 falls slightly short with a rating of 3 out of 5. However, considering its focus on providing a comfortable and unique stay, the overall experience compensates for the limited facilities.
The hotel's location is excellent, receiving a perfect 5 out of 5 rating when driving. As for the service, while it was generally good, there is room for improvement, leading to a rating of 4 out of 5.
In conclusion, Hotel R9 is a great choice for travelers seeking a short, convenient stay. With its clean rooms, excellent location for drivers, and a range of practical amenities, it offers a pleasant experience overall.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, offering incredibly convenient access for exploring both the city center and surrounding areas. The rooms are a good size, immaculately clean, and the housekeeping service is exceptionally thorough. Both the front desk and room service staff were very warm and attentive. The breakfast was also particularly delicious. This is definitely a highly recommended hotel.
Nicely designed hotel. But rooms are small and tight. Not easy to walk around. Location a little off the center of Saga City but lots of car parking available. Service was good and helpful. And you can even buy a fireworks and play!
I've always wanted to soak in a seaside hot spring, and I'm super satisfied.
Get off at JR Hizen-Oura Station and take the hotel shuttle bus.
The men's and women's open-air hot springs are interchangeable, but they are both located at a great location with a view of the sea.
There is also a sea torii gate nearby. The bus leaves every hour. The last bus is around 17:00, so be sure to check the time.

Very Good
My stay at Ureshino Onsen Yoshidaya Uchiroji Hondori (also known as Yadoya Uchiroji Hondori) was a tale of two extremes in the charming hot spring town of Ureshino, Saga Prefecture. The hotel was modern Japanese-style with smart check-in system. The twin room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exude serene comfort, making it a perfect retreat. The private onsen facilities truly shine— It was a free slot with 40 mins, which could be booked once via QR Code at the room. Ureshino's famous sodium-rich hot springs, renowned as one of Japan's top three for beautifying the skin, deliver silky-smooth water that leaves you feeling rejuvenated. However, the meal plan was a major letdown. I sent an email to the hotel to confirm my booking and stated I did not eat beef before. The customer service replied I had to pay extra per person in order to change the meat option. For over JPY 38,000 per night including breakfast and dinner, we anticipated premium kaiseki cuisine or traditional served Japanese dinner set. Instead, only a bento box with cold salad and an underwhelming beef and egg pie that felt mismatched for the price. Tragically, my husband experienced vomiting shortly after, likely food-related, which overshadowed our trip. And the breakfast was also disappointing, which was only cold sandwiches with a cup of tea or milk. Thus, I strongly recommend the hotel clearly states the exact contents of dinner and breakfast plans on booking sites—including detailed menus or photos—and offers flexible options, such as plan changes or alternatives, if guests fall ill from the food. This transparency and adaptability would greatly enhance the experience and prevent frustration.

Room is spacious and the river view from our room is very nice. However, the toilet is small. The breakfast buffet has a very good spread, and overall quality was good. There are also free drinks and snacks at a spacious lounge for customers at various times of the day. Parking is on the hotel ground and free.
This hotel hosts many traveling workers. Rooms was small but clean. Location close to the train station. Frespo mall is a 5 minutes walk away. Free parking if you’re driving. Room comes with breakfast so that was good. Breakfast is local cuisine, which explains why local workers stay here. Receptionists were very helpful and spoke some English. All in all, I am a satisfied customer.
The hotel is located just outside of Takeo-onsen station, making it a great resting place for travelers who travel by JR. Free breakfast is good, though the time limit (30 mins) is a bit tight. Hotspring is relaxing, but a bit too small.
Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. It is a large hotel and the price was reasonable for the quality of the stay. The highlight for me was the cleanliness. The hotel also boasts a fantastic amenity: a rooftop onsen (hot spring). It was incredibly relaxing and offered a great way to unwind after a long day of travel. The main downside, however, was the dining options. While convenient, both the breakfast and dinner buffets were quite expensive. There are probably more affordable local options nearby if you are looking to save on meals.
