Great stay with an excellent location. The hotel is very convenient — close to major attractions and convenience stores, and there is an AEON right downstairs which makes shopping and meals very easy.
The room was surprisingly spacious for Japan, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Having a washing machine and a refrigerator in the room was a big plus, especially for longer stays.
Overall, a very comfortable and practical hotel. Highly recommended for families or travelers who value space and convenience.
Traveled with friends and we were very happy with the hotel; it was conveniently located for getting everywhere. Hakodate's million-dollar night view is definitely worth seeing. The hotel is also very close to Hakodate Station, and the onsen was great – a really comfortable stay.
We stayed at Hotel Mystays Sapporo as a family traveling with a baby. The location of the hotel is excellent, very convenient for getting around Sapporo, with many attractions, shops, and restaurants nearby. This made our stay much easier and more enjoyable, especially when traveling with a baby.
When we first entered our room, we unfortunately faced a few issues. The phone was not working, and part of a wall fixture was coming off, which raised safety concerns for us as parents. It was disappointing to receive a room in this condition, especially when traveling with a baby where safety is a priority.
However, we would like to highlight the very professional reaction of the hotel staff. Once we reported the problem, they responded quickly and seriously. They upgraded us to their biggest room and fixed the issue, making sure we felt comfortable and reassured. Their attitude and willingness to solve the problem made a big difference and turned a negative first impression into a positive experience.
Another strong point of the hotel is the restaurant inside the hotel, which was excellent. The food quality was very good, and the convenience of having such a good restaurant on-site was invaluable for us as a family. We ended up eating there almost every night.
Overall, while we were initially disappointed with the condition of the first room, we were very satisfied with how the staff handled the situation, the great location, and the quality of the restaurant. Thanks to their responsiveness and professionalism, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future.

The accessibility was excellent, located right in the heart of Susukino, Sapporo. It was close to the subway station, and there were many convenience stores, great restaurants, and shopping spots nearby, making it very easy to get around.
The room, as is typical for Japanese hotels, was a bit small but impeccably clean, and the bedding was comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, so overall, it was a very satisfying stay.
I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Sapporo!
The hotel is a bit of a walk from the main attractions, but the service is excellent. You can even store your luggage a day in advance. It's super convenient for getting around, as it's not tied to one specific metro station, meaning you have easy access to many lines.
This hotel is located on the 4th floor of the New Chitose Airport International Terminal. You can see the signs for the hotel on the 3rd floor of the international departure area. Just follow the signs and you'll spot the 'Library Cafe' on your right, up the escalator – that's the hotel entrance. If you have a luggage cart, you can enter through the 3rd-floor door and take the elevator up. The lobby is very spacious, and you can even take your luggage cart directly to your room, which is super convenient. The spa and hot springs are located right by the elevators on the 4th floor. The hot springs are open until 10 PM, so you can enjoy a late-night soak. The rooms are very large and new, with separate showers and bathtubs. I didn't use the shower in my room since I went to the hot springs instead. The room offered beautiful sunset and mountain views, as well as views of planes taking off and landing. The last flight departs around 7 PM, and the first one takes off around 8:30 AM, so it doesn't disturb your sleep. After checking in, it was very convenient to go shopping on the 2nd floor and have dinner on the 3rd floor. The next day, I checked out at 11 AM and could push my luggage cart directly to the check-in counter without any hassle. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!
The hotel's location is good, about an 8-minute walk from Hakodate Station. The lobby and public areas are impressively decorated, but the room decor, however, was a bit plain, and the space wasn't utilized very well. The bathroom also lacked a proper wet/dry separation.
There are two restaurants for breakfast: a buffet on the 1st floor and set menus on the 2nd floor. I had originally planned to try both options since I was staying for two nights. However, to my surprise, the buffet on the 1st floor required waiting for a table for over 40 minutes on both mornings, so I gave up. I ended up having the set menu on the 2nd floor for both days, which was decent. It was less crowded, and a set meal was quite filling for the morning. Overall, I'd rate it 3.5 stars.
When I first entered the hotel room, my initial impression wasn't great; some of the furniture looked a bit old. However, after staying for two weeks, I grew to love it more and more. Firstly, Japanese hotels excel in service; everyone, from the top management to the housekeepers, is Japanese. This is a stark contrast to my experiences in Osaka where many staff were Vietnamese, in Nagoya with many Indians, or in Tokyo where the front desk was often staffed by people from India. The hotel has a public bath on the second floor, which was incredibly comfortable for a soak after returning on a cold winter night. The central heating in the room was very effective and cozy! The shower pressure was also excellent, genuinely good! I'm planning to come back next year for a month to see the snow! This is my top choice for staying in Sapporo.
Location: Unbeatable, right above Sapporo Station, truly offering 'seamless connectivity' to the station. It's incredibly convenient whether you're arriving from the airport via JR or transferring to subways and buses to various attractions.
Service & Facilities: The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The hotel's (Japanese) breakfast is a major highlight; it tastes excellent and is well worth taking your time to enjoy. The Western breakfast was just average (nothing particularly different from other five-star hotels).
Room & View: The view from the room's window is stunning, overlooking the entire cityscape of Sapporo. Although the room space feels slightly cramped for a hotel in the same price range (the room is a bit small), it's acceptable given the convenience of the location.
Summary: For those prioritizing travel efficiency and city views, this is the top choice.
The hotel's scenery is absolutely perfect! Taking a stroll by the lake is lovely, and the lobby has high-quality audio equipment. The library on the first floor is fantastic, with a great selection of books and just the right volume. The food is also excellent, especially the dinner steak – it's a must-try! There aren't many shops nearby, so it's not a bustling old street, but it's ideal for a relaxing, 'empty your mind' kind of vacation.

Great
The Hotel is located near to the train station, easy access to central area, the room is very specious, clean, and very comfy to stay. I did have breakfast, and it was very delicious.
We had a really fantastic time at Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort which was a once in a lifetime experience for us. The area is beautiful and the spa has everything you need for a fantastic and relaxing stay. We stayed in a Premier Suite and the rooms are fantastic - fully equipped and spacious with all amenities, and a fantastic private Onsen to relax in.The staff at the spa were extremely friendly and helpful, and attentive to all of our needs. We'd love to come back some time and would highly recommend!
This hotel is exceptional, we are touched by the staff’s warm hospitality from the welcome drink to room service and hotel introduction. The room was huge and comfortable, offering a runway view and beautiful sunrise in the morning. I love the hotel onsen and the buffet breakfast was really good. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Hokkaido!
The hotel staff is polite and friendly thier place is excellent clean and safe especially thier spa will recommend to friends if they are travelling to sapporo.
The view on Lake Toya from the hotel was spectacular. We were lucky to have witnessed the cloud sea and sunrise. From the other angle, we could see the full view of Mt Yotei, also known as Hokkaido Fuji. There are few restaurants in the hotel, including the Japanese, Chinese, French, and the Italian. There was also good onsen in the hotel, both idoor and outdoor. We will definitely come back to stay again in the future.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is modern Japanese-style room and very clean. Also, the breakfast & dinner is nice. We enjoyed the public bath a lot which has both indoor and outdoor. We enjoyed our stay here.
Nice Onsen resort and we like the private Onsen inside the room. The room is huge but it will be great if it has international channels or even Netflix or YouTube. It provides transport to Sapporo so that is great. Nice free drinks and snacks at night.
Best of the best! I didn’t wanna leave the hotel at all. The dinner was amazing and soo much food with free Sapporo beer as a complimentary! The bedroom view is magical and I love the onsen both in our room or the private one! Sooo amazing!!❤️❤️
Stepping into OMO7 Asahikawa in October is like entering a whimsical, yet refined autumn wonderland. The hotel’s commitment to its local roots shines through, from the delightful Halloween décor to the quirky concierge team, each donning animal masks that pay homage to Asahikawa’s natural inhabitants—squirrels, rabbits, and even the elusive Ezo deer. These playful touches make every guest feel part of the seasonal festivities. The rooms are a modern take on casual luxury, offering just enough space for comfort without compromising on style. The raised platform bed is a clever design element, providing practical storage underneath and adding to the room’s sleek aesthetic. A standout feature is the open-air lounge on the fifth floor, an unexpected retreat furnished with contemporary pieces crafted by Asahikawa artisans. On chilly evenings, guests can cozy up next to a real bonfire, fleece blankets at hand, savoring the warmth after a rejuvenating sauna. Though the public bath boasts a modern, serene ambiance, its popularity can be surprising—on one evening, I found myself queuing for a shower cubicle, an unusual experience in such a tranquil setting. But any minor inconvenience was quickly forgotten, thanks to the small, thoughtful touches scattered throughout the hotel. Most memorable was the welcome drink station by the concierge, where Haskap juice—served from a bear motif faucet—offered a burst of refreshing, tangy delight. Breakfast at OMO7 is all about quality over quantity. The buffet may not overwhelm with variety, but each dish, from seasonal delights like salmon on waffles to the perfectly creamy scrambled eggs, feels lovingly curated. It’s a modest spread, but one where every bite counts, making the start to each day a little more special. OMO7 Asahikawa manages to balance fun and sophistication with effortless grace—truly a hidden gem for those looking to explore this lesser-known corner of Japan in style.
