Overall definitely more comfortable than most riads, but the hotel is slowly falling apart. Breakfast is expensive but delicious.

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and quite quiet, but the location is a bit far from the ancient city, but taking a taxi is not expensive. You can get to the ancient city for 20 yuan. The surrounding facilities of the hotel are also quite complete, including a large supermarket and McDonald's.

Dar D'or Fes is the definition of hospitality. Namir and his staff went beyond our expectations and took great care of us from the beginning. He provides useful information for navigating the medina and advice for finding good tour guides and day trip providers. Alrhough the stairs were quite steep to get to our suite, the staff made sure we didn't have to carry our luggage up. They were also extremely flexible to accommodate our itinerary. We had to leave at 8am for our day trip to chefchaouen and the day of departure and on both days they prepared breakfast for us prior to the regular time. All in all, it was a very heart warming experience staying at Dar D'or Fes. I will give it q score of AMAZING out of 10!

Really like the location, just beside the train station. The service was very good, they changed my room when I complained about the hair dryer that not working. The restaurant located nearby swimming pool, very nice view during breakfast

Excellent experience, however, some negative points to be highlighted. At breakfast, the manager followed us to ask us to fix, even though we had communicated our room number at the entrance breakfast was understood. This situation has made us particularly bad for other customers. In addition, after buying two cares for a sum of more than 1,700 dirhams, I wished to stay for a twenty minutes at the pool. Except all that was Top

The homestay is in the old city, it is relatively deep, and some are not easy to find, especially we arrived at night. No one in the small alley is a cat, but I panic. Entering the homestay, it is a traditional North African residence with a large patio, very unique, the room is very quiet, there is a unique flavor of Arabic spices. Especially recommended is the local special breakfast prepared by the boss and the proprietress. Dining on the roof terrace is really an exotic style, the overall recommendation!

Facilities: In Riad, the room type is huge and worthy of the title of suite suite. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is bright. The public area is definitely a ceiling level in Fesri. It is worth visiting to take pictures and punch in. After all, it is a 700-year-old building. But it is recently renovated, so don't worry about old equipment and facilities. The furniture and other materials are exquisite, and even snail technology. On the hottest day, my deluxe room air conditioning was not strong, so I upgraded to a family suite directly (other room types are full, it can be seen that it is very hot) Hygienic: clean and tidy, whether it is in the room or in the public area, restaurants, etc., it can meet the five-star standard. Environment: Look at the picture to know how beautiful the public area environment is. Mosaic walls, atriums, green plants, chairs, etc., all see the work. At the same time, the location is in the center of the old city, about 15 minutes walk from the parking lot. There are too many alleys. Remember to look at the hotel signs on the walls in the streets and alleys, and it is not difficult to find. Service: The service is good overall, the staff in the hotel are very warm, the breakfast is full, and the terrace is dining, and the unique old town scenery can be photographed. However, the person who picks up the luggage is not a hotel employee, and needs to pay another handling fee (people are very hard to earn hard labor, no problem to give money, just ask the hotel in advance to communicate) Anyway, one-stop recommendation!

It's the first hotel I stayed in Meknes. It's a bit far from the city center. It's free parking, so you can park right in front of the hotel. It was good, but it was during Ramadan. I didn't have room service, so I went out for dinner. I had to solve it. There's no refrigerator in the room. It was a little uncomfortable.

The hotel is in a very good location. The public area is the destination of the trip, with Morocco and Fez characteristics. The room facilities are a bit old-fashioned. After two days of drinking in the hotel, the service staff's understanding of happy hour is quite different from that of the general public. It's not bad to communicate and coordinate with various departments in the hotel every day, just practice.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unexpected Moroccan traditional courtyard experience! ** The **Volubilis Hotel** that I stayed at in Fez this time was really great! The hotel is located in the old city of Medina, and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the Blue Gate of Boujilou. The location is super convenient. As soon as I entered the door, I was amazed by the Moroccan traditional courtyard. The mosaic tiles and carved wooden doors are super atmospheric and beautiful for taking pictures! Special thanks to our Chinese tour guide **Director Lin (WeChat: **********)**, who helped to book a price cheaper than the platform and upgraded the suite for free! The room was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the terrace overlooked the panoramic view of the old city of Fez. Director Lin also recommended a super authentic tagine restaurant near the hotel, which was much better than the Internet celebrity restaurant! The hotel service is also very considerate. The front desk is fluent in English and helped arrange airport pick-up and local SPA. You must try the mint tea and honey pancakes for breakfast! If you come to Fez, I strongly recommend staying here. Find Director Lin (WeChat as above) to book and you can also get a desert group coupon, which is super cost-effective!

GGuest UserMy stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager. We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay. Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day. At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay. The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring. What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here.

AAngie Laibaby ArmchannelLove this Riad, it is so clean and beautiful inside and the roof top with a nice Panorama view . Before arriving the riad, they sent me an email asking my WhatsApp so they can send me the exact location and so video clips for me to know how to get there since Google map doesn’t work when getting inside the Medina . They said if I really couldn’t find the way, they could pick me up in one of the entrances to the riad. I thought I could find it but I failed so I called them. One of the staff came out immediately and helped me my luggage. The two young staff there are very helpful and friendly. Since I was so late to arrive , so one staff (should be called Abdullah) brought me out again so I can Rmb how to get out and in again next time. The other young staff also brought me where I can find friendly convenient store nearby to get essentials. Love them and so helpful. The breakfast was nice too. The AC inside the Room is good and the water pressure and the heat were good too ! Highly recommend this Riad when u travel to fez next time. Rmb to bring ur amenities since they do not provide any bathing items or toothbrush. Recommend the riad to have a rubbish bin in the room instead of just inside the toilet.

YYongyuandeninghaiThe hotel's WiFi coverage is particularly comprehensive, whether in the room, lobby, restaurant, or in the corner of the corridor, the WiFi signal is very strong, there will be no disconnection. I have tested it in various places in the hotel, the speed is very stable, and the video, game, and download files are smooth. For those who need to surf the Internet at any time, such a comprehensive and stable WiFi is really important.

GGuest UserA very beautiful riad in the middle of medina, we are so happy to have stayed here. Mesmerising inner court, authentic-looking room, and a wonderful host Youssef, who is very welcoming and always ready to help. We stayed in the end of December, so it wasn’t exactly warm in the room, and if there was a heater of some sort, that would be just perfect. But then again, it was the 4th riad in a row we stayed at, and it was the warmest of them all even without aircon or heater. With that being said, I’m sure the temperature would feel just perfect during spring, summer or autumn. Thank you again to Youssef and the team, you left us a wonderful memory of Fes❤️
