"May 8, 2026. I checked in around 8 PM. Even though there weren't many people waiting, it still took about 30 minutes to process, which is longer than other hotels. What's more, after completing the check-in, the staff told me the room wasn't clean yet and therefore unavailable. I was speechless. I had to get the room after dinner.
Also, when I checked in, I asked if a twin room was possible, and the staff said yes. But when I got to the room, it turned out to be a single room. If they had just told me no from the start, I wouldn't have been disappointed. It felt like they don't care about guests' needs.
Actually, the hotel is great in other aspects: the room is large, clean, and the pool is beautiful, perfect for kids. It's also close to the mall, making dining and shopping convenient."

WWayhidah UsopOverall, it's okay. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Even though it's an older hotel, it's still decent. It's near the Shah Alam mosque and next to a shopping complex. There are many dining options, including food trucks in the residential area behind the hotel.

AAnonymous Userstayed at royale chulan for my sister’s wedding and overall, it was a nice stay. the hotel has that classic, old-money kind of vibe which i really liked, although i do think some areas could be maintained a little better to bring the hotel back to its full charm.
overall, it’s pretty much your average hotel experience — nothing particularly extraordinary, but comfortable enough for a short stay.
special shoutout to the man in the blue baju melayu who helped us with our bags. his service was honestly 10/10 — very helpful, friendly and made such a good first impression. ⭐️
breakfast was probably the weakest part for me, around 6/10. there was room for improvement in terms of the food and overall selection.
overall: a pleasant stay, beautiful old-money atmosphere, but definitely could use better maintenance and an improved breakfast selection.

醫醫師The hotel facilities are satisfactory, and the pool and gym equipment are well-maintained. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of options, and the taste is suitable for Hongkongers. It's super convenient to get to the theme park, just across the road. Walking to the mall only takes about three minutes, and there are plenty of restaurant choices inside. However, transportation is a bit inconvenient; I'd basically recommend taking a taxi to get there.

GGuest UserWe came here for a quick, totally unplanned getaway with the family and ended up having a really good time. We booked 3 rooms, and the resort worked really well for a family trip. The location is probably one of the best things about the resort. It’s close to the city and all the activities, but once you’re inside the resort, the city is mostly out of view, so it still feels like a proper getaway. The food was surprisingly good. We went to Ahan twice, once for dinner and again for lunch and enjoyed both visits. The hotel breakfast was fine too, with plenty of choices, although nothing particularly special.
The buggy service was helpful whenever one was available. During busier times, it could be a little difficult to get one, so we simply used our own car to get around the other areas. It wasn’t really a problem for us. There are plenty of activities around. We went go-karting, played golf, took the kids to the waterpark, and tried the VR, which was actually really fun. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for VR a second time! Another nice touch is the 24-hour self-service shop. Late at night, we even ordered pizza for the kids, and surprisingly, Grab delivery was able to reach the resort. Overall, there are plenty of activities, restaurants and different types of rooms to choose from. For an unplanned family getaway, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely consider coming back again.

GGuest UserWe used the Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Airport for a short overnight stay before our connecting flight and were generally satisfied.
The hotel is very practical for a stay near the airport. The rooms were clean, functionally furnished, and perfectly adequate for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. We couldn't make use of the breakfast due to our early departure.
The uncomplicated location in conjunction with an early departure the next morning was particularly important to us. For that purpose, the hotel is very well suited.
From our perspective, anyone looking for a comfortable and reasonably priced airport hotel for a stopover can definitely choose the Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Airport.

GGuest UserTo be honest, this hotel's facilities are quite dated, and its location is pretty much ”secluded from the world,” making dining and shopping inconvenient. However, putting those points aside, it's actually a great place to unwind! Even though it's old, it's kept reasonably clean. And precisely because it's off the beaten path, it's incredibly quiet at night, ensuring excellent sleep quality. The hotel staff are also very enthusiastic and helpful, always ready to answer any questions, which makes you feel very welcome. If you're not looking for hustle and bustle and just want a quiet place for a getaway and perhaps play some golf, this place can still offer a good experience.

We stayed at the KSL Esplanade Hotel for a family trip of 4 and booked the 2-Bedroom Suite. Since it’s a newly opened hotel, all the facilities were sparkling clean and in top-notch condition. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely return!
Room & Amenities: The suite was fantastic. The highlight was the master bathroom's oversized bathtub—extremely spacious and luxurious! Toiletries were generous, and the shower gel and shampoo smelled amazing. They also thoughtfully provided large eco-friendly glass bottles of drinking water.
Soundproofing & Layout: Outstanding sound insulation! My kids were watching TV in the adjoining room at a loud volume, but we couldn't hear a thing from our bedroom. The suite comes with 3 bathrooms (including a powder room in the living room), which was super convenient for a family of four.
Bed & Sleep Quality: The bed was remarkably comfortable—we all slept soundly through the night. The only tiny improvement would be adding extra pillows, as each bed only had one.
Breakfast: Included in our room price (around 750 per night standard, though I managed to reduce it to 650 with promos and Trip Coins). At ~45 per head, the breakfast feels a bit overpriced unless you are a big eater, especially with so many dining options at the adjacent shopping mall.
Parking & Accessibility: Parking is shared with the mall and can be quite confusing on your first visit due to unclear directional signs. It might be slightly inconvenient for families with toddlers and heavy luggage. Also, elevators can be a bit slow during peak hours, but they run very fast otherwise (from G to 21st floor).
Overall, a solid option in Klang with impressive rooms and comfortable bedding. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis hotel is an excellent choice if you are looking for comfortable accommodation while waiting for a transit flight. It is conveniently located just 12–15 minutes from the airport and provides a scheduled shuttle service to and from the airport. The vehicles were in excellent condition, making the transfer experience smooth and convenient.
The hotel itself has a traditional style, so guests should not expect a modern or contemporary room. However, the rooms are well-equipped and provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. Its location right next to the Grand Mosque is also a major advantage, particularly for Muslim travelers.
The real highlight of our stay, however, was the food. We booked the half-board option, including breakfast and dinner, and were genuinely impressed by the exceptional variety, quality, and taste of the food. It was absolutely worth paying the additional charge for the meal plan.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would like to commend the hotel staff for their warm hospitality and excellent service, especially Mr. Nezam, Mr. Shaun, and Mr. Raja. Their professionalism and attentiveness made our experience even more pleasant.

TTeskentodecent business hotel, wish the check in counter to be bigger as it does feel cramped in there. there are few things that the hotel falls short of, and I have personally highlighted to the front desk for improvements :-
upon checking in, given the first key to my room, which i later found out someone was staying in; it appeared messy and untidy;
DOUBLE CHECK IN IS A MAJOR RED FLAG🚩
secondly, there’s aircon unit malfunctioned so we requested for a room change. The technician was swift and front office was prompt in accommodating so no complaints on that.
However what happens next is what discomforts me.
in the middle of night, the hotel staff rang our door bell thrice, within the interval of 5 mins, while we were soundly asleep, to retrieve the key card for the first room we changed from.
first the hotel door doesn’t have peephole, guest wouldn’t possibly know who’s knocking or asking, and it’s dangerous to answer doors in such condition, in middle of the night.
a light knock, combo with a “room service” would be appropriate, if situation is really dire. i don’t know how serious it is when they see the need to demand the return of key card for a room that has malfunctioned aircon, in wee hours. simply ridiculous
