The hotel has a convenient location right by the sea. It has a restaurant, making dining very convenient. There are restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood within walking distance, including seafood restaurants, Korean restaurants, Japanese restaurants, and Georgian restaurants.
В коридорах очень сильно пахнет.
Номера довольно простые, но в свою стоимость.
Очень удобные матрасы.
Вкусно кормят в кафе, ребята максимально приятные и клиентоориентированные.
This Novotel hotel is like a simplified version, similar to an Ibis hotel in China. The buffet breakfast was decent, and the service was prompt. The staff spoke English. My room on the first night was very small, and I couldn't close the curtains. Ctrip customer service helped me contact the hotel to change rooms and extend my check-out time to 1:30 PM. Ctrip's online customer service was excellent; they were indispensable personal assistants during my trip.
I stayed in a sea-view suite. The room was warm, clean, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and bedding. The view was truly beautiful.
The bathroom was large enough for a soak, and there was plenty of hot water. On the first day of my stay, two bottles of water were provided. After that, I had to bring my own container to collect water from the hallway.
The hotel has two restaurants. One offers a buffet breakfast. Since I decided to eat there at the last minute, it cost 850 rubles per person. If you book breakfast with your room, it's much cheaper. The prices at the other restaurant were also reasonable (according to the menu).
Although the hotel is on a hillside, walking back to the hotel through the main entrance isn't too strenuous. It's also convenient to get to the seaside and city attractions, with many restaurants along the way (however, if you want to visit popular 'influencer' spots, you definitely need to make reservations. I didn't, so I couldn't try them). There's a cinema next to the hotel, and also a food street with several eateries.
There are stairs from the lobby to the elevators. While not too many steps, it can be tiring with luggage.
The hotel apartment is contactless. The owner's WeChat is on the door; after adding him, he'll send you the access code and all the details. Stepping inside, it immediately felt warm; there were radiators everywhere, making it very hot. The room was quite spacious, with an open kitchen complete with pots, pans, and utensils. We were a group of three; we entered ”3 people” when booking, so the room had a double bed and a tatami mat, a dining table, TV, hairdryer, iron, and very thick slippers. There were also bath towels, bathrobes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs—all provided for three people. The room was very warm due to the many radiators. So far, the only thing I've found—which isn't really a drawback—is the lack of breakfast. Even if there were, we might not have been able to enjoy the food.
For any questions, just contact the hotel management via WeChat.
I took a taxi directly from the airport. It's next to the police station, so it seems quite safe, at least it appears so. There's a small church behind it, with lots of pigeons at the entrance. Next to the church is an aquarium. It's a 10-minute walk to Victory Square and only 5 minutes to the beach.
I think the location is excellent. There's a 24-hour convenience store nearby where you can buy everything except hot water.
I forgot to take a picture! This hotel is located right next to the railway line and is actually a B&B with no front desk staff. Upon arrival, I couldn't get in! There was a staff member's WeChat ID on the door. I downloaded the app, contacted the staff, confirmed my reservation, and sent them the door code, room number, and password before I could get in. (The problem came on my first night. I was woken up by a guest who arrived in the middle of the night and kept knocking at the door. It took a while for them to get in.)
The room was small but clean. It was fine for a one-night stay, but it became a problem for a few consecutive nights. 😂 We ended up using our supermarket bags to take out our trash. The area around the hotel looks run-down. Across the railway line is the commercial district, and it's quite close to the beach.
Pros:
The breakfasts are really great — a variety of fruits, meats, fish. There are fresh juices, good coffee. The quality is above average. The mattresses and bed are comfortable. The room on the 10th floor had a heater — it helped dry clothes after walking in the humid climate of Vladivostok.
Cons:
The main discomfort was moving. Every time, when extending the stay, you had to vacate the room and move to another, even if the same category was booked. This took time and created inconvenience — things were packed in a hurry, some remained damp.
The hotel positions itself as a 4-star, but in fact — a solid 3+. The rooms have not been renovated for about 15 years. The doors and walls are tired.
I was also surprised that when booking through a Chinese website, they provide a higher room category, although in the Russian system it is considered the same. This creates a feeling of double standards.
Bottom line:
If you book in advance at the reduced price (~3000₽), this is an acceptable option. At full price, it's rather overpriced. The staff is polite, but the system for handling extensions needs to be revised.

Clean, tidy and quiet place. Perfect for rest from the vain and noise of central streets. The only minus is located in a residential house and is on a one-way street that taxi drivers could not find and get in as appropriate. Almost late for the plane.
Everything is good, clean, beautiful, the downside is that there is construction going on and the location is a bit out of the way, but the amazing view from the window, the cleanliness of the room and its organization were a plus
