SshoshiiiVery good stay in general. Around 10 minutes walk from all the day trip pick up locations (e.g. Brooke Street Pier). The facilities were amazing and the front desk staff members were all very supportive and helpful. Loved the welcome cookies!!
The room was big and we received daily clean ups. We visited the pool and also utilised the gym during our stay as well - very good facilities.
The bathroom wall was a bit think as we could vaguely hear people next door, but the room was completely fine - could not hear a thing.
Would recommend to all types of travellers and will definitely stay again if we are visiting Hobart again!

UuyoacSince other room types were fully booked, I ended up reserving a motel-style room in the annex building. The annex doesn't have an elevator and you have to walk down, which initially felt a bit eerie. However, I later found out the room had a window facing a courtyard, so it turned out to be okay. The facilities are quite basic and dated, but the water pressure is good and the price is relatively cheap. The best part is the free parking (parking on the second level is the most convenient).

DD12428****The room is large, there is breakfast but the taste is generally the same, there is a supermarket nearby for a few minutes, there is free parking space. However, the staff should be very small at the front desk and be responsible for room service.

IIvan and FamilyGood location, just walking distance to the main streets which closes very early. Restaurants are easily accessible. I self drive, nearest parking is of about 3-5mins walk away at $35AUD per night unlimited. I personally feel if i were to choose again, maybe i would just park at the nearest carpark beside, or park at the same carpark without using the hotel privilege, maybe it could be cheaper. This is because i only come back to the hotel at night and moved out early in the morning. Worth exploring if anyone were to try.
Cleanliness wise, im not too sure, i make room everyday but theres some stains in the bathroom which was left on day1, still there on day3, but room and bed definitely tidied.
Still worth to stay. Love the indoor pool and the breakfast is good too! (Ala carte order, not buffet)

WWobuxiangzuofeijileThe hotel's amenities are probably top-notch for an Ibis in Australia, and the room was neat and clean. The air conditioning in our first room wasn't working, and Mr. Amin was incredibly kind and proactive in helping us. He provided a Dyson fan to address the issue and promptly followed up on the room's temperature. When he learned it still wasn't resolved, he consulted his supervisor to arrange a room change. He also helped us with our luggage and moved the original fan to the new room as a backup. I felt like this level of service was on par with The Ritz, and I was deeply touched. Thank you, Mr. Amin.

AAnonymous UserEastcoaster Tasmania was a fantastic choice for our Maria Island adventure—it’s just a shortdrive to Triabunna, the main ferry port. Rooms were cozy and spotless, with unbeatable water views that set a relaxing tone before our island hike.
Perfect for nature lovers; the peaceful coastal vibe recharges you after a day exploring Maria Island’s trails and wildlife. Parking was plentiful, and the on-site dining hit the spot. Highly recommend for a laid-back base on Tasmania’s east coast.

GGuest UserThe location is close to a small street next to the coastal pier. There are bars nearby, making it busy yet quiet. The decoration of the hotel is elegant, simple and contemporary. There is a laundry room on the floor, complete with washing powder and a washer and dryer. Although the closing time is closed, the door is not locked by visual inspection. The room is spacious and newly decorated. It is equipped with electric stove, oven, microwave and simple stove. There is no peculiar smell. However, there is no heating lamp in the bathroom, the water in the wash basin is very slow, and there is no bathtub.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the city center. It's a bit dark in the middle and there are less people. It's a bit inconvenient after dark. But the airport Air-bus is right next to the pier, about a five-minute walk.
For Tasmania's largest city, this hotel is a top choice.
