The staff were very friendly and helpful we forgot our toothpaste and toothbrush and we asked at front desk and got given a dental kit also ran out of tea and sugar. Swimming pool was beautiful

I could be A1 if the facilities were maintained but unfortunately the spa is starting to look and feel shabby. Lockers broken, tiles missing, saunas and steam rooms not working, hot water temperamental, circa 70% of light bulbs not working (hydrospa area) ... Just missing the touch that would elevate the place. Rooms are clean and welcoming, our bed had been wellness and the mattress sagged in the middle, but it was comfy and we didn't complain (rm 224). Couldn't control TV, controller was faulty. Nice view across canal and fields. Overall, it is worth the price but could be so much more! We enjoyed our stay, we will be back for an overnight break away, we dont expect.much to change, just wish it would!

Where to begin with this one? Firstly i requested to cancel as i was coming down with COVID like symptoms. Ramada Telford seem to not mind that though, so that request was denied (no offer of another stay, or partial refund, nothing). Felt better day of, and decided to travel. On check-in (nor on the website, photo attached) i wasn't told anything about the pool being out of service. Turns out it was. No offer of a full or partial refund. Nothing. Luckily, Trip have stepped in with a good will gesture. Spoke to some people (named below) by email afterwards and basically told ”nothing they can do” and ”it's trip's fault” that the website didn't reflect that their pool had been out of action since DECEMBER. The post code given on the hotel address did not lead us to the Hotel. It was difficult to find as it was inside an estate. The hotel is not close to the road. The sign at the road entrance is not very prominent. When arriving at the hotel, the building looks like a manor of some royalties which was quite impressive. Check in was smooth but there wasn't a lift and we had to haul our heavy luggage up a couple flight of stairs and through narrow corridors. No porters or conceige to help was a bit annoying. The breakfast was standard full english breakfast which was as expected. Lawn areas and many big trees around the hotel does provide a relaxing feel. There is a separate building that houses the pool and gym. This facility was not exclusive for hotel guest and open to people who join their club. Unfortunetely on the day of my stay, there were many people there and so I gave it a miss.

The room had alot including a fridge, iron, iron board, cooling fan, hair dryer. The spa had an ice room steam rooms saunas heated pool and a few other spa treats I've forgot lol really good stay the breakfast is a buffet continental plus English breakfast.

Overall wasnt a great stay, ill keep it short and sweet and list positives and negatives rather than go into detail Positives - All staff friendly and helpful, nice location, if you can book a deluxe room so you get a first floor room with outside table and chairs and a view of the golf course. Treatment and spa faciltes were good though theres no jaqoozi. Comfy bed! Negatives - Organisation, i had spa day and lunch, it wasnt explained about where lunch was or what was included i had to ask all the questions. I wasnt told the £15 limit for lunch so i went over and they then expected me to pay the difference but they agreed it was unfair. Room cleanliness, bathroom wasnt great, nail clippings on floor and 100’s of small hairs all around the bath after someones shave! Room was very warm and it wasnt even that hot outside, take a fan in hot weather! Food prices very high for what you get, nothing special! Took 30 mins to get my drink at dinner and 65 mins to get my burger and chips, apparantly staff were off sick and there was a new bar man who delayed drinks I wouldnt go back for the price you have to pay and what you get

No complaints for a single night. Nice big bathroom and clean.
