Completely exceeded my expectations! The lobby decor is grand yet cozy đĄ, and the bellhop was super enthusiastic about helping with luggage đ§ł. The room's soundproofing was so good I couldn't hear any noise đ€«, and waking up to the morning sun was incredibly refreshing đ. Checkout was super fast, no long waits â. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love the Imperial Hotel Osaka! It's so close to Umeda, yet incredibly peaceful with beautiful views. From my window, I could see the Okawa River, amphibious tour buses (or cars!), and the pier. Taking a walk by the river and clearing my mind was incredibly therapeutic. I heard the hotel is almost fully booked for cherry blossom season, and I can only imagine how stunning it must be then!
Speaking of the hotel, it truly lives up to its reputation as an established brand. The service is impeccable. There are seven restaurants within the hotel, each with its own unique charm. This time, I tried the Jasmine Chinese restaurant and the Western bar. The Chinese restaurant served some of the most authentic Chinese food I've had in Japan, though I was disappointed not to try the recommended lobster â it was sold out that day. The Western bar, however, was absolutely delicious, fairly priced, and the service was excellent.
The hotel makes you feel cared for at all times, without ever being intrusive. The staff are incredibly discreet and attentive.

The hotel shares facilities with Spa World. When I visited, it was decorated for Christmas. The room itself was decent, but they don't provide slippers, which was a bit inconvenient. For dining, you can eat at the large cafeteria on the third floor of Spa World or at one of their other restaurants. There's a good variety of choices, and the prices are reasonable.

Overall, it was good. The scenery is beautiful, and the breakfast was quite rich. The night view of Osaka Castle is truly stunning, and you can even enjoy the river view from the elevator area. The only thing is the coffee machine at breakfast was a bit dirty.

The location is excellent to airport bus at OCAT and food at Namba Walk. Â Considering the size and number of rooms they have organised their lifts well. Â Highlight is the Ibsen on level 4. Walkable to Dotonbori.

Coming from Tokyo, I thought I had the Shinkansen system down, but Osaka Station definitely taught me a lesson! I got lost as soon as I exited the subway, and we only found the hotel because my husband could read the map. I'd highly recommend taking a taxi if it's your first time in Umeda and heading to this hotel!
However, once we got our bearings, we realized the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Osaka Station is just 200 meters across the street! Hankyu Station and Umeda Station are also nearby. Within 500 meters, you'll find the Umeda shopping district: Hankyu Department Store, LUCUA, LUCUA 1100, Daimaru Department Store, Yodobashi Camera, and Hankyu Sanbangai are all in the vicinity â a shopper's paradise! The best part is the time-saving aspect; if you buy too much to carry, you can just drop it off at the hotel and head out again â plenty of time, haha.
Most importantly, it's also quite close to Universal Studios Japan. A 17-minute subway ride from Osaka Station makes it incredibly convenient.
**Service:** While I didn't find any staff who spoke Chinese, they were very friendly towards Chinese guests. My basic English was sufficient. You'll need to pay the deposit with cash or a Visa card.
**Accommodation:** Since the price is a bit higher than the Shinsaibashi area, the rooms are also larger. This is the biggest hotel room I've stayed in Japan, and the accommodation was excellent and very clean. The only downside was that the hairdryer had very weak airflow and was loud, making it a struggle to dry my hair.

Convenient walking distance to and from the Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station serving the Chuo Line [C] and Sakaisuji Line [K], makes for an easy thoroughfare to all parts of the city, Umeda, and Universal Studios, too. Great amenities are its upper floor Onsen on the 14th floor, along with the swimming pool and gym facilities for an additional (2 700„) per visit. Room size is fairly spacious for solo travelers, but opt for beds for two persons or couples. The hotel does not have laundry facilities though the nearest laundromat is about 6-blocks away. Very clean and open 24/24.
This hotel has a chapel inside on the second floor for those who are observant travelers (for Christian devotees). There are several other temples and shrines all within distance from the hotel itself. Accommodations are very good from a short stay to a business travelerâs perspective or personal experience within this part of Osakaâs financial districts. Very lovely places for returning visitors.
I had a wonderful stay at Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay. Everything about this hotel was excellentâfrom the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the high level of service provided by the staff. The facilities are well maintained, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind after a long day.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and every detail felt carefully considered. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, which truly enhanced the overall experience.
The only minor downside is that the hotel is a little far from the city center. However, transportation is still convenient, and the peaceful location can actually be a plus for guests who prefer a quieter environment away from the crowds.
It was our first time in a classic Ryokan with a traditional kaiseki dinner and it was just fantastic! Amami is a very small but beautiful place. The staff were very friendly and explained everything in detail. Kaiseki dinner was amazing! We visited in September and the dinner included seasonal persimmon. Hot spring water is really hot for my body, but over time you get used to it and it feels great. Overall our group enjoyed it very much!

The hotel view is absolutely fantastic, offering a great cityscape of Osaka. From the better room types, you get a direct view of a large area of Umeda, including the train station. The decor is European style, though it feels a bit 'knock-off' â like a fake European imitation. The details don't hold up under close inspection, and the cleanliness is noticeably not as good as in Tokyo. They're very generous with amenities, providing a lot. Breakfast is Ă la carte, suitable for those who enjoy Western breakfast; I found it pretty good, and the bread was quite tasty. There was a musty smell in the room, so overall, it didn't feel very high-end. The bedding was also quite ordinary. Its strengths are definitely the view and the value for money.

Very Good
Fantastic facilities in this hotel . Breakfast is excellent and room is very comfortable . Location is amazing just 5 minutes walk from metro and train station JR and the other metro in Osaka. The spa area is huge with lots of options of baths, sauna and steam . Check in can be done earlier but rooms are only available after 15:00. The Annex building access alley is a bit narrow and unfortunately i kicked my foot in one of the lamps located on the floor . I wish they didnât have those stupid decorations on the floor and I am certain that i am not the first one to kick those lamps . My final conclusion is if the rate is similar to other good hotels in Osaka , it is worth paying just a little bit it more to stay in spa world . Weekends rates are absurdly expensive.
Large room with unbelievable unblock view. Spacious bathroom with bathtub and shower sections. Service from hotel staff was impeccable. Namely ć°æ Kobayashi, she helped to arrange the luggage transfer to my Tokyo hotel. The hotelâs decoration is fancy and grand. Location is near subway, eateries, convenience stores etc. Unfortunately we could hear the traffic light noise from the street in the room, and the fire brigade vehicles. Overall, itâs a fantastic stay
First time to Osaka and chose this hotel for family of 4 due to the great reviews. Location is super as it is just next to Takashimaya and the subway is just right below the hotel. The room is so clean, spacious and cozy and the kids love it. Not looking back and looking forward to come back here again.
Second time staying at this hotel. Really enjoyed my last stat so decided to stay again this time. I highly recommend this hotel, close to the main station and easy to go to the airport. Hotel is clean, staff are very friendly and rooms are very spacious for two. Bathroom is a bit small, but not uncomfortable. I love this hotel.
The room we stayed in is called kamegutso (mountain view). I were a little nervous, since it was my first onsen and kaisen experience, but the staff explained everything, so everything was amazing đ

Absolutely stunning experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, the location was unbeatable, and every interaction with staff felt warm and professional. The amenities were exactly what youâd expect from a W â stylish, functional, and indulgent. We were celebrating a special occasion and the team made it feel even more memorable. Would absolutely return - this would be our second stay!

We have just completed our final day in Osaka, and our stay at your hotel has been nothing short of exceptional. The property and its facilities are outstandingâimmaculately clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The service throughout our stay has been truly impressive. I would like to especially commend the Bellman team on the 1st floor. They consistently offered assistance with genuine warmth and never hesitated to help with anything we needed. In particular, the tall gentleman from Myanmar (my apologies for not asking his name) stood out for his excellent service. Regarding check-in, although there was an initial oversight in reconfirming our booking benefits and communicating certain details, this was quickly resolved when we approached the counter again and met Kiki. He handled everything with calm professionalism and a refined, welcoming manner that reflects the standards of a luxury hotel. I would also like to highlight the Chat Service team. Before our arrival and throughout our stay, they responded promptly and efficiently through the LINE application, assisting with every requestâincluding detailed information about Osaka. Kudos to your entire Front Office team. Our afternoon tea experience, with a window seat and wonderful tea selection, was another highlight. It made our last day truly memorable. We highly recommend it to future guests. Well done to the Patina Osaka team. We will definitely return.
