Malapit lang sa vigan around 15 mins or less nasa center kana basta walang traffic, friendly ang staff, malinis, affordable, maganda view(left side mountain view then right side ocean view).
I liked the hotel, my room, and the beach was great however it had a feeling that it was descending into decrepitude.
The gym was very shabby. There was no central bar or shared lounge area to mingle (temporarily closed). To get a drink I had to go into the Chinese restaurant which was then impossible to work on my laptop with a casual drink as I had intended.
At breakfast it was quite possibly the worst coffee I've ever had and the eggs were also dubious. Toast was make your own but there was no toaster - only some grilling oven that would take 10 minutes to make your toast - less than ideal once you had already put your food on your plate....
Food is not what we expected ... like the sushi and udon its not really good taste you can taste like ginisa in there udon and the sushi they put wasabi on the bottom of it and they use normal rice so sticky ..😒
It was an overall good experience. We were greeted by all-smiling staffs. The property is very well maintained. I saw that they clean their pools everyday. Our accommodation is very clean and tidy as well. Restaurants serves variety of food on their menus from vegetables, seafood, beef to chicken. I suggest to give them a heads up on your orders to avoid the hassle of waiting. They serve the usual silog meals on their breakfast (choice of meat/fish, fried rice and egg). You just need to ask them what you need on your room and they will immediately provide. I just hope that they could have provided more things on the room as a default like water, mugs, tissue are only good for 2 person even though the room is booked for 4.
The villa where we stayed is very spacious especially the bathroom. The disappointing experience is the sudden lack of water which occured 3x during the 1 day stay, although the reception and personnel were responsive
when the problem was raised.
We absolutely loved our recent stay at Hudor Resort in Bauang, La Union! The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were especially impressed with the stunning ocean view — waking up to that scenery was truly relaxing. The place is also perfect for watching the sunset; the view in the late afternoon is absolutely beautiful.
The pool area was fantastic, great for both relaxing and enjoying the day. The restaurant food was delicious, and we truly enjoyed every meal we had there. Most of all, the staff were very nice, friendly, and accommodating, which made our stay even more special.
The only downside during our stay was that the toilet had a bit of a sewer smell at times, but it wasn’t too bad and was still tolerable.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!
There aren't many good hotels in this area, and I felt this one wasn't worth the price. The entire La Union coastline faces the South China Sea, so the waves are really strong, making it only suitable for surfing. It's definitely not the right place for snorkeling or diving. The sand on the beach isn't fine either. The section in front of the hotel was okay, but the public beach was overflowing with sewage, which was truly an eyesore.
We enjoyed our stay and loved that the resort isn’t crowded — perfect if you want a quiet and relaxing beach. The food was surprisingly good for the price and they provide free drinking water so you can just refill your tumblers. There are also nearby restaurants and tourist spots, and they can arrange a tricycle driver if you don’t have a car. The staff were very kind and even assisted us with an early checkout before their official opening time.
A few downsides: there was a bad smell in the bathroom when we arrived, no amenities were provided, and we had to request blankets. The restaurant area is also not very visible yet and seems like it’s still being improved.
Still, we had a great stay overall and would definitely return. Thank you!
Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! Balai Balatong is located inside a barangay and has kubo/hut theme with a touch of modern elegance. The rooms are well designed and are really clean.
We were lucky to book the place for our own on that day as it is a weekday for a very inexpensive price. We got the pool and entire place literally for our own for a day which is great! It could be priced double or triple for its current state of the rooms.
As the place is relatively new, just opened last 2024, there is no in house reception available. Works like an airbnb. No in house-resto yet. These two might be the reasons why they are holding on to pricing the rooms higher. Would have given them a perfect rating if these are available. There is a good restaurant though just in front of the place called Pha Ramen which is an aesthetically good restaurant serving good Pinoy dishes (and accepts credit cards).
Staffs are friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight the next day and they were able to arrange for our transfer to the airport.
We will surely come back!

FFulgencio PolThe place is new and having 3rd party listing in trip. com can get better deal, as if you just walk in will charge you their regular price very pricey as they just next to the wharf marina going to hundred Island, the room is excellent clean and had a nice size bathroom with bedit, hot water and great water pressure, firm comfortable bid and big soft pillow and heavy blanket. The staff is very helpful and polite accommodating, big size pool not heated but comfortable. I would stay this place again if ever we return to alaminos, its just sad that this war crisis is affecting the business and people livelilyhood.
GGuest UserGood -Met owners of BnB, Ice cream, bar and dining available on site (Italian / local food), good breakfast included. Air-conditioned room, phone and satellite tv (requires load by site). On site generator to support power blackouts. Nice garden like feel, gated and fenced. On site parking (minimal). Christmas lights set up for the season. New three-story expansion currently being built (but no impact to stay). Stocked in room mini bar. Shower water flow good. Nice on site pool (3-4 ft deep). Nice ocean views, Koi pond and sitting areas. Dogs and cats (3 ea) live on site.
Bad -Food order ~3 hr in advance, prices are a bit higher than normal, breakfast night before. Some items on menu not available. Room is very small mostly bed and small area to walk around. Bathroom local size challenge for larger people (toilet to wall space). Plumbing not support flushing of TP, place in holding bin. Shower heater wall switch should be labeled. Switch is in same stack of switches as bath lights. Refrigerator and mini bar stocked. (bug spray recommended for foreigners as mosquitoes can get in the room). Located on main roadway. A short drive to other things in the area. No beach (small gravel area), surf can be strong at back of property. Kayaks appeared usable but life jackets were questionable (suggest replacing) unless experienced seemed more like yard art. Amenity kit provided (bar soap was crumbled and could not be used, shampoo was barely enough for one shower (suggest abandon and provide home made or none at all).
Ugly -Local purified drinking water provided in plastic pitcher (not enough for two people per/day and no way to know where from), can ask for more but not convenient. Spouse incurred sickness from bad (other) water during stay.

GGuest UserThis is my third time staying at Aureo and I'm satisfied so far. It combines the best of a beautiful and wide natural beach with a combination of pools that will satisfy each member of the family. My only gripe is that the waste bins are too small and some toilet stalls are too tight, i.e. the door is too near the edge, which can be difficult for taller guests. Service is excellent. Congratulations to management and staff!

ZZenia MenguitaThe service and staff at this establishment go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and well-cared-for. Their accommodating nature truly stands out, making the experience pleasant and stress-free. The food they serve is not only delicious but also prepared with great consideration for individual needs. For instance, they showed remarkable thoughtfulness and support by catering specifically to my child with autism, preparing the only food he feels comfortable eating. This gesture exemplifies their dedication to providing a personalized and compassionate service.
While the facility itself is fairly standard and does not boast luxurious amenities, it is the exceptional service and genuine hospitality that make the stay memorable. The warmth and attentiveness of the staff, coupled with their willingness to go the extra mile, create a truly comforting and inclusive environment. It’s this level of care and commitment that sets them apart and leaves a lasting positive impression.

AAnonymous UserOur room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk from key attractions like flotsam jetsam and kabsat.
