Hotels With Pools in Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam

This is the only hotel I've stayed at recently that I have zero complaints about, absolutely fantastic! Facilities: The hotel amenities are great, with a gym and swimming pool, and the bedding in the room is also excellent. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a first-class 270-degree view, and it's quiet. Service: The breakfast is superb, with plenty of choices and delicious food.

I had one of the most memorable stays at “Halora Puluong Retreat”, and the experience exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The bungalows are beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and perfectly situated among the breathtaking rice terraces. The panoramic views are simply unforgettable, and waking up each morning surrounded by such peaceful and beautiful scenery was truly special. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the wonderful team. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always greeted us with genuine smiles. I would especially like to express my sincere appreciation to “Chiên”, who truly went above and beyond throughout our stay. She was incredibly kind, cheerful, professional, and dedicated to helping us with everything we needed. Her warm personality and outstanding hospitality made a real difference and left us with beautiful memories of our time here. I would also like to give a very special thank you to “Jenny”, whose energy, enthusiasm, and beautiful smile brought so much warmth to the retreat. She was always active, helpful, and full of positive energy. Her presence was truly memorable, and she seemed to be the spirit of the retreat. We sincerely appreciate everything she did for us during our stay. Her kindness and dedication made our experience even more special. A special thank you as well to the restaurant team for their excellent service. They were attentive, polite, and consistently made us feel welcome, creating a lovely dining experience throughout our stay. I only have one small suggestion that could make this already wonderful experience even better. We noticed that some male staff members occasionally smoked in the seating area near the reception. Perhaps creating a designated smoking area outside, away from the main guest areas, would be a more professional solution and would help maintain the fresh, peaceful atmosphere that makes this retreat so special. This is only a small suggestion, as overall we were extremely happy with our stay. Thank you to the entire team for everything and for creating such a beautiful and memorable experience. If you are looking for a peaceful, elegant retreat surrounded by nature and away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi, “Halora Puluong Retreat” is an excellent choice. We spent two unforgettable days here and would genuinely be happy to return again. Highly recommended! ❤️

Beautiful property surrounded by greenery with bungalows directly overlooking the terraced rice fields. Spacious and clean rooms. The staff were extremely friendly; despite a mix-up with our taxi reservation, they were very helpful and kind in helping us find a solution. The dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The village, surrounded by nature, is also beautiful.

Location was a little out of the main town (20 mins by taxi) but closer to the smaller town (10 mins by taxi) with assortment of shops shops & restaurants. Resort was. very quiet and away from the night life in town. We enjoyed the spacious room with a sea view balcony and the room was clean and air conditioned. Showers, beds were very comfortable. The resort has two main zones and a golf buggy to take you to either side (or a short walk) when required. The beach side resort has an enormous salt water pool complex suitable for kids and adults. Leading on from this pool you can step onto the beach which was quit shallow for quite a way out making for easy splashing in the surf. The other accommodation side has an indoor and outdoor pool and well equiped gym. We arrived in the off season so only one restaurant was open most of our stay - the food was of a high standard with great breakfast. Unfortunately the only bar open during our stay was the cigar bar with frequent smokers making it impossible to enjoy a quiet cocktail most of the time. Overall the stay was very nice and the staff are exceedingly friendly & helpful which made our stay all the better

This was one of the most bizarre and dystopian stays of my entire trip. Checkin and checkout were unnecessarily lengthy and frustrating experiences. Two of the restaurants were closed, spa was closed, bar was closed, and the one restaurant that was open didn't do cocktails just watermelon juice or beer. We had the private villa and pool. Room was great, spacious and comfy bed. Although much of bedroom was taken up by desk for TV which could've been wallmounted. Lovely balcony, a shame there was no seats to sit out on it. Pool was really gross and dirty when we arrived. Pool cleaner came and made it much better but still the corners of Pool floor were grimey. No furniture on pool deck either. Much of rooftop taken up by flowerbed full of dead plants. Outdoor shower was cool and beautiful lake view. Ordered ice and it took an hour and a half to get to our room even though I never saw any other guests. All the staff were pleasant and happy. Some good things, but for the price we payed it was not worth it when we compare it to other stays we've had in Vietnam.

This is a hotel, not a homestay, and the service reflected as such. Competent, efficient, adequate, but not warm. No extra effort to welcome or help me, especially when I asked for help finding a motorbike back from the Hieu Falls. They told me there would be plenty of drivers, but there were none. If you want to pay more money for a generic experience you can get anywhere else, then this is probably good for you. Otherwise, please consider supporting a local family running a homestay which has rooms likely just as nice and will treat you with real care. Yes, the infinity pool is nice, but the rice paddy is the OG infinity pool. Next time I will stay elsewhere and try to keep Pu Luong smaller, slower, and more personal.

One of the best places I’ve stayed at in Vietnam!!!! So beautifully designed, the food is amazing (try the fish in dongo leaf wowwww), service is very personal, I felt so well taken care of. Would recommend it again and again and again. I want to mention Hien who is a shining light and Duan who took me on a motorbike tour and made my day really special. Can’t wait to go back.

The accommodation is beautiful but the location is not close to the nice views, attractions or restaurants. So you rely on transportation which the hotel could make more clear. They also didn’t advertise any activities and since their English wasn’t great, you’re kind of left with organizing yourself. It was also difficult to contact them bc they’re not fast in replying to emails, there’s no WhatsApp number on their website, and I couldn’t call with my phone data package. So while the accommodation is great, and Pu Luong is incredibly beautiful, the hotel staff could be more forthcoming with customer service.

The room with a private pool and sea view was incredibly beautiful! Everything was clean, and we could also use the facilities of the main building. Everything was lovely, and the service was very good and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, but we didn't enjoy the dinner much, so we preferred to eat out in town. The burger at the hotel restaurant wasn't very tasty, but the food in town was great. It was also the off-season, and almost nothing was going on. Maybe the food is better when it's busy. The massage at the spa was superb! We booked it again right away. There isn't really a beach, just a wall with stairs through the rocks, but it was also nice just to hear the sea. The transport from Hanoi airport takes a long time, but the value for money was really very good.
