Nice location on the beach. Hotel was as described, I visited at the start of low season with very few guests in the hotel, Pool closed at 18:30 everyday, only 4 local tv stations on tv, The wifi worked well but service only in our room, A popular beach bar is attached to the hotel with a great fire show (try the fish and chips), the breakfast buffet was a good value if booked with the room, We found that going early (08:00) was the best time to hit the buffet,

Strategic place in Georgetown, nearby to most of the famous foods. Walking distance. Nearby, 5 minutes walk is a night market selling char kuey teow, satay, chicken wings and many more. Hotel is clean, staffs are friendly, able to assist in all our queries. Parking is free, just get the waiver ticket from the lobby counter. Overall great experience.

We had a relaxing and memorable stay at E&O. Our room offers a sea view which is great and feel peaceful. Although the hotel is a bit old, it’s generally well maintained. Staff are always smiling and willing to help. They provide new towels and bottled water every day. Staff service at the breakfast buffet are excellent. Sunset was beautiful.

Good hotel. Convenient location near the 1st Avenue, Perangin Mall and Komtar building. Lots of eatery but mainly non halal. The road in front of the hotel is quite busy. But overall, the hotel is very nice to stay. Didn’t manage to try all the facilities provided due to my work but the hotel room is pleasant.

Thank you Parkroyal Penang for the extraordinary hospitality with complimentary room upgraded to the Lanai Suite and delicious birthday cake. My husband really enjoyed his birthday treat. We just love everything about your resort. Everything nearby and walking distance. Your food is really good . We dine in at Cinnamon and Gustoso food is delicious. Kudos to chef and services staff too. Talking about cleanliness wow my room.is top notch clean with comfortable bed and lovely view. Really love everything about Parkroyal Penang ! Last but not least the STAFF itself who play very important role for the hotel. Even the hotel is full house they never fail to smile , chit chat and serving an excellent services to the guest They all very warm.n friendly 💐💐💐💕💕💕 Big thank you to.all.of them and tgey deserve to be rewarded accordingly ! The suite we stayed in was located at the building next to the one where the hotel lobby is. We stayed on the 7th floor but could hear the sound from the street loud and clear. Not advisable if you have babies with you. The wifi was not reliable too. The utensils and kitchenware are available upon request. There is a microwave, small fridge and coffee machine in the kitchenette.

I booked The Light after hearing the reviews from my colleagues but the service was quite a let down. I booked a deluxe king room but they gave me a double twin room and told me it was subjected to availability? They changed the room for me at last and the room was clean and the breakfast was very nice! *Gym closes at 10pm, swimming pool closes at 7pm

Stayed here one night in family suites with 2 rooms with my 2 kids, the hotel is not far from Komtar penang. Parking is not an issue even for our MPV, their rotating car park with escalator can move the car into empty slot. Check-in is fast and we stayed at level 19th with nice city and some ocean view. Room is very big with a living room, master room with big washroom and changing cabinet, and another connecting room. Wifi is fast and there are 19 tv channels to choose from. Next morning we went for their gym at level 22, not very big but good enough with 5-6 workout machines. Breakfast is at level 21 buffet styles, choice is just nice, not many but food is ok with reasonable price, only RM21 per pax.

The location of the hotel is outside the city center. Quite difficult for those who don’t have a car. However, it is easy to get a Grab. Just wait for 5 minutes to get a Grab. The breakfast is super good. Stayed there for 3 days, and the main dishes change every day. Nice and cosy place. During the stay, need to check in at the temporary office because it is under construction. The room is ok not super but but needs to be improved on the condition of the room. Overall, if you intend to stay for relaxing, this is the place.
