The spacious rooms and amazing onsen facilities were impressive, especially the private outdoor onsen in the forest, which we enjoyed in the evening when it was dark – a truly phenomenal experience. The authentic food was another highlight, beautifully presented and truly delicious. We highly recommend Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso for anyone seeking a serene and authentic Japanese onsen experience."

"This is a great place for couples and families to experience traditional Japanese architecture. The owner and his wife put their heart and soul into the B&B, and they're always happy to answer any questions. Snakes can be a problem here in the summer, but don't worry, there are plenty of cats that can fight them off—super cool! There's a direct bus service, but it's infrequent, so be mindful of the times. The onsen at the B&B are becoming less common, but if you're not bothered, you can drive to a nearby traditional hot spring bathhouse for just 150 yen."

"The room is oversized, very clean and tidy, and the electrical appliances are fully equipped. The owner of the house is very nice and will give many tips for playing on the island. The yard is equipped with a laundry room, vending machine, and hammock. There is a large parking space in front of each house, which is very suitable for self-driving tours."

The location is a bit of a walk from Yanigawa (about an 8-minute walk), but it might be good for multiple people! The location is not complicated, so you can find it easily. However, since it is outside the downtown area, there is nothing around...just another hotel or a ******** parlor! It is a bit dark, so it might be a bit scary for a woman to walk there alone. There is no convenience store nearby, so be careful! The necessary facilities and amenities are available. There were separate pajamas for top and bottom. The bath was a type without a bathtub. In terms of service, I had booked a single non-smoking room, but they upgraded me to a double room because there was a vacancy ^ ^"
