Chose to stay at the Sheraton Huzhou Taihu Lake, and it was a wonderful experience with beautiful views and a pleasant environment, perfect for a relaxing family trip. We had butler service, and our butler was incredibly attentive, following up on every detail. The service was impeccable, really top-notch! The room was very clean with excellent attention to detail, and the facilities were complete and in great condition. Highly recommend!

🏨Recommended hotel to stay in
🛏️The bed in the room allows me to have a sweet dream every night. Moreover, every detail is very thoughtful, from high-quality toiletries to thoughtful meal delivery service, which makes me feel the warmth of home.
🍽️The hotel's restaurant is even more delicious! Exquisite breakfast snacks make my life more convenient.
In general, the service, facilities and food of this hotel make me satisfied. If you also want to experience a wonderful journey, come here quickly! 😉

Location is perfect. Close to Wenzhounan station with bullet train, light rail and long distance coach under one roof. From hotel 2nd floor there is an exit that leads to the skybridge that is connected to wenzhounan. Just look for the giant figurines. From wenzhounan look for the sign ”hotels” that leads to the skybridge. Didi to hotel cost less than 20 rmb. Pls note there is a designated pick up for online car hailing service. Different floor from normal taxi.
No handsoap provided. Breakfast is great. Room is big.

For this trip to Yiwu, I chose the Shangri-La, which is super close and convenient to the International Trade City! As a long-standing five-star luxury hotel, the Shangri-La did not disappoint!
The hotel's location is truly excellent. The Yiwu International Trade City is just across the road, and there's a shopping complex right downstairs with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options – super convenient! This time, I booked a one-bedroom executive suite, considering that my child could do homework at the desk in the living room – it was the perfect choice! Check-in was smooth and quick. The front desk staff, Evelyn, added me on WeChat and told me to contact her with any questions during my stay, which was very thoughtful! We ordered takeout several times during our stay. There's a fantastic selection of delicious takeout available around the hotel, so we couldn't resist indulging in some great food in our room at night. Each time, Evelyn kindly arranged for the robot to deliver our meals to the room, which was very considerate and convenient! I just messaged her directly for anything we needed replenished in the room, and she would immediately respond and arrange it! Five-star rating!
The room was spacious, and the view from the high floor was absolutely stunning! Since it was an executive room, we also got to enjoy the executive privileges at the Horizon Club Lounge on the 37th floor. This stay was an excellent experience, and I'll definitely choose Shangri-La again if I have the chance to visit Yiwu!
I stayed at this hotel after the holidays. The decor is elegant and unique, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-lit. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, and the front desk was efficient. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Overall, I had a very satisfying experience and will definitely come back again. It offers great value for money and I would highly recommend it to friends and family. I'll be back!
The staff team do all efforts for you. The breakfast is very delicious and is very comfortable to stay there. They have an automatic room service very convenient. I recommend the hotel for business or holiday trip.

Xiao Guo at the front desk was incredibly warm and friendly. We arrived early, and she immediately helped us check in quickly. She even upgraded both our families to a suite, which was fantastic – service gets a perfect score! The suite was very spacious, and the two-meter bed was perfect for two adults and a child. The bathroom had a bathtub, and the toiletries were from Atelier Cologne, plus the toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers were all good quality. Despite being on a busy street, it was very quiet. The underground parking garage has Tesla charging stations, and remember to scan a QR code at the front desk for free parking when you leave. Breakfast is on the first floor, and the selection was quite extensive, definitely not as bad as some reviews suggested, and the taste was good too. Overall, we felt it offered excellent value for money.
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Intime Department Store and not far from Haining Museum and Ganhe Street.

When I came to Shengzhou for the first time, I decided to choose a hotel named after the place. Eat Shengzhou steamed buns and stay in a Shengzhou hotel! Overall, I feel that the hotel's health service environment is quite ok. It's just that the breakfast is a little bit disappointing.

The family room at this hotel was spacious and very clean. The service was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety of food. We appreciated the ample complimentary bottled water in the room. The location is super convenient, right outside JianGuo North Road subway station, and a taxi ride to West Lake isn't too far. There's even a fantastic little convenience store right by the hotel entrance that's well-stocked with everything, including fresh fruit. Our trip coincided with spring's blooming flowers, which made it even more pleasant.
The only downside was that the hot air conditioner, even set to 26 degrees, felt like it was blowing cold air. As someone who dislikes cold air, it was a bit uncomfortable (the outdoor temperature was between 12-20 degrees Celsius). Turning it off solved the problem and it was much quieter too.

GGuest UserMy expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular.
The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite.
The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent.
Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.
XXiaoqiqi88The environment is beautiful; you can take great photos anywhere in the hotel. The service at the front desk and restaurant was good—they were very responsive to all requests. However, the spa service was very poor and lethargic. Once I brought it up, though, they immediately improved, which shows it was an attitude problem, not a skill issue. After my treatment, they gave me a feedback form, and thinking about how hard they work, I just marked everything as very satisfied.
The room was spacious, but the sofa was uncomfortable. The pool was too small, and the jacuzzi was broken, which doesn't fit the positioning of a resort hotel.
The breakfast was delicious, with a rich variety and good flavor.
RRPSMWe had a very good stay at the Silk Commerce Clubhouse and greatly enjoyed our time in Wuzhen. The property is set slightly away from the busiest areas, which makes it peaceful and quiet. The quality of the clubhouse is exceptional—easily among the finest hotels I have stayed in worldwide. The architecture and design are a genuine work of art, spread across canals and connected by bridges. Rooms are extremely spacious, facilities are beautiful, and service is impeccable. The lounge is especially pleasant for tea or quiet activities. The included canal boat cruise and silk-related cultural activities (weaving, dyeing, appliqué) were highlights.
There are, however, two notable drawbacks. First, during winter the central climate system is locked to heating and cannot be adjusted per room. Our room was uncomfortably warm (around 24–25 °C), and the only solution was opening doors and windows to cool it manually. This is a significant comfort issue in an otherwise ultra-modern hotel. Second, due to low occupancy, breakfast was à la carte and exclusively Chinese. While well prepared, the lack of any Western breakfast options made it challenging for guests with simpler breakfast preferences.
Despite these issues, this is a remarkable property and an outstanding experience overall.
KKaren YueZhangSplendid Clubhouse is rated the topmost scenic hotel in Wuzhen, and guests are allocated a butler to assist on arrival at the ancient water town's tourist centre.
Our butler was JiaJia, a very attentive lady who got in touch with us on WeChat even before our arrival. She coordinated with our precious hotel to ensure we wouldn't get lost after reaching Wuzhen's tourist entrance.
We were brought to our hotel on a traditional river boat. Along the way we had our breath taken away by awesome views we could only once imagine.
The hotel occupies a building that was once home to a wealthy shipbuilder. His main hall is conserved as a showcase and photo site for hotel guests.
There are quiet and shaded courtyards on hotel grounds for tea, rest, and reflection.
I packed my family into a 2-bedroom unit that overlooks a public garden. I was told that this garden is covered in flowers in spring and summer. It is barren now in winter, but still pretty to me.
We got to pre-order breakfast in the hotel, as well as a room fragrance (I picked rose!).
Location is splendid. Many top food stalls and restaurants are just one either side of the hotel entrance, and one can easily get to all of Wuzhen's top sights on foot.
Be sure to eat a meal at the hotel's restaurant, where the Osmanthus roasted duck is so delicious and memorable!
CcrushaoEscaping the city hustle for a two-hour drive led me to Huzhou naked Retreats Moganshan, a top-tier resort in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region. It's the perfect place to unwind like the old money, with a weekend of pure relaxation that cures all fatigue. The century-old castle stands majestically atop Moganshan, its stone walls draped in ivy. Stepping through the door reveals cascading bamboo forests and mountains shrouded in mist. Its vintage European charm exudes understated luxury, with every detail showcasing a timeless elegance, perfectly catering to the discreet quality enjoyment favored by the discerning.
There's no need to rush. I woke up to watch the sea of clouds drift over the mountains from a lounge chair on the terrace, with mountain breezes carrying the scent of bamboo. In the afternoon, I indulged in an English afternoon tea at the castle, with delicate porcelain cups and exquisite pastries, all while gazing at the breathtaking mountain scenery from the window. Time simply seemed to slow down. As evening approached, I soaked in the cliffside infinity pool, embracing the mountains as dusk fell, washing away all traces of restlessness.
This isn't a place for quick sightseeing; it's for a pure weekend of relaxation, enjoying the slow pace of mountain life. The charm of a short getaway in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region is truly captured here – living poetically within a century-old castle, harmonizing with nature, and savoring every precious moment.

BB_inCXianhua Sandalwood International Hotel
Rating: ★★★★☆
We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay:
**Location: 浦江仙华檀宫国际度假酒店
**Check-In Experience:**
We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.
**Room Comfort:**
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:**
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:**
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.
**Room for Improvement:**
While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment.
**Final Thoughts:**
This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.
In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages.
Would we return? Absolutely!
MMabiniliuhongjiThis hotel is perfectly situated on West Street, in the heart of Wuzhen's Xizha Scenic Area (turn left out the door and you're at Zhaoming Academy, and the hotel's back entrance leads directly to the 'Longing for Life' Miguhouse). Converted from an old residence, it boasts an elegant and tranquil environment, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets, ensuring a good night's sleep. The service is incredibly thoughtful; our butler met us at the parking lot outside the scenic area, helped us with parking and entry procedures, and meticulously explained the attractions and activities within the area. Since we were staying for two nights, they arranged for us to experience breakfast both at the hotel and at a local tea house. While some of the hotel's facilities show their age, the full Kohler bathroom fixtures are exceptionally well-maintained, indicating a significant investment during its original renovation. This hotel is ideal for those looking to experience the leisurely pace of life in Wuzhen.
GGuest UserMy stay at the Grand Hyatt Hangzhou was absolutely stunning, definitely a five-star experience! The hotel's location is impeccable, directly facing the core area of West Lake. It's just a few minutes' walk to the lakeside, making early morning and evening strolls incredibly pleasant. The room design is grand and elegant, and some room types even offer direct views of West Lake, providing an expansive and truly delightful panorama. Service met international brand standards, with professional and warm assistance from the front desk reception to housekeeping. Their attention to detail made me feel truly valued. Dining was also a highlight; the breakfast offered a wide variety of high-quality options, and enjoying a meal while admiring the West Lake views was a major bonus. Overall, whether it's the location, views, service, or quality, this hotel sets the benchmark among Hangzhou hotels. It's perfect for a vacation or a high-quality trip, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hangzhou!
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient, the room is clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable. Camellia's service was warm and attentive, and check-in was quick. The facilities are complete and the soundproofing is excellent, making for a very peaceful stay. It's fantastic value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit. Highly recommended!
{{summer}Traveling during off-peak season is truly wonderful – no traffic jams and no waiting in line to check in at the hotel. Luna was incredibly thoughtful; she proactively added me on WeChat as a concierge, so I could contact her directly with any questions. Even late at night, she'd see my messages and reply promptly.
The hotel's breakfast was exceptionally generous. The handmade roujiamo (meat burger) was freshly prepared, and with one bite of the pan-fried buns, they burst with savory soup – absolutely delicious. We stayed in a lake-view room, and opening the balcony door revealed a stunning view, making us feel like we were in a natural oxygen bar. The cherry blossom trail was also breathtakingly beautiful, making us want to linger.
We also got the 5 travel photos included in our package, and I even did the Baduanjin (Eight-Section Brocade) exercise twice at 9 AM. Of course, we didn't miss out on the hotel pool either. All in all, it was a truly worthwhile trip.
