"Great service. Lovely staff. Fortunate that it is located at one end of Malioboro. Makes commuting in and out a lot easier given how crowded the street gets everyday.
Love that my floor has 2 water purifier for guests to fill their water bottles. Great for the environment.
Only complaint is the light of the fridge with a glass door, remains on even when the door is closed. Only way to switch off the light is to pull out the plug, which means I can't chill my drinks."

"The location is excellent, right near the bustling Malioboro Street. The room cleanliness could be a bit better, though it wasn't a major issue for me. Also, the Wi-Fi didn't reach the room, and the shower water kept turning cold. Definitely bring your own toilet paper as there wasn't any provided! The staff were bright and friendly, leaving a very good impression. Overall, it's a good place to stay for a casual night or two, and I'd recommend it unless you're extremely particular about cleanliness."

"I expected a neat new feel in the picture, but there were quite a few drawbacks in many ways.
There were some ants in the room, and the toilet looked stiff because the paint was peeled off.
There is no double lock on the door, so it's a structure that can be opened and entered at any time with a master key outside.
There is no toilet paper hanger or toilet paper in the bathroom, and the bathroom window is open to the corridor, so the sound can be heard in the corridor. And smoking is allowed in the corridor, so the smell of cigarettes comes in through the bathroom window.
It's not an open and closed window, it's just open.
The newly extended room was in better condition, but there were still ants.
You can play for free in the public space. Parking security staff is really friendly."

"The room we booked was for four people. The rooms are in a backyard and are basically outside. The room was not as in the picture: there was one bunkbed and two mattresses were on the floor. The AC worked fine, but the room did not have an own toilet, so we had to go to the common toilets/shower rooms, which were full of mosquitos. The host was very kind and provided us with mosquito insecticide, and he helped us close off the room to the outside, because the window was not really a window but rather a hole. To stay cheaply and only sleep there , it is fine, but it definitely has a rugged feel to it."

"Solo traveler here. 10/10 Super strategic location. Less than 10 minutes walk away from the train station, and it’s right next to the main Malioboro walking street. The pods are very spacious, bright and clean, the air doesn’t feel stuffy. The only downside is there was no lock on the main door, and you can only lock your pod door from the inside, so when I was out, I was constantly worried about my belongings; WiFi is only available at the lobby, no WiFi in the rooms.
Staffs were helpful and lovely, would recommend staying here for solo travelers."

"I don't usually post reviews, but I had such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share it.
In short, I highly recommend this place.
I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip to Yogyakarta.
The staff are incredibly kind. Many Indonesian guests stay here, so I had some great conversations and even shared cigarettes with them, which made for a really good experience.
The room was also clean. At night, the surroundings are quiet. If you're in the lobby, the staff will chat with you after their shifts, which is fun.
They also offer food that's freshly prepared in the kitchen, and it's both cheap and delicious.
As for the bed, it's comparable to what you'd find in a business hotel in Japan. The shower room is spacious, like a separate room within the main room, which is quite unique compared to other hotels. It's much better than the common unit baths where the floor gets soaking wet, so I really liked it.
Regarding the location, it takes about 25 minutes to walk to Yogyakarta Station, but Lempuyangan Station is just a 5-minute walk away. So, if you're energetic, you can walk to the city center; otherwise, use Grab or Gojek for a quick ride, or take the train if you want to save money.
The only downsides are that there's a mosque next door, so the call to prayer blasts loudly at 4 AM. But if you're sleepy, you'll fall right back asleep, so it wasn't a problem for me, haha. Also, if you leave the shower room door open, mosquitoes sometimes get in.

・Those somewhat accustomed to international travel (especially in Southeast Asia).
・Those who don't want a dormitory but prefer a homelike, slightly local hotel (many Indonesian guests stay here).
It's not like a backpacker hostel, so it strikes a good balance.
・Solo travelers.

・Those seeking a luxury hotel.
・First-time international travelers (however, if you can speak English or are okay with a certain level of cleanliness, it should be fine).
・Those who want immediate access to Malioboro Street.

FILATOV TRAVELМне понравился отель, что есть и общие номера и отдельные. Я жил в отдельном на 2 этаже. Кондиционер работал исправно. Вода горячая - кипяток. Интернет бесплатный. Зубная паста, щётка и полотенце. Отлично расположен - рядом Ж.Д. станция.

Sarah :)The guesthouse is beautiful and the room was very spacious. I think that it looks better in real life than in the photos. We had a few mosquito bites, but that's probably bad luck. The only negative side is that the bathroom doesn't have ventilation, so it stinks. The common shared area is very large, they have a couple of big living rooms and two massive kitchens.

The service is good, but we didn't put the sign ” Make up my room ” but the staff enter the room without our consent. We didn't request any new towels or whatever. And the toilet window style, a bit less privacy. We can see who in the toilet haha, we had to turn off the light for privacy. But if they were spouse maybe it's not a big deal. Overall, clean, comfort and nice place to stay!

Excellent inexpensive hotel. Clean, there is Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning. Attention - there is no hot water. But in general the water in the shower is warm, both at night and during the day. - heat. Location - 4 minutes to the main street along a quiet narrow alley without cars, it is very convenient. They helped to find a driver who took us to Borobudur and Prambanan. The room is small. But the price is very small. The staff is nice and friendly. Every morning they bring a cup of tea to each room) there is no shampoo, but a small soap will be waiting in the room. For this little money - the hotel is excellent
