Great location! You can walk to all sorts of little shops. The rooftop terrace has an amazing night view, you can see the whole of Kathmandu. We even caught the Tihar festival, it was so lively! The staff were really welcoming too.

The room was good and tidy. But the bathroom was poor, the bathtub had stains, water pressure was very low, you will struggle to get water from the shower head if held above knee height. Bathroom window strangely set denying privacy. The room was sizable and tidy. The fridge was loud and I had to switch it off at night. The location is great near the embassies and walkable tourist sites nearby. Very helpful staff.

Very clean and modern hotel, with friendly staff and manager who are flexible and kind in arrangements. Room facilities are new and clean, bed is comfortable. Location is very good in Thamel, with nearby currency exchange and good food. Even provided us with transportation to the airport. Chinese cuisine on the 2nd floor is authentic with good portions. The hotel staff is very courteous and the food at the hotel is delicious. It's located very close to Lord Pashupatinath temple, hardly 5 minutes walking distance. Very close to the airport as well.

The room is very spacious, but the gym equipment is not in good working condition. As for the bathroom, I would like to point out that the towels are quite rough in texture.

Hotel dom Himalaya in center city of Kathmandu, big room and clean , quiet and breakfest every morning , the staff very helpful exactly the receptionist ARPANA always smiling and speaking good English. I recommend this hotel.

The skyline restaurant is the best at sunset in this hotel. They have a transparent glass floor to watch everything under your feet. Many locals also get dressed up and come here to enjoy the million-dollar-worthy sight. You can also enjoy the buffet breakfast at the same restaurant if staying here. I used the swimming pool and sauna on 9 floor. The staff there are very attentive and friendly. Feel like a queen being there! The room is super clean and smell nice! I am amazed by the A.C. System. Believe me that’s very rare to find in Kathmandu! All is very good from the beginning of check-in and till the end. They have free drop-off transportation to airport. So I would highly recommend to book the last nights in Nepal and enjoy a relaxing evening of here!

A most excellent stay at Aloft - great, friendly staff and a location that puts you in the middle of Thamel for shopping or laundry after a trek. I must say that I had one of my best sleep in any hotel at Aloft! Can’t really explain it because I am extremely picky with pillow, room temperature etc. But it just worked so well for me! I will look forward to returning for my next trip back to Nepal!

Clean. Nice selection of breakfast. The concierge was professional and helpful. The valet staff was very helpful with the taxis. The reception desk staff was not quite familiar with his work. 1. Couldn’t find my booking. 2. Miscalculated the number of nights to stay 3. Didn’t realize the room was prepaid and was going to charge again. But he acknowledged his mistakes.

cozy room, bed was big and clean. very spacious room. clean swimming pool. foods were great at the restaurant.
