Subject: Feedback on Staff Training and Late Check-out Protocol
We are frequent Savoy guests. Our check-in was excellent (paid early check-in at 7:00 AM, room upgrade, and confirmed late check-out until 3:00 PM by Vanie).
However, on the day of departure, we were repeatedly called at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM by a different front desk officer, who disputed the confirmed 3:00 PM check-out time. This staff member demonstrated a severe lack of coordination, empathy, and professionalism, attempting to bargain and failing to honor a promise made by a colleague due to a system oversight.
Recommendation: Staff require urgent refresher training on communication, coordination, and emotional intelligence.
Minor Feedback: The lobby scent is still bothersome and does not mask the surrounding drainage odor. Please consider a clean, refreshing scent like peppermint or eucalyptus.
The staff in front desk very politely in answering our enquiries, hotel location closed to terminal 2 airport just 5 minutes walking distance.
Overall very convenient to everywhere, will come back .
The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, and the staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. The amenities and buffet breakfast offer good value for money, though both the elevator wait times and buffet lines can get quite long, especially during peak periods like our check-in on December 24. Despite these minor inconveniences, our overall experience was very positive and I would highly recommend this hotel. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer complimentary connecting rooms for guests who book multiple rooms, as this option is not currently available on popular booking platforms like Trip or Agoda. This would make family or group stays much more convenient.
Overall, we had a wonderful time. The restaurant though is not that big to accommodate the hotel guests during breakfasf time, so if you go there around 7am or later, you may have to line up and wait for a long time.
The hotel is conveniently located about 20 minutes from the airport and offers shuttle service, which needs to be booked in advance. It's quite noisy at night due to its proximity to the main road, especially with the sound of motorbikes. I'd recommend requesting a room on the other side, away from the road. Breakfast is served on the 8th floor, but there are only about three or four dishes to choose from.
The place is clean and quiet. They changed the linens and clean the room for you everyday if you'll stay for at least 2 nights. Convenient place to stay. Breakfast is fine. It's worth it and budget friendly.
Staff: Wonderful hotel with professional staff. My booking was originally a king size bed but I requested a twin. They did everything to met my needs.
After a long flight I wasn’t in my best mood and they did understand and deal with me with respect and understanding.
Room: simply wonderful as usual.. this is my fourth or fifth stay and I’M will be always my home in Manila.
I recently stayed at Lime Hotel Manila and booked the Deluxe Twin room with a Seascape View. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
The cleanliness of the room was impressive—the linens were fresh, the bathroom was spotless, and everything felt well-maintained. The location is another major highlight, with easy access to nearby attractions and great views of Manila Bay, especially from the seascape-facing rooms.
However, there is room for improvement in terms of staff service. While the team was generally polite, I felt the service could be more engaging and welcoming. A little more warmth and attentiveness would have enhanced the overall guest experience.
Despite that, Lime Hotel Manila offers great value, especially for travelers looking for clean, comfortable accommodations in a convenient location. The seascape view alone makes it worth considering.
I recently stayed at this hotel and found the overall experience to be mixed. The room itself was decent, and the staff were accommodating and polite whenever I interacted with them. However, there were several issues that made the stay less comfortable.
First, the shower area does not have a glass door or divider, which causes water to flood into the bathroom and reach the sink area every time you shower. It’s inconvenient and makes the bathroom messy and slippery. Second, while the room has a cabinet, there were no hangers provided at all, which was surprising. The location is greta though, few meters walk to starbucks and some good restaurants.
The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping service. I had to ask the front desk twice around 1:00 PM to have my room cleaned. When I returned an hour later, the room was still not done.
Overall, while the staff are friendly and the room is okay for a short stay, the lack of attention to detail and the slow service are things the hotel definitely needs to improve.
Our stay was nice overall, but the streets outside were a bit rough. The lift wasn’t working, though the staff were very helpful and carried our luggage upstairs. They were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were okay although we did spot a lizard when we first arrived. The stairs felt a bit unsafe, and I almost slipped near the top. I wouldn’t recommend this place for children under 5, as the stairs could be dangerous, and there are gaps at the top where little ones could potentially fall. Unfortunately, the tap was extremely dirty, so dirty it made us not even want to stay and the shower water was slimy.

MMaria ChristinaMy family stay here is exceptional. Rooms are fully equipped from kitchen to rooms. Modern interiors are impressive. Staffs are so warm and amenities are extensive. Property is located in prime location too. The experience we got here is beyond our expectations and the value of what we pay for it. We will surely go back alpha suite :)

WWhyhI had a wonderful five‑night stay at Makati Diamond Residences, where the service stood out for being consistently attentive and professional, making me feel well taken care of throughout. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after busy days. Its prime location in the heart of Makati made it easy to access shopping, dining, and business areas, which added great convenience to my trip. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience that combined excellent hospitality with comfort and accessibility.

PPrincess PeaI book this hotel after landing in Manila and discovering the roads were flooded and I was stuck near the airport. Even with the last-minute booking, my check-in was fast and smooth. The second I walked into the room. I felt an ease wash over me. I am a pretty light packer, but there was still plenty of room for all of my things where I could easily live out of my suitcase or unpack, and really settle in if I chose. The room was absolutely perfect. The bed was a large, clean and comfy. The bathroom was large, clean and came with all the amenities anyone would need.
The hotel in general is absolutely beautiful. All types of food and drinks are served or delivered to your room 24/7. The hotel has their own bars and restaurants and a lovely lobby area where you can sit and work or just relax The only thing that comes close to being better then the aesthetic of the hotel is the customer service (it IS a Marriott after all).
The hotel has a lot of amenities to offer, including a pool, a spa and a gym (none of which I had the time to experience during my short stay). The buffet breakfast was really nice. It has local and international foods for all taste buds. (I highly recommend the guava jam.) the hotel is also connected to a casino and a mall. There are additional restaurants and stores outside of the hotel all in walking distance.
If you ever have the chance, I would highly recommend staying at the Marriott on purpose…It’s also a WONDERFUL place to be “stuck”.
GGuest UserStayed for 4 nights over the past weekend. The connection to Ayala Mall is a plus point. The service of the restaurant staff must be commended.
One of the day, the room was not cleaned up. Another day, a wet bathroom mat was placed on the sofa (yekks). The eco-green card that i placed on my sheets went missing.
There is a musky smell in the corridor on some levels, esp. L5, where it is connected to the pool. Additionally, there is a sewage smell emanating from a corner of the family room.
The soundproofing of the window and door is not good, I can hear noise from the corridor and from the swimming pool.
The breakfast is good, with a reasonable selection, albeit not much change over the days.
AAnonymous UserThe place is clean and the staff were very nice. All the hotel staff we met greeted us warmly, making us feel really welcome. We checked out the bar on the 22nd floor and enjoyed the live band performance. Plus, they gave us a 10% discount as in-house guests. It was my husband's birthday, and the band even sang the birthday song - such a nice touch! The staff also wished him well, which made the stay even more special. They also provide shuttle as long as it is in Alabang area
We really enjoyed our stay, thanks!
KKSENIIA ABEIDULINABest choice to stayed at this hotel. It's conveniently located near the airport and the largest shopping mall, the Mall of Aysha. The rooms are small but very comfortable, and most importantly, the hotel has an amazing rooftop. There's a swimming pool and plenty of outdoor chill areas. I always recommend this hotel to my friends!
