I have purchased this airport express train ticket from Taiyuan airport to taipei main station many times. It is seamlessly redemn and do safe keep the same token when you exit taipei main station. Always take the purple line car which is mean for express service. It just takes 36 min only

Getting around Taiwan is so much easier with an EasyCard! It was super easy to buy and sooo convenient to use. I got my Hello Kitty card at the airport and started using it right away. 🎀 You can use it to: 🚇 Pay for MRT rides and buses. 🚆 Use some local trains. 🏪 Pay at convenience stores like 7-Eleven and FamilyMart. 🚲 Rent YouBike bicycles (with the required registration). You can top it up at MRT stations and convenience stores whenever your balance runs low. My tip: Get one as soon as you arrive at the airport. No need to buy separate tickets for every ride — just tap and go! Small card, big help! 💗

Taking the Taiwan High Speed Rail was definitely one of the best transportation decisions for my Taiwan trip! I purchased the ticket to travel from Taipei to Chiayi because I wanted to visit Alishan and experience the famous Alishan Forest Railway. The journey was surprisingly smooth, comfortable and much faster than travelling by conventional train. Instead of spending several hours on the road, I could reach Chiayi conveniently and continue my journey towards Alishan. For travellers with limited time in Taiwan, I would definitely recommend considering the high-speed rail. It makes travelling between major cities so much easier!

I bought a Fun Pass, but the biggest regret was that the museums were closed on Mondays… Don't try to do everything in one day; I recommend getting a 2-day or 3-day pass to get around. I got my money's worth since I bought the 1-day tickets with a buy-one-get-one-free offer, but otherwise, it probably would have been cheaper to just buy tickets separately.

I purchased a 48-hour pass for a 2-night, 3-day trip. I initially canceled my purchase because I picked it up at the wrong terminal at the airport, but the process was very smooth and I was glad. I also purchased it after arriving in Taiwan, and that was also fine. Of course, I was able to complete the purchase process in Japanese, which was very helpful. I ended up carrying two cards: one for round trip from the airport to Taipei Station and one for the MRT free pass. It would be even better if it could be done with just one card. It saved me the trouble of buying a ticket every time I rode the MRT, and I felt at ease knowing I could use it without worrying about money.
