I had the most amazing driver on this experience. I would definitely book again. He was so professional nice major was comfortable my whole ride, even though he didn’t speak English that was no problem. We even got tea because when you go on the Great Wall on Friday, they do free tea tasting and that was amazing and then afterwards we did a fruit stop and the Great Wall itself was a beautiful experience as well.

What a wonderful day! A huge thank you to our driver, Liu Yuling, who called us the night before to suggest departure times. She arrived early on the day of departure, and the car was impeccably clean and tidy. Her driving was smooth and efficient. Ms. Liu patiently explained everything and offered helpful suggestions throughout the day, making our trip incredibly smooth and worry-free. We and our two children had a wonderful time. The tour guide provided detailed explanations throughout the trip and even offered helpful suggestions on energy-saving routes and cable car options. There were no shopping stops or forced spending, allowing ample time for independent exploration of the Great Wall. The scenery at Mutianyu is expansive and perfect for taking photos. It was a fantastic day! The driver contacted us the day before to arrange the departure time for the next day, and he was waiting for us downstairs at the hotel on time, even well before! The car was spotless, and we had a great time chatting all the way to Mutianyu. The entire trip took about six hours. On the way back, we stopped by the Bird's Nest and Water Cube, and at our request, he even took us to Shichahai to end the trip.

Alice was our guide. The trip went super smooth. She advices to go early to skip ques and have better views. We actually had no lines when we reached and it was super quick to reach on top. Unfortunately it was foggy and drizzling so we did not have very good views. We could not also use the slide due to the rain. But it looked like an amazing thing to do. By the time we left, it was already getting crowded. Alice took many pictures for us and it was good to have her explain the history of the wall.
