We are so lucky to have Lilia as our tour guide. She is punctual, funny, knowledgeable and efficient. The flow of the whole trip was very well thought out. Entries to all 3 sites we visited were a breeze. We are very impressed at how fast and smooth to get in Tiananmen Square and The Palace of Museum We are talking about minutes here. Lilia is very knowledgeable and she took the time to explain the history of the architecture and how the past rituals of the emperors shaped the design of the Temple of Heaven and The Palace of Museum. She is like a human history encyclopedia! We are very pleased to have chosen Leo’s private tour and to have Lilia as our guide. She also shared some good tips with us when we told her we will be going to the Summer Palace by ourselves the next day. Also, if you want to take some good photos, you need to go with Lilia as she knows all the good photo spots.

If you decide to go without a tour, you should definitely do two things: be prepared for a long line and study information about the place in advance to understand the full scale 🤲 So take a tour to avoid all this 😅 And, of course, visiting Beijing and not visiting the Forbidden City is strange 😑
