ID requirements for booking
· Chinese mainland citizens: Please use your ID card to purchase tickets and enter.
Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan residents: Please use your mainland travel permit for Hong Kong and Macau residents, mainland travel permit for Taiwan residents, or residence permit for Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan residents for ticket purchase and park entry.
· Foreign travelers: Please make reservations using a passport or PRC foreign permanent resident ID card.
Child ticket application rules
· The child ticket for this product is applicable to Chinese citizens under 18 years old (including residents of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan).
Important notice: Foreign children are not eligible for child ticket deals and must be booked at adult rates.
· Error correction mechanism: If a booking is mistakenly made for a foreign child by selecting "child", a price difference (20 CNY/person) must be paid after the ticket is issued successfully.
Notice on admission times for the Palace Museum
To provide a better visiting experience, the Palace Museum implements real-name verification with time-slot ticket checks. Please plan your itinerary in advance and enter during your purchased admission ticket time slot.
· Morning session: Admission hours are from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
· Afternoon session: Admission hours are from 11:00 AM until the latest entry time.
· Last admission time (all visitors must enter before this time):
· Peak season (April 1–October 31): 4:00 PM
· Off-peak season (November 1–March 31): 3:30 PM
