Nice guide and everything went smoothly according to itinerary description. Be careful with the boat photographer in tam coc! They are quite penetrant with selling their photo shots. They take photos even without consent anyway. If you would buy pictures, make sure to hand the exact price, otherwise they refuse to give change and would give additional photos as alternative (they strategically keep some in case tourists don't have the exact amount). Tour guide wasn't there at that time as he was joining another group who booked an additional activity. So, it was all by ourselves in tam coc.★

Overall a really satisfying day trip. The group was small, which made it easy to bond with the other travelers — much more personal than a big bus tour. The boat ride through the river was the highlight: stunning scenery, one of the best moments of my whole Vietnam trip. The biking portion was fine, nothing special, but not a downside either. Genuinely surprised by how good the buffet lunch was — didn’t expect that level of quality on a day tour. Highly recommend, especially if you’re traveling solo and want an easy way to meet people.
