There was a small issue with the booking: after arriving at Rassada Pier, we were supposed to go to the Mai Khao Beach area, which is not covered by the free transfers. We paid extra for a transfer from Rassada to our hotel in Mai Khao and waited a very long time for the car. It was also difficult to communicate. But, in the end, everything was resolved smoothly. The excellent driver took us to the hotel very professionally and quickly. There were no issues with the ferry at all – everything was on schedule. Very comfortable.

I made a reservation because I heard there is a sanctuary that rescues and protects abused elephants. Although there are places where you can bathe the elephants, I booked this place knowing that bathing them multiple times a day at fixed times is stressful for them. It was a healing time walking with the elephants in their natural environment, listening to their stories, and experiencing their natural beauty. The elephants' stories broke my heart. It was also very painful to see the scars on their bodies still remaining. I heard that there are still many abused elephants, and I hope they can all be rescued like this and live freely. I would recommend this place to anyone planning to visit an elephant sanctuary in the future. The pickup service was also great.


