Haiyang County Confucianism Palace, commonly known as Xue Palace, is located at the west end of Changli Road in Chaozhou City. According to Qianlong's "Chaozhou Fuzhi" in the Qing Dynasty, the county Confucianism Palace "used to govern the west side of the county to learn right". During the Shaoxing period of the Song Dynasty (1100), the county magistrate Chen Tan moved to Jinfang (the present site). Since then, there have been many additions and repairs in successive dynasties, making Haiyang County School Palace a large-scale and well-preserved ancient building complex. However, due to historical changes, the existing area of the school is only 4,000 square meters. Dacheng Hall is the main building of Haiyang County School Palace. It still retains the architectural customs of the Ming Dynasty well. It has double eaves and rests on the top of the mountain, five rooms wide in the west and four rooms in the depth.
