"Everything is super! Very nice and pleasant host and host! Very delicious cooking! They had dinner more delicious than the bottom of the restaurant, so bold you can stay there, and also with the best view to the city! In the room everything is perfectly new, beautiful. I only had a pillow high, but it's individual. The main thing, when you get to the hotel upstairs, make the right choice of the right turn. There is a pointer. Search it. We looked at it and drove into a deadlock. The local passer had to save us 😅 we were on the big car Kia Sorento. This slightly added difficulties due to narrow visible streets, but in general it is possible to drive. The young guys met us, parked right at the entrance and helped with the suitcases. Thank you! Recommend 😍"

Hotel located in the heart of old Gjirokastër. They upgraded my room free of charge and lent me the phone charging cable I had forgotten. The Google Maps directions are somewhat confusing; it's best to ask for directions once you're in the old town. It's a well-known hotel. The staff is friendly. Breakfast wasn't ready on time, so I had to leave without eating because there was nothing prepared. I suppose it was because it was a quiet day and they didn't expect a guest to want breakfast as soon as the dining room theoretically opened. I left without breakfast and without coffee.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting. A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!

The restaurant was closed the first night and they changed our room from one big bed to 5 kids beds which was odd. The two tvs are pointless, no channels and doesn't allow Netflix or any streaming services. Staff was nice and the breakfast was great. They offer some fun outdoor activities also. I'd stay again but they should upgrade the TV's.

Very pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.

We loved this place! The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated and the water pressure and temperature were good. I was pleased that they provided memory foam pillows.
