Guest UserThe hotel itself was fine, aside from the lack of bottled water, luggage racks, and absolutely no toiletries – everything else was normal. However, their parking lot is a huge problem. Firstly, guests aren't told in advance that parking requires a reservation. Secondly, I'm not sure if their drop-off point is only for disabled people or what, but there's a 'no entry' sign at what looks like a drop-off entrance. Thirdly, even if you don't have a reservation and the car park is fully booked, the gate will still open. But if you don't pay 60 pounds, the car park attendant will make it difficult for you to leave, even if the hotel reception has already entered your license plate to give you 1 or 4 hours free and told you to move your car to an open-air car park about a 15-minute walk away. In the end, several guests were in the same situation, blocking the car park exit. The first guest had to go back to the hotel to grab a receptionist and bring them to the car park entrance to negotiate with the car park staff for half an hour before they finally opened the gate and let people leave.

Guest UserEnjoyed our 1 night stay for work/pleasure. The hotel is in a great location 10mins walk from Piccadilly station and 5 mins to the well connected tram. We paid extra for the breakfast which was very nice, the breakfast staff are lovely and attentive with anything you need. The hotel and room was clean but the Tv remote was really dirty which was strange to miss such a detail. The young lady on check in (blonde) was really kind, helpful, friendly and patient since I was checking in alone with my toddler to start with whilst my husband worked. I got a complimentary birthday drink which was nice. The young lady on check out (black/dark hair) was not so friendly or patient, quite a stern attitude, did not smile or acknowledge us ever when passing in and out of reception. Our baby came down sick in the night and we were running 15-20mins behind the 11am checkout, settling and getting him ready so we called down with a heads up and she said no, not possible, the cleaners will be knocking on your door at 11am. It was just the handling of it and the manner.

Guest UserVery nice hotel, clean and spacious rooms.
We went into cloud 23 and two cocktails will cost you about £30, which were very well presented.
The rooms have everything in you need, including an iron.
A night here would make a great Christmas present.
We had our dinner the ground floor bar area, that cost about £56 with a drink each included, are we both enjoyed it
Holistically the staff were helpful.
We will be returning in the future and would recommend it to others

Guest UserThere is a direct bus to hotel from airport and a bus stop at 10 mins away from hotel back to airport.
The walls have no stains which is nice and the bathroom is clean and tidy but the bed linen has quite a lot of stains. Some dust also appeared on the pillow and it is actually hard to spot them because of the dim lighting. The water pump is also working fine. The staff are super friendly when I forgot to bring a plug and realised that there is no USB charge spot.

C SpeirsThis was in the perfect location, staff were great and room facilities were fab!. I didn’t realise the hall light had a sensor and no off switch, so when I had the bedroom door open and turned over in bed, the light would come back on 😂 easily fixed by closing the door. It didn’t affect our stay and we would definitely be back…it’s a busy place, it’s in the city centre so to be expected. Yes there was a charge for parking but not overbearing. Only negative was that the curtains didn’t fit the full windows so light shining in made it difficult to sleep, bed was so comfy though 😴

The room is clean and comfortable, with lots of space to store luggage and stuff. I was quite surprised to see the coffee maker and refrigerator inside the room. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and the staff is friendly. The location is opposite to China Town with lots of nice restaurants for dinning. The only thing that could be improved is that room cleaning starts too early - at 9:00 am that I was woken up by the doorbell.

Stevie Boy59Not the easiest place to find, especially when you are flying in late at night. Whilst this is due largely to the Terminal 2 redevelopment the hotel needs to do more with its signage!
As its name suggests it is a budget hotel, basic and very standardised.
However clean and staff pleasant and efficient.

Nora.mjI booked the windowless room because it was the cheapest option. This hotel truly has no views, so I figured a windowless room was actually better. However, if you're sensitive to ventilation issues, I recommend booking a room with a window.
There's no air conditioning or refrigerator (which seems to be standard for mid-range hotels in the UK). No breakfast either. I noticed the name was similar to the Britannia Manchester Hotel nearby and wondered if they were the same company; it seems they are, as the amenities are identical and the furniture and lighting are similar. However, the bathroom here is a bit more modern, and it has a shower hose.
Wi-Fi is free, I'm not sure why Trip.com states it's paid. You just need to log in with your email. I came to drop off my luggage before check-in, and since it was a weekday morning, they kindly gave me an early check-in for free, which I really appreciated.
If you don't need air conditioning, this is the most recommended budget-friendly hotel in Manchester near Piccadilly Gardens.

LuotuoThe hotel building boasts a grand and impressive Victorian exterior. Apparently, it opened in 1857, making it nearly 170 years old. Its location is superb, with a bus stop just over 100 meters away. As my friend put it, ”It's right in the absolute city center.” However, once inside the single room, the interior decor and amenities could only be described as simple. For instance, there's an approximately 28-inch Samsung TV mounted diagonally on the wall above a small desk, and the bathroom's rinse cup is inverted on the flat surface in front of the mirror, without even a tray or coaster underneath. The hotel restaurant is in the basement.

Guest UserThis hotel is in a great loacation, around a 10 minute walk from Oxford Road Station and about 15 from the gig we came to see. The lady at reception was very polite and friendly which made us feel welcome even though two young goths looked a bit out of place seeing as this was obviously a hotel for business people/confrences. The room was amazing for the price and beautifully clean, there was an iron and ironing board, a desk fan and a hairdryer already in the room. The bathroom was quite spacious and had perfect lighting. Even my fussy partner said the bed was very comfortable. Would absolutely reccomend and will definitely be staying again if I'm back in Manchester.
