This is an older, well-established hotel that is impeccably maintained. It's just a few minutes' walk from the station. The rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards, and the pricing is reasonable outside of peak season. The breakfast is decent, if not exceptional. I would recommend staying here.

The hotel's large public bath is incredibly spacious with superb views! For dinner, even though we didn't opt for the most expensive lobster set, we still had abalone, sashimi, and more. The portion sizes and quality were already excellent! There's a free shuttle bus to Kashikojima Station, but it's actually only a ten-minute walk (though there's an incline).

True to its five-star rating, the service was attentive and the facilities were comfortable. The breakfast was lavish, and the dining environment was elegant. The Pearl hot spring was a unique highlight. Overall, I was very satisfied and will definitely choose to stay here again.

All the staff except for the front desk staff were foreigners, but they all spoke excellent Japanese and provided friendly and polite service. After dinner, I went to the bath. The hot water in the washing area gradually cooled down as I used it, and eventually stopped flowing altogether, so I quickly warmed up in the bathtub. There was no hot water for rinsing off when I got out, which made me quite cold. In the washing area, another guest asked me, ”There's no hot water, is there? The bath in my room doesn't have hot water either, and when I contacted the front desk, they told me to use the public bath...” So, I wonder if it's a problem with the facilities? Incidentally, my husband, who bathed before dinner, said the men's bath was fine.

We used this hotel as a family celebration trip. The facilities were beautiful and lovely, but what really impressed us was the warm and wonderful service from the staff. Due to the earthquake in Russia, trains were stopped and we had no means of transportation, but they extended our check-out time and were very accommodating. The food was delicious, and each dish was carefully prepared. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with so many options, including Japanese and Western cuisine, that we couldn't finish it all. We signed up for morning yoga, and started the morning off right in the open space surrounded by greenery on the property, listening to the birds chirping and feeling the breeze, which was a wonderful way to start the day. Next time we visit, we'd like to enjoy a cruise or something similar.

A perfect experience! The room was huge, and you absolutely *must* book an ocean view room! The entire resort is beautiful, and dinner was delicious too 😋 [New Year's Sale 2026] [Limited Time Offer] French Full Course ”Harmony” Dinner Plan (with Japanese Lobster + Fillet Mignon): Huge thanks to the restaurant for their warm service. We had our Chinese New Year's Eve dinner here and were so happy! 🥳

The hotel is well maintained. The room is probably the largest I've stayed in Japan. You can see the beautiful view of Ago Bay when you enter the room. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. At the same time, the hotel has a car to pick up to the other main building at any time. The sky garden has a check-in point for the 2016 G7 Summit, and the scenery is no less beautiful than the view from the Yokoyama Observatory. The breakfast is rich, with Western buffet and Japanese set meals to choose from, and the taste is very good. There is a scheduled shuttle bus from Kashikojima Station to the hotel. If you are late, you can also call the hotel to pick you up at the station. The service is really considerate. It is difficult to find a restaurant open after 5 o'clock near Kashikojima Station. It is recommended to make a reservation for dinner at the hotel. I will stay here again if I have the chance~

Family 4 There aren't many inns where people can stay in one room, but she prepared my mother's cot, and the room was made into a large room with 2 room. Thank you very much. The facility itself is certainly old. However, since it is a hotel with sufficient ingenuity and service to spend the room comfortably, I think it is a comfortable accommodation. There is no big problem with taking parents who are old and have difficulty walking. Mr. Nakai? However, it was a hotel with a warm impression that served me hard.

What is better near the station. The room is clean and the size is appropriate that does not feel small. The bed is hard. The downside was that the towels were thin and tactical, and it was cold even if I turned on the air conditioner.

Bbriantse92On the mountainside of Tangzhi Mountain, suitable for self-driving people, the hotel is a mix of Japanese and Western style, dinner and breakfast are Japanese, there are also hot springs to use, if you feel bored, you can also use table tennis for free.

JJINGKintetsu Toba Station has an exit that is specially used for pick-up from various hotels. It is very convenient. There were several Chinese-speaking waiters in the hotel, the communication was smooth, the Japanese waiters were very enthusiastic, and I also helped print the ticket reservations I needed. Children like Japanese-style rooms, can see the sea view, dinner is a set of meals, different prices, things are different. The location of the room in Ctrip is relatively poor.

AAnihaseyoTransportation: Take the Shimakaze train to Kashikojima, which takes about two and a half hours. Contact the hotel in advance for a pick-up from Kashikojima station. The hotel does not provide airport pick-up, but can arrange car hire for guests. Transportation is very inconvenient. Facilities: The facilities are very good. The interior styles of the three Aman hotels in Japan are very similar, and the rooms and public areas are well-maintained. Service: The service is very good. Food: Due to the hotel's remote location, there are no restaurants nearby, so all meals were eaten at the hotel. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly good (I thought it wouldn't be good). Dinner reservations must be made in advance, as the hotel is fully booked on holidays, and the restaurant's dinner slots are also fully booked. You either have to wait until 8:30 pm or eat at the bar. If you choose to eat dinner at the bar, you won't be able to get shabu-shabu. The lunch menu is different; it's a simple meal, but acceptable. The first set meal was a regular set meal, which included a beef dish with a green sauce that was super delicious; I used it to mix with rice. The second set meal included shabu-shabu, with options for Ise lobster, Matsusaka beef, and local beef; I chose the local beef. The reddish-brown sauce in the shabu-shabu was absolutely delicious. Activities: Chinese-speaking guides can be requested for tours of Ise. The hotel didn't email us in advance to inform us about activities or inquire about arrangements. Many activities were unavailable upon check-in. Summary: Aside from the inconvenient transportation and the lack of advance email communication about activities during my stay, everything was fine.

GGuest UserThis was my favorite hotel of the trip. Everything was perfect, except for initially not knowing the shuttle bus stop and having to drag my luggage uphill. The shuttle runs every half hour; I even took photos for everyone's reference. **Regarding the Shuttle Bus:** Since we arrived by JR train, exiting the station puts you directly on the ground level. However, the shuttle stop is actually on the other side, opposite the regular bus terminal. It's easier to spot from the glass window on the second floor, near the service counter where desserts are sold. **Regarding Check-in:** Upon arrival, after registration, you'll be invited to relax in the lobby and enjoy complimentary cake and tea. They will then take your luggage to your room. The lobby is actually on the second floor, while the first floor houses the Pearl Powder Hot Spring, directly accessible by elevator. On the other side of the second floor is the restaurant, which also includes the teppanyaki section. If you wish to try teppanyaki, make sure to book in advance; on our visit, only the Japanese-style option was available, though it was quite delicious. The marshmallow roasting on the lawn is accessed by taking the stairs down from the restaurant area. The atmosphere is lovely, and tea is also served there. **Regarding the Room:** Our room overlooked the lawn and offered a great view. At night, make sure to draw both layers of curtains, as the room is quite visible from the lawn area. All toiletries in the room are from Mikimoto, and they're excellent. The hot spring area also provides them, and they are available for purchase at the lobby shop. **Regarding the Onsen (Hot Spring):** At the onsen entrance, there are vending machines selling milk and ice cream. I enjoy drinking a bottle after my bath; it's very refreshing. The other two flavors are coffee and lactic acid drink. The small lockers right inside the entrance are for shoes. The flat switch on the left can be pulled open to access your locker; remember to check the passcode before closing it. For those who might feel a bit shy, you can grab a small towel before changing. It can be used to cover yourself after undressing or placed on your head while bathing. I usually prefer to wash up in my room before coming down. **Regarding the Hotel (Choujotei):** I personally preferred the Japanese-style Choujotei building. Access to the hot springs is convenient there, and the Pearl Powder Hot Spring is truly sparkling and beautiful. The round pool within it has a slightly lower temperature, allowing for a longer soak. Between the two hotel shops (referring to the shops in Choujotei and the Western-style building), Choujotei's is more enjoyable to browse. The Western-style shop focuses more on pearls, while the Japanese-style Choujotei shop has a wide array of small souvenirs and trinkets, and also offers duty-free shopping. Dining and spa expenses incurred at the hotel can be charged to your room and settled upon check-out. The spa is for guests aged 18 and above; the service is excellent, and the essential oils smell wonderful. It's interesting to note that the staff in the Western-style area all wear suits, while those in the Japanese-style area wear kimonos. **One More Tip:** When waiting for the shuttle, make sure to be attentive and let the staff know you're waiting. Often, if there aren't many people and you're not directly by the door, or if you don't respond when they call, the shuttle might simply leave.

JJeabsiriBecause the reservation is close and it is a weekend, the price is high. Therefore there are not many options. But it is better than I thought. Good service staff The room is ok, clean, good view, convenient parking. The onsen is good, both indoor and outdoor, but the floor is very slippery. Both in the pond and the walkway to take a bath. In the morning, there are alternate rooms, which is bigger and more comfortable.
