This hotel exceeded my expectations. First, the service was excellent. Ms. Yoshida at the front desk was very patient during check-in, and seeing I had a lot of luggage, she offered to help me carry it to my room. Second, the hotel facilities are relatively new and well-maintained, and the bathroom design is great. The location is convenient; you can access the Shinkansen directly from the 3rd floor, and walk to the West Exit and S-PAL mall from the 2nd floor. From the window, you can overlook the East Exit high-speed bus terminal, making it extremely easy to get to attractions like Yamagata Zao. There's also a Lopia supermarket within a five-minute walk, which is handy for groceries. The only drawback is that there's only one washing machine and dryer per floor. Since you need to use your key card to access each guest floor, it can be hard to get a spot during peak evening hours for laundry. I recommend planning your time accordingly. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sendai and its surrounding areas.
We had a room with a balcony facing the ocean, and were able to spend a relaxing time looking out at Matsushima.
Everyone who served us was very polite and kind.
The room was clean and quiet.
We chose a plan that only included breakfast, intending to eat dinner at a nearby restaurant, but the buffet-style food included many dishes unique to Matsushima, and everything was delicious, so we wished we had eaten dinner here as well!
We recommend it!
Everyone especially cleaning workers polite & helpful. Room small but locution great & toilet well equipped & clean. Lots of restaurants around. The local market nearby is a must-go. One minus though, counter staff can't easily understand our requests. Sendai is a great place but English is not a common tool for communication.
I really like this hotel. The details are very well done. It is very close to the airport and Meitianyuan subway station, and there is a Family Mart next to it. There is a welcome bar after check-in, and drinks such as water and juice are provided. The bath towel is more hygienic and comes with a clean plastic bag. There are even pillows of different heights to choose from. Various toiletries are provided. Although there are not many choices for breakfast, they are all delicious and of good quality. I feel that the water quality of the hot spring is better than the baths I took in Hokkaido. I can feel the flow of water. Although the pool is small, it is more comfortable than other hotels. Various reminders are well done, and the equipment is quite new. Anyway, I am quite satisfied. If I have the opportunity next time, I will choose again.
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai has a very convenient location! Right beside Sendai station (less than 5 minutes walk) and also near to Miyagino-Dori underground station!
Rooms are clean and there are a lot of amenities at the level 2 front desk to take for your stay. The staff are also friendly! They assisted me on a lost item after I left the hotel and delivered it back to Tokyo for me. Top service!

After many years, I stayed for the second time. It was as good as ever. It was a good place to relax on vacation. Unfortunately, the time was tight. I couldn’t stay for a few more days. I liked the small food provided very much. I bought a lot of food to bring back to
The hotel's location is excellent, about a 5-10 minute walk from Sendai Station. The room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, which is a plus. The breakfast is a real highlight, with both Japanese and Western options available. The Japanese breakfast was particularly impressive – definitely a good choice.
Pretty good! The bed was huge, and it's super close to Sendai Station. Breakfast was also excellent. I could occasionally hear the train at night, but it wasn't disruptive at all. It's also quite close to Sendai Morning Market, and it probably takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Aoba-dori. Don Quijote is nearby, and I found the Sendai branch to be really well-stocked – they have everything, which is great! The AER observation deck is just a 3-minute walk away. Super convenient!
We Got upgraded to a newly renovated room, toilet is separated from bathroom, which was a nice surprise! Hate to shower inside the bathtub but for $150 I tot I should make do since it’s just 1N. Will definitely come back here again if I come to Sendai. Location is implacable! Linked to train station and mall. Lots of restaurants around. Sendai is more bearable as it is not as crowded as Tokyo where you need to queue for everything.

GGuest UserI am so glad I chose Komatsu-kan during my stay in Matsushima. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When I told him I am a vegetarian, he kindly informed the kitchen to exclude animal flesh and seafood from my meal. (Usually, hotels ignored my food request, or they just gave me tofu and pickles for my meal.) The next morning, I was so surprised to see my breakfast. I loved the fresh salad, steamed vegetables, over-easy eggs, chawan-mushi, and the pickles even tasted better than before.
Then the room surprised me with the pine tree and the beautiful sea view. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here.
Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. They are kind and gentle. Generally speaking, this is a nice place worth staying and relaxing in.

GGuest UserI heard this was the best hotel in Sendai when I booked it, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The rooms are spacious, the views are great, the service is excellent, and the restaurant offers both delicious food and stunning scenery!
The location is superb, just a ten-minute walk from Sendai Station. You can easily walk to places like Tohoku University (the former site of Sendai Medical College) and Zuihoden Temple.
RRaspberry CherryThis is a very clean and impressive hotel.
We stayed here on a family trip, and the breakfast and dinner buffets had a wide selection and were very satisfying.
Dinner buffets were particularly lavish, with sushi and beef tongue on offer.
There is a round-trip shuttle bus to Sendai Station, but it may be fully booked without an advance reservation.
When I called the day before my stay, the only available bus to Sendai was the early morning one, so I had the hotel call a taxi for me.
There aren't many restaurants nearby, but the famous supermarket ”Saichi” is nearby, so I recommend visiting it.
