The hotel was unique in its design. The room was spacious for 3 and the interior design of the room was great. Toilet, bathroom and bathtub were separated and we had all face no problem when we need them Breakfast however was slightly below expected, the fruits were not so sweet and the cereals was a let down. It does not taste like original coco crunch and corn flakes. But other than that other food were okay for hotel level. On the service, all the staff there were excellent and I had a wonderful stay throughout and ya they do also provide laugage storage in case you have a later flight. It could have been awesome shall there be swimming pool available which were allowed for homestay residence only But overall, I do love this hotel in terms of their service and design. .

This is our 3rd stay at Sky Hotel. We booked a 2-bedroom suite and checked in at night, but unfortunately the room was not clean. There was dust and powder on the sofa, the floor was sticky and dusty, some flooring was chipped, and there was an unpleasant smell. We called reception to request a room change but were told the hotel was full. Housekeeping came to check and confirmed the room condition. We took some photos and went down to the reception counter, after discussingabout 10 minutes, the reception offered us an upgrade to a bigger suite, which was clean and much better. Appreciate the staff for resolving the issue quickly, but the room cleanliness should be improved.

Absolutely loved this hotel! It was originally hard for three of us to find a suitable place, and we were considering Airbnbs, but then I stumbled upon their three-bedroom apartment and immediately booked it. We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in; it was definitely the best hotel of our trip!

It was great and convenient stay. The parking were quite hustled a bit (because the hotel were connected to the mall i guess), except if you added 50/15myr per day for the valet parking. The room were better compared to those other legend hotels in Tawau; the floor carpet bit dirty and furniture quite oldies. The tv were working fine. The toilet were average; not to dirty but not too clean also. Toiletries were okay BUT they don’t provide toothbrush. Hm. Also we got the room that were strategically behind the aircond blower of the mall. The room soundproof quite decent; you can still hear people talking when they were at the hallways. The mall behind got lot of shop; stalls, restaurant, saloon, cinema, massage parlour and at night, you can also enjoy a street food market 4 minutes by walking on the other side of the hotel. So far we enjoyed the stay here. The staffs were varies; some were good; some maybe tired or just lazy, idk but checkin and out process were smooth.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the sea-view room offered beautiful views. However, the room faced a busy street, resulting in significant noise from motorcycles and traffic, which affected the overall stay. Another downside was the elevator outage. After a long wait, I had to walk down 19 floors using the stairs. The hotel could have addressed the issue more quickly to minimize the inconvenience and impact on guests.

The room was really clean, I forgot to take pictures. It was quiet at night and felt very safe. There are many restaurants and convenience stores downstairs. It's very close to Gaya Street and the DBKK jetty, about a 5-minute taxi ride. Every room has a floor-to-ceiling window with direct views of the jetty and the sea, as shown in the pictures – both the daytime views and the sunset are beautiful. Kota Kinabalu is the most convenient and comfortable city I've visited so far; it's very beautiful and chill. The host was also very nice and patient in answering my questions. This is the best and most worthwhile hotel I've ever picked, the value for money is truly unbeatable!

Highly recommend this place! The accommodation is clean and tidy, almost all basic amenities are provided, and they even offer mineral water and a toothbrush/toothpaste – so thoughtful! As soon as you open the door, you're greeted by a stunning ocean view! This sea view is unbeatable; waking up to the ocean right in front of you is incredibly comfortable! It’s just a 2-minute walk downstairs to the pier next door, making island hopping super convenient! The location of JQ is excellent, making it easy to get around by taxi! A truly wonderful stay! I'll definitely book this place again next time I visit. The host is very responsive and quickly resolves any issues! Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

This was my first trip to Sabah, and I booked this hotel with my family for the last day of our vacation. Although it’s quite far from the city area, the environment was nice and comfortable. However, on the night we stayed, there was a power outage for the first time I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The hotel staff did not inform us at all. After waiting for about an hour, we called the front desk and were told that the whole area had no electricity, not just the hotel. They also couldn’t confirm when the power would be restored, which was really frustrating 🙄 Luckily, the kids were already tired from playing all day and continued sleeping. The electricity finally came back after around 3 hours. Overall, the hotel was comfortable, and the pineapple buns provided in the morning were super delicious 👍my kids like it😋
