Beautiful rooms and the Club Suites are worth the splurge! 😆😆😆 We are right smack in the centre of everything! Walking distance to Main Bazaar, India Street… our first day we walked to Ceylonese restaurant our favourite restaurant which is just a short 8 minutes walk away! Very safe and secured location Very centrally located walking distance to museums, shopping, food etc Amazing food and drinks in hotel even their in room dining is amazing!😆😆😆 DO Splurge on their Club rooms or suites - worth every penny you spent! Amazing amazing views!!!! While the room wasn't huge, it had all the essential amenities and the location was excellent. There were plenty of dining options nearby, making it super convenient for both getting around and eating out. The only downside was the inconsistent hot water supply; it wasn't hot enough and quickly turned cold, which really impacted my shower experience. I hope they can improve their hot water system.

You can easily walk to the Kuching Waterfront, the Cat Statues, Chinatown, and numerous restaurants and cafes. Whether you're traveling for leisure or business, it's a huge time-saver – you can complete most of your itinerary just by walking. 🛏️ **Comfortable and Spacious Rooms** The room size was larger than expected, with a sensible layout, comfortable beds, and excellent air conditioning. Some room types offer city or river views, which are beautiful at night, perfect for relaxing. The overall hygiene was good, making it a great value-for-money option. 🧹 **Service and Facilities** The front desk service was efficient, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The hotel provides essential facilities like elevators, Wi-Fi, and breakfast service, which are perfectly adequate for daily needs. 🍽️ **Breakfast and Surroundings** The breakfast is a simple affair, but it's enough to kickstart your day. A bigger bonus is the abundance of fantastic eateries nearby. I stayed here for a few nights and had a generally acceptable experience. The room itself was a bit old and dated. However, looking past the dated decor, the overall stay was okay. The room was kept clean, the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, and all the basic amenities worked without any major issues. The staff were friendly, and the location was quite convenient. If you are looking for a modern, luxury experience, this might not be the place for you. But if you just need a functional, reasonably priced place to crash for a couple of days, it gets the job done. It's nothing fancy, but overall ok.

I stayed at City Rise Hotel Miri for the second time and overall it was a pleasant experience. my stay included breakfast. Although the variety of food options was not very extensive, the nasi lemak was surprisingly delicious and definitely a highlight of the meal. The hotel remains a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially for short visits. I would consider coming back again in the future.

The hotel’s location is very strategic, with plenty of food options and amenities within walking distance, which is a definite advantage. However, the service appears to be impacted by a shortage of staff. During both mornings at breakfast, we experienced long waits for coffee cups, juices, and water to be replenished. Cutlery setup and table clearing were also slow, resulting in guests having to take utensils from other tables or walk to the service station to get napkins, forks, and spoons. We observed similar challenges during the wedding dinner we attended. Basic services such as drink refills were often overlooked and had to be requested multiple times. Overall, while the location is excellent, improvements in staffing and service efficiency would greatly enhance the guest experience.

4🌟 stay at Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing for 4D3N. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with very friendly and helpful staff throughout our trip. Housekeeping also did a good job with room cleanliness and bed arrangement daily. One of the best parts of the stay was the beautiful view overlooking the Kuching Waterfront. The sunset view from the room was really nice and relaxing, especially during the evening. Breakfast had quite a good variety. During our 4D3N stay, the live stall consistently served Laksa Sarawak and Kolomee, which was a nice local touch. The salad section and some hot dishes were changed daily as well, so breakfast did not feel too repetitive. However, for a 4-star hotel, there are still quite a number of maintenance details that need improvement. On our first night, we faced an issue with the air-conditioning not being cold enough. After informing the front counter, the staff responded well and arranged a room change for us. The second room had much better air-conditioning. Another small point for improvement is the room amenities. Coffee and tea were only replenished on the first day of check-in and not refilled during the following days. Overall, still a pleasant stay with good service from the team, but the hotel facilities and maintenance can definitely be improved further.

Everything was within easy reach, and the area has a really nice, relaxing vibe, especially in the evening. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The convenience of being able to walk around without needing transport made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in a strategic location with a great view.

Thanks Roxy Team for the service! Really love it. However, there’s no hook in the toilet to hang our bathing towel and the aircond was loud even after trying to control it. Other than that, everything was excellent and comfortable!
