Beach Hotels in Macau, China

The free mini-bar snacks and drinks were amazing! There were so many delicious treats, and we kept refilling them for the kids, and the staff remained incredibly enthusiastic. Even though it was Chinese New Year and very busy, we still got a room with a great view. I absolutely loved the Toy Story themed tote bag – my child adored it. This hotel truly excels in creating a positive and memorable experience, especially for children. The rooms are also spacious.

Facilities: Not brand new, but everything works perfectly. The gym is large with good equipment, and the rooms and beds are spacious. Cleanliness: Very clean. The housekeeping staff were polite and did a thorough job. They were happy to provide extra water and coffee upon request. Environment: The environment is quiet. Facing the sea, it truly feels wonderful to open the window and see the ocean – all you hear are birds and the waves. The beach is very close, just a three to five-minute walk away. Service: Every staff member was smiling and polite. Most speak English, and they always greeted us when we passed by. Service was prompt and responsive. Transportation: There's a convenient bus stop right outside the hotel. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to Grand Lisboa, though the schedule is fixed. A taxi from Wynn Palace cost around 42 RMB. I went with my elderly parents. We initially booked for one night, but my parents were so pleased they immediately asked to extend for another night. We stayed for two days, and all our fatigue disappeared. I immediately recommended it to my friends! Great value for money, I'll definitely come again!

Stayed one night at the Pousada de Coloane, a charming Portuguese-style building. The small beach below has clearer water than Hac Sa Beach, though the sand isn't as fine. Perhaps due to the limitations of the original architecture and renovation costs, the decor isn't particularly refined. However, the new wall tiles immediately catch your eye. Every room faces the sea and has a balcony with an excellent view. Pousada de Coloane is a historic hotel steeped in Portuguese charm, with roots tracing back to the 1930s. Origins: The hotel was originally a private estate built in the 1930s. Official Opening: The estate was formally converted into a hotel and began operations in 1977, and was managed by the same family for over 25 years. Architectural Style: The hotel's architecture retains traditional Portuguese elements like arched doorways, azulejo tiles, vintage furniture, and decorative ceramic plates on the walls, creating an antique and peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.

Traveling with my child for a piano competition, I felt right at home from the moment we arrived. All the hotel staff were incredibly polite. The front desk even gave my child a drawing gift and wished them good luck with the competition, which was a really thoughtful touch! The elevator attendant was also super enthusiastic and energetic. Our room was clean and tidy, the view from the window was lovely, and the location was very convenient. Definitely 5 stars!

I always stay here when I visit Macau. The service is excellent, the hygiene is top-notch, and it's very family-friendly. The complimentary snacks and drinks are delicious. This time, they even set up a tent for my child! The heated pool is also very clean. Overall, it makes up for the less-than-ideal location. It's actually quite convenient to get there; you just take a car to Galaxy and cross the road.

Our stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Macau was truly exceptional. The grand, beautifully decorated lobby immediately sets a luxurious tone. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities such as international plug outlets and a large, elegant bathroom (with excellent water pressure and soothing bath salts). The bed linens and pillows were wonderfully soft and comfortable, and the view from our executive-floor room on the 28th floor was breathtaking — a full panorama of the Grand Resort Deck and its lively waterpark, which we thoroughly enjoyed with the kids. The hotel also has a fantastic kids’ room that our children absolutely loved, adding even more joy to our family stay. With direct access to The Promenade mall and its great range of restaurants, plus a wide and delicious breakfast selection, everything felt convenient and indulgent. Service was impeccable throughout, and special thanks go to Manuel, who kindly showed us around at check-in and arranged our transport upon departure. A truly memorable stay in every way.

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Macau for service. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who prioritizes service. Even during Chinese New Year, there were plenty of staff on every floor ready to clean rooms. Their attitude was warm and the rooms were meticulously cleaned; even my germaphobic self couldn't find a single fault. They delivered snacks and fruit daily, truly meeting 6-star hotel standards. While the facilities might not be as new as some other hotels, everything else easily exceeds a five-star rating. Plus, the ground floor offers convenient dining and shopping. Highly recommended!

Banyan Tree was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated. The hotel's amenities, including the spa, exceeded my expectations. I can't recommend the Banyan Tree enough - it's the perfect choice for a relaxing and indulgent getaway.
