Hotel is in a good location. But it’s old and not very well maintained. Also service is quite bad. Bed container a lot of hairs, so they had to clean it again after our arrival. But getting them to do it took some convincing at the reception. The door to next room is very open (you can see the light) so you can hear everything in the other room. Elevators are very worn down. Breakfast is the same every day and not a lot of options. Tables were cleared slowly, so not many places to sit during the busiest hours. Our shower did not work. No hot water. And barely any water pressure. It took going to the reception 4 times over 2 days before we got someone to help us. Every time they said they will send an engineer, but he never came. The hot water was a unlabeled switch that needed to turn on. For the low water pressure they said we were just unlucky to be at the 4th floor. They said they could not do much about it. So I feel sorry for people on higher floors. In the end all our issues were fixed. But it took a lot of asking and convincing, thus a lot of time I could not spend with family or at the beach.

The location is a bit far away from downtown, but taking a grab is no problem nor expensive. The infinity pool and sea view is just stunning. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. If I could point one negative thing I'd say the facilities are quite old and the customer service is not good nor bad, just average. At the end of the day I think it's a good choice in langkawi

We love the stay because it has all the basic needs: The ample parking space, large room space, nearby food eateries and shopping place, marts and entertainment corner just walkby. You can say it is at the center of Pantai Chenang, so everywhere we go is just a walking distance. The staff were also friendly and treated us kindly, they were very responsive plus informative.

The resort is situated near the airport which makes it very convenient. The room is pretty dated and would require refurbishing. It would be good to state beforehand that deposit and tax will be collected in cash only. Everything else was generally alright!

This is an amazing hotel for its price range! We had a 2-bedroom bungalow with a private pool, though we ended up using the main pool instead. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were good. It's a quiet place; you can't hear any road noise. The beach is a 5-7 minute walk away. There are many cafes nearby; we really liked Pirate Cafe and went there several times. There are also shops. However, we couldn't find a currency exchange and had to go to Cenang for that. Breakfast was a bit sparse (though typical for a 3-star), but you won't leave hungry. The staff were friendly and tried their best to help with everything. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys boutique hotels or guesthouses.

I’d rate this hotel 4 out of 5 overall. The room wasn’t perfectly clean, but it was good for the price. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great. Check-in and especially check-out were a bit annoying due to the wait. The waterpark is excellent and the kids absolutely loved it. The restaurant was good, with reasonably priced food and a great sunset view. Breakfast was the weakest point, with limited options like eggs, bread, and noodles.

Villa Abadi Resort strikes an excellent balance between work and relaxation. While it may not be a conventional business hotel, its professional services, tranquil environment, and quality meeting facilities make it an appealing choice for those who want to combine work with a refreshing retreat. Whether you're attending a small conference, organizing a team-building event, or simply need a place to focus on a big project, Villa Abadi Resort provides the perfect setting.

The hotel area itself is very beautiful and picturesque! Monkeys running, frogs jumping, fish in the ponds, birds! There are signs everywhere asking to keep quiet and respect your neighbors - this is very good! The girls at the reception are very nice! The location is good! You can also rent a scooter from them at a very good price. The downside for me was that the room was very small, we took a room without AC, there was only a fan and it was very stuffy at night. You couldn't open the doors because there were a lot of mosquitoes. And the pillows were not comfortable, too hard for me. Another downside is the bed linen, I don't understand why there is a terry sheet on top of the bed, it's not comfortable. Well, and the room could be cleaned better. In our room, someone's old drink bottle was lying in the corner and the wall at the base of the bed was very, very dusty.

Really nice place: good facilities including 2 pools, a bar, direct beach access, amazing staff, and a restaurant serving a decent buffet breakfast. But slightly let down by poor WiFi connection in our room, a broken safe that wasn’t replaced during our stay, and be aware that even though they mention local and satellite television services in their facilities on their listing & website, these aren’t supplied (there is however a TV you can access your own streaming services via). But overall we enjoyed this place.

I stayed at this hotel in Langkawi during my trip with my husband, and the place was truly stunning. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so peaceful and beautiful. I stayed there only for a night including with breakfast. The room was very nice, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I honestly regretted that we only stayed for one night. Waking up to such a breathtaking view was an experience on its own—the scenery around the hotel was absolutely amazing. One of my favourite parts of the resort was the beautiful swimming pool located right in the middle. It added so much charm to the place and made the whole environment feel even more relaxing and luxurious. Sitting by the pool and taking in the surroundings felt like a dream. I would say this was my favourite stay on my whole vacation there. That said, the journey to the resort was a bit challenging. The road leading up was quite confusing and honestly a little scary, as the resort is located at the top of a hill. Driving up from the bottom felt intense, and the pathway could definitely be improved. But once we reached the resort and stepped inside, it felt like entering heaven. The atmosphere, the view, and the comfort completely made up for the drive. Despite the challenging road, the experience was totally worth it. I truly fell in love with the place, and next time I visit Langkawi, I’ll definitely make sure to stay there longer.

Great
YYuanhuaruixiangRebak Island Resort & Marina, the sole hotel on Langkawi's Rebak Island, offered me an unforgettable vacation. If you're seeking a truly secluded sanctuary to connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle, I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The island's environment is simply breathtaking! Surrounded by refreshing scenery, there are plenty of trails to explore on foot. What surprised me most was the excellent ecological preservation here. The hotel even offers a guided one-hour nature walk every Sunday at 8:30 AM. Through this, I learned about many unique Malaysian flora and fauna – it was a truly valuable learning experience! Beyond hiking, we could also cycle. The bay where the hotel is situated is also a significant stop for global sailing, adding a special maritime flair to the entire resort. What truly warmed my heart during this trip was the hotel's service. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and I sincerely thank them for that! Our package included dinner, and breakfast was a standard buffet with a wide variety of choices. The dinner menu also offered excellent selection, and both the taste and service left us very satisfied. Even better, despite being on a private island, transportation to and from the mainland was absolutely no issue. There are several complimentary shuttle boat services daily, making it very convenient. Of course, even in a perfect experience, there were some things to get used to. 1. **Soundproofing in wooden villas:** The hotel rooms are older-style wooden villas, usually two stories. If you stay on the ground floor, you will indeed hear the footsteps of guests upstairs quite clearly. 2. **Monkey neighbors:** Because the island's ecosystem is so thriving, we had quite a few monkey neighbors! Everyone needs to be extra careful and remember not to leave your room door open, otherwise, they might come in and ”steal” your food. **Summary:** Putting aside the soundproofing of the older villas and the ”mischief” of the little monkeys, Rebak Island Resort & Marina earned my highest praise for its unparalleled natural environment, rich ecological activities, and thoughtful, attentive service. It was a soulful journey back to nature!

GGuest UserWe love nature, wildlife and hiking, therefore we chose to stay at Berjaya Langkawi Resort which is just a short walk to the Cable Car, Seven Wells waterfall &  Machinchang Peak hiking trail. Great breakfast, excellent service and friendly staff. Spacious rooms with rainforests and sea views. I encountered interesting wildlife around the resort, which I photographed. We will return.

GGuest UserThe chalet is located by a quiet beach near other resorts. It is unlike the other neighbouring beach which is full of tourists. Here you can enjoy privacy and quietness . We stayed in water chalet at the upper floor unit. Once entering the surrounding you will feel like you are in ancient Japanese or Korean past decade. It is a truly amazing experience. The room furniture is sturdy and well maintained. The outside and the inside really match my taste. The water chalet is unique and relaxing. I will sure book again. The only thing I would like to raise for improvement is the stairs to go up the unit . It is very dark and the light will only be turned on at night at 7.00pm. Under the staircase you will see mass. Other than these everything is okay.

AAnonymous UserThe location of this hotel is outstanding. It is right at the end of the beach, giving the feeling that the entire stretch of sand belongs to you. It is quiet, and ideal for relaxing, especially for families. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the prices are on the expensive side for what is offered overall. Unfortunately, the hotel’s biggest weakness is its organisation and internal communication. Apparently different departments do not communicate well with one another. During check-in, there was a long queue at the reception despite five staff members being present, yet only two were actually assisting guests. As a result, we waited far longer than necessary. Only after I told them that they need to help each other out, did they start accelerating the check-in process. A more serious issue occurred on our third day when the safe box in our room ran out of battery. I informed reception and was told someone would come shortly. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again, then waited another 15 minutes, and finally had to go to reception for the third time. In total, nearly two hours of our holiday were wasted waiting for a simple battery replacement. The restaurant, however, was a clear exception. Mr Azizi deserves special mention for his professionalism and attentiveness. From the first day until the end of our stay, he regularly checked on us and genuinely tried to help. When I mentioned the safe box issue to him, he was the one who finally stepped in and made things happen. Thanks to his supervision, the restaurant ran smoothly and efficiently. BTW, it’s worth mentioning that breakfast is amazing, with a variety of delicacies. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the beach bar. Orders were frequently forgotten, even after payment. Waiting 30–40 minutes for drinks and then being told they were simply forgotten was frustrating and disappointing. Another sign of poor coordination was the bracelet policy. For the first two days, no one mentioned that guests were supposed to wear bracelets. From the third day onwards, security staff on the beach began checking and questioning us daily, which again points to a lack of communication at reception. The room itself was decent. Due to the humid climate, there was a slight smell, which is quite common in this region and something we also experienced in Thailand, so this was not a major issue. Overall, I can recommend this hotel for its excellent location and family-friendly atmosphere. However, considering the price and the ongoing organisational problems, I do not feel it offers good value for money. On a positive note, Grab makes it easy to get around, and the main hotspot area is only about 2-2.5 km away.

GGuest UserThe room was incredibly spacious with an ocean view, and it had everything we needed, including a microwave and an island counter. The balcony was perfect for photos. We were on the second floor, which had a bit of an obstructed view; I imagine a higher floor would be even better. Downstairs, there's a pool, a kids' play area, billiards, and an entertainment zone. The only downside is that the place is a bit old, and some things are showing their age, but overall, it's still pretty good.

WWheres_VivWe had a fantastic stay at The Westin Langkawi! The staff were warm, friendly, and always so attentive and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort is spotless and beautifully maintained, with comfortable lounge chairs by the pool that are perfect for relaxing. The hotel backs right onto a stunning private beach, offering amazing views across the ocean. We even had some cute monkey visitors around the grounds (they are very friendly too), which made our stay even more memorable! The hotel is a bit further away from the popular tourist places like Pantai Cenang and the north of the island, but there is plenty of taxi service around and at very good rates. I would highly recommend The Westin for anyone visiting Langkawi.

KKestelWe had a wonderful stay at Four Seasons. Traditional, oriental style of the Villa, just a few steps away from the long, private beach. Food was excellent, always fresh & local sourced. The staff and service marvelous, attentive and always with a smile. The spa and yoga class was a great experience, too. Perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge. Highly recommended.
