We had a very satisfying stay. The hotel service was excellent; when we accidentally left something behind, they went above and beyond to find it for us and kept it safe. We booked multiple rooms together. The lobby had lovely ***** New Year decorations, and outside, there's a large lawn with a non-powered playground and sandpit for kids, plus cute pets you can visit for free. The resort atmosphere is fantastic for relaxation. Our room was very clean, spacious, and bright, with tidy bedding. The private balcony offered particularly expansive views. The surrounding environment is pleasant, the air is fresh, and getting around from the hotel is very convenient. As a new hotel, the facilities are also comprehensive. My family and I were all very pleased.

The location is excellent, in the heart of the city; there are plenty of parking spaces, so driving is worry-free; the breakfast has a rich variety; I was worried that the equipment and facilities would be old, but the actual experience shows that the hotel has spent some effort on maintenance, and it is clean and comfortable; finally, let me talk about the service. The day of check-in happened to be a family member's birthday, and the young lady who checked me in was very attentive, and immediately sent blessings and small surprises. The glasses brother in the hotel's Chinese restaurant also gave me a very warm reception, which left a brilliant impression and memory for me and my family.

The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The hardware and decor are also good, and the room even had a sewing kit, which is a nice detail not found in other hotels. However, there's still a gap in service compared to some well-established five-star hotels. The front desk in the lobby was good, and my check-in experience was fine. But the breakfast restaurant was a different story. Other places might be crowded too, but they're not this chaotic. If it's too busy, they could limit access. I searched everywhere for a seat and finally asked a staff member if she could help me find one. She gave me an impatient, cold look, tersely said, 'Everyone's busy right now,' and just walked away. I then found a male staff member who at least offered a solution, suggesting I ask if the empty seats were available. Honestly, your restaurant has five-star hardware but three-star service quality. They really need some training. On a positive note, the breakfast restaurant had glutinous rice balls, which were quite unique. But you had to queue for them. I'd suggest considering preparing them in advance in the future.

Close enough to see Jiaxiu Tower, and distant views of the 'White House'! Choosing Sofitel for our Chinese New Year trip truly exceeded expectations, and the whole family was very happy. First, the attentive and thoughtful service from all staff during the holiday made us feel incredibly welcome. Second, the dinner privilege at the executive lounge was upgraded to a buffet, which was excellent value for money and solved the dining dilemma for our large family. Lastly, the hotel's location is genuinely superb. We were able to walk with our child to visit Jiaxiu Tower, Wenchang Pavilion, Minsheng Road, and Qingyun Market. It's truly a hidden gem of a hotel. The only downsides were that the room windows couldn't be opened for fresh air, and the room got very hot in the afternoon sun. Since it's this time of year, the central air conditioning's cooling function couldn't be used continuously, which wasn't ideal for a child. Also, the room's Wi-Fi was not great; the internet speed was very slow, often preventing the TV's screen mirroring from connecting. Overall, though, it's still highly recommended!

Due to a change in our itinerary, we rebooked at the Tongren State Guesthouse. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations. Both the amenities and the quality of service truly live up to its title of ”Tongren's #1 Luxury Hotel.” 1. Excellent Location The hotel is located within the National Customs Park at No. 5 Wuling Avenue, Bijiang District, just 1.3 kilometers from Tongren Railway Station, offering convenient transportation. The surroundings are beautiful, offering both the stunning scenery of the Jinjiang River and the cultural atmosphere of the National Customs Park, making for a pleasant evening stroll. 2. Comfortable Room Experience We booked a Deluxe River View Room, and the front desk representative, Xiao Peng, upgraded us to an Executive River View Room. This spacious 90-square-meter room features floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Jinjiang River, offering unobstructed views of both the mountains and the river. The room is fully equipped with a bathtub, refrigerator, and smart curtains. The mattress has the perfect firmness for an excellent sleep. The hotel also offers exceptional attention to detail, including welcome fruit. 3. Attentive Service The front desk service was particularly commendable. Check-in was very efficient. Xiao Peng, the staff member, was not only warm and attentive, but also proactively upgraded our room, gave us welcome fruit, and provided free luggage storage. 4. Extensive Dining Options The hotel offers two restaurants: Fu Restaurant (buffet) and Bijingxuan (a la carte Chinese cuisine). The breakfast menu is extensive, with both Western bread and coffee and local rice noodles, all very delicious. 5. Complete Amenities - Indoor heated swimming pool: Clean, uncrowded, and perfect for relaxing. 6. Tips The hotel is near the railway station, and the occasional train whistle can be heard, which may be disturbing for light sleepers, but overall the impact is minimal. There are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby, so takeout is the only option.

Excellent service, and the hairdryer was fantastic. Double Brunch Buffet: Very quiet with a wide variety of dishes. Where the Clouds Dwell - Pick one of nine specialty cocktails: Pretty good. The hotel's location is superb. The subway entrance is just 10 meters to the left downstairs, and there's a bus stop right outside. The service is great, with complimentary coffee and cocktails. The room is spacious with a great view and well-equipped. I have to particularly praise the hairdryer in the room – it has powerful, constant heat, which is a lifesaver for long hair. Overall, a perfect stay, highly recommended!

Overall, I was very satisfied with everything. My only suggestion would be for the hotel's main entrance to be closed or guarded. Currently, it feels completely open to the ancient city area without any separation. This makes the privacy feel quite low, and at night, I worry about safety since there's no clear barrier from the outside. I also saw pictures of the previous lobby, which looked beautiful, and I'm curious why the lobby location was changed.

An absolutely wonderful stay! Even before we arrived, the guesthouse staff contacted us to arrange our check-in time and method. We were exhausted after traveling to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village with our kids and elderly parents in the evening, but the moment we stepped into our room, it was all worth it! Both the night and day views were incredibly beautiful. The customer service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive – afternoon tea, sweet soup in the evening, help with our luggage, suggestions for our sightseeing itinerary... they answered every question and fulfilled every request. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Miao Village!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff and other employees are all very warm and helpful. I was particularly impressed with how the front desk handled a guest cutting in line during check-in. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and the hot dishes are delicious. The complimentary fruit platter and mineral water are of good quality. Upon check-in, we also received complimentary Maotai ice cream. The hotel also provides a 25% discount on tickets to the National Liquor Culture City. Please note that with this discounted ticket, you will not be able to participate in the tasting at the Liquor Culture City.

This is the absolute best value for money! The price is reasonable, but the room is much larger than expected. The decor is simple yet sophisticated, perfect for taking great photos. The bed is incredibly comfortable; a good night's sleep is so important after a long journey. The common areas of the guesthouse are very pleasant, with a relaxation area where you can enjoy a coffee in the morning or chat with friends in the evening – the atmosphere is fantastic. The location is also excellent, away from the hustle and bustle yet conveniently located; taxis and buses are easy to find. The host's service is very attentive; they are not overly intrusive but always ready to help. A superb experience – highly recommended!
