I booked classic room. A little old but spacious. Apart from that, it was amazing! B1 is for kids!!! They have alot of games/ stations for kids to play whole day! Onsen also included!! On good day, you can stars glazing too. They have lounge access for classic room too. Small snack section. Classic room really basic, dont expect too much. This hotel was my pit stop before heading back to Tokyo (:

This hotel boasts a great location, right next to the amusement park. There's also a 7/11 conveniently located behind it. While it's a bit far from Kawaguchiko Station, getting to tourist attractions isn't an issue as the hotel offers a fantastic free shuttle bus service to several key spots. The rooms are incredibly clean, and the onsen (hot spring) is complimentary. It's super convenient to get to the hotel from Tokyo Station, Shinjuku, and other areas, as there's a bus stop right next to the hotel's parking lot. You can buy tickets at the station or online for whichever area you're coming from or going to. It's excellent 👍 and I'd definitely stay here again. You can even enjoy views of Mount Fuji while having breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, and the breakfast spread is quite generous.

Nice & peaceful location. Although it’s about 19 min (1.4m) walk away from Kawaguchiko Station, you would be better off taking the hotel shuttle bus (which takes about 5 min) if you have luggages with you. 😅 Breakfast is simple but good enough to start the day. Please note that there’s no onsen in this hotel. However there’s a Bedrock Bath (lying on some heated floor), which is not very popular. It seems like I was the only guest using it during my stay. I think replacing it with an onsen would be better. Communication with the hotel before the stay is non-existent. The only time they would reply you is when you ask to have a room with Mt. Fuji view. And their reply would be that they cannot guarantee it. I asked about their free shuttle service to Gotemba Premium Outlet was left unanswered even until today. If you intend to take the free shuttle to Gotemba Premium Outlet, you would need to reserve. The last shuttle leaves the hotel at 3.30pm. If you miss that bus, you would not be able to go to the Outlet, unless you are willing to pay S$100+ to go by taxi. We rented a car to go to the outlet & also to visit some attractions. Overall, still a relatively good hotel to stay in when you are in Kawaguchiko.

The location is easy for travellers with cars. Otherwise shuttle bus to town is not available all the time. Breakfast is good, dinner not so much. Wet and foggy during our star so couldn’t see much views. Staff don’t speak much English which makes the stay not pleasant. Hotel facility is great, and clean, nice resort when you have car and speak Japanese.

We like the traditional Japanese room experience. The bed is very comfortable. The indoor onsen is okay. The outdoor onsen condition is not very nice and quite small. Their restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the food a lot. Definitely to book a night with set dinner. Very friendly staffs.

Amazing hotel with the nicest staff. The view is incomparable. We were lucky enough to have a perfectly clear day and what a sight! Breakfast and dinner were included, but be aware that it’s mostly seafood. The hotel was clean, sophisticated and well designed. The onsen on the top floor gave a great view of the mountain, but all rooms are Fuji views. 10/10 would stay again!

Renting an electric scooter at the entrance costs 150 RMB per day, but you have to park it at designated spots. Taxis are even more expensive. The owner, an auntie from Northeast China, is very friendly, and the front desk staff from Zhejiang is also nice. The on-site hot spring is very comfortable. In the evenings, the cafeteria on the first floor turns into a KTV, playing only Chinese songs; I didn't notice what time it closed. The hotel is located at the starting point of Lake Yamanaka, and cycling around the lake is very enjoyable.

The room was very clean. The best parts of the hotel include free supper noodles which were yummy, free icecream in evening, free Yakult in morning and massage chairs. We were also able to park our rental car in their car garage (for an extra fee)

Stayed several times and was very satisfied every time. The kaiseki dinner was delicious, the service was attentive, the staff were polite, and the hot spring bath was also good. This time I also saw the custom of praying for ”Daimonyaki”

I stayed here many years ago and loved it, so I booked another two nights this time. Although the price has gone up significantly, the food was just okay, and you still have to pay tax even if you don't use the hot springs. The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for boating and taking the cable car. There's also a supermarket and several restaurants nearby. If you're coming to Lake Kawaguchiko, it's still a decent choice.

MM238400****I booked this room specifically for the Mt. Fuji view. It was much cheaper than other hotels in the area, but really, all you're getting is the view and a place to sleep. I hadn't booked a room with an outdoor hot spring, but there wasn't even a bathtub in the bathroom, nor a large public bath. For this price, I really think there should be a tub. For meals, sukiyaki was the only option, so thankfully I'd bought some ready-to-eat meals at 7-Eleven. The view was good though.

SShanghaiqianqianThis hotel might be the best value for money by the lake. It's directly facing Lake Kawaguchiko, and Mount Fuji is right to the left, so you can enjoy beautiful views without even leaving the hotel. The breakfast buffet is incredibly rich and the hotel service is excellent. Highly recommended!

SStephaniezdpThe room is a Japanese-style tatami, and there's a hot spring right on the first floor, located by Lake Kawaguchiko. Dining at night can be a bit of a hassle; if you don't want to eat at the hotel, you'll need to walk about ten minutes to an izakaya. Be sure to check the bus schedule at the entrance beforehand, otherwise, it's nearly a 20-minute walk to Kawaguchiko Station. There are buses to the outlet mall at 9:10 AM and 10:10 AM, but on popular days, it's advisable to buy tickets in advance as there might not be seats available if you buy on the spot. On-site purchases require a credit card or cash; Alipay and WeChat are not accepted. I imagine Lake Kawaguchiko would be beautiful during cherry blossom season, but in winter, I personally prefer staying at Lake Yamanakako for the beautiful lakeside cycling.

GGuest UserA nice place to stay overall. You will need to take a bus to get to the hotel, but it is still accessible and not too difficult to reach. The surroundings are peaceful, which makes it a good place to relax. One of the highlights is the playground for children. It is a great place for kids to play and burn off some energy, making the stay more enjoyable for families traveling with young children. Although the location is not directly in the city centre, it is a good option if you prefer a quieter environment. Overall, it is a pleasant stay, especially for families with kids.

Ttravel12🏨 the ryokan turned out to be much more beautiful than i expected from what i've seen on the pictures here 🗺️ the location is great, and even though we didn't get the room with the lake view, the view was still amazing. there's also a konbini and a few cafés right next to the ryokan, so it was very convenient 🕴️the staff was kind, it was easy to communicate in english 🧖♀️ didn't attend the onsen myself, but my friends told me they liked it ⭐️ taking one star off cause the shower-head was a bit broken and the room wasn't clean enough to my taste
