OOlha SThe hotel is very conveniently located, close to major tourist attractions, and connected by a skywalk to a shopping mall with a food court and a market. There's a wonderful view from the window. The room had everything needed: slippers, towels, bathrobes, toiletries, tea/coffee. It featured soundproofing, blackout curtains, and firm beds. Breakfast offered traditional Myanmar, Indian, Chinese, and European cuisines. It was pleasant to relax in the pool and, in the evening, in the cozy bar. The staff was incredibly polite and extremely friendly.

They made me feel well-supported throughout my entire stay in Yangon. The staff were always kind, attentive, and ready to help whenever I had questions about transportation or places to visit. Thanks to their guidance, everything went smoothly and I felt very safe exploring the city on my own.
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other solo travelers looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay in Yangon.

백백마용사Friendly staff and very clean interior. Well-maintained swimming pool. The drinks at the lobby restaurant are hit-or-miss, but the food is delicious.
Pros:
1. Extremely friendly staff.
2. Well-maintained swimming pool (including locker rooms, showers, restrooms, etc.).
3. Convenient with a convenience store and restaurant on the G floor.
4. Excellent access to major tourist attractions (train station, Bogyoke Market, theaters, Shwedagon Pagoda, etc.).
5. Good Wi-Fi!
Cons:
1. Hotel pick-up and drop-off service is expensive.

In particular, I really loved the view of Shwedagon Pagoda from my room. You have an excellent location as well, and the breakfast is hearty and satisfying.

Thinn Zar and Harry — thank you for attending to me and accommodating my late dinner request
Thet Aung Linn — I really appreciated his service as a trainee, and I note his potential. I was very impressed with his fluency in Chinese, which is a great asset
The cleaning staff were also dedicated and always conscientious

GGuest UserEvery time I visit Myanmar, I stay here. I've probably accumulated at least two months of stays over time. However, I've never received a complimentary room upgrade, regardless of whether it's high or low season. They really need to work on customer loyalty. This time, there was extremely loud banging and drumming going on at the hotel.

AAnonymous Guest UserIt is located in embassy area and not far from the main road. The courtesy of clerks, the design and the ambience are pretty nice. The room is also spacious and the bed quality is good. But the biggest problem is there were so many mosquitos and I couldn't protect myself from their bloodhunt even with mosquito curtain as it has big holes and broken parts everywhere and everytime I go to wash my hands mosquitos were targeting me. The room itself is not airtight and small flies are coming in from nowhere, especially toilet and the entrance door. When I first entered the room, the central window was wide open without sash and the hotel has no will to eliminate mosquitos in the room.

MMiles TretheweyChatruim Lake View Hotel was a superb experience - I stayed here twice for about 8 days in total. The process from Check in to check out was second to none. We loved the hotel grounds, big rooms with a lake view, the breakfast was great too with a good selection of food. The service from the bellboy to reception I can't really complain as they responded to all our requests. We checked out early for a flight to Mandalay and they provided us with a packed lunch. The pool facilities were great - alhough I think the water needs a bit of chlorine for cleaning as it was a bit musky - The hotel was nice and quiet with not too many guest, but service was still there. I'd like to mention the receptionist who is always smiling and so kind and welcoming and listening to our travel stories and requests - La Min and Mr Simon were so helpful, but I can't remember the other names. One thing to note- if you don't have a car, then it's not that central to the center of the city, however, you can easily take a Grab to Shwedagon Pagoda or the center, you can also walk to Kandagwyi Lake Graden and enjoy the sunset - which is only a 15 min walk and there is a mall there, too with a great supermarket. If you need to change money - the hotel recommended 126 Grocery Store - great rates no passport needed just new crisp USD notes. It's near Myanmar Plaza. I will definitely stay there again. We stayed in the Lake View but if you prefer the morning sun on your balcony then you can take the Pagoda view. There is a presendential suite if you have the cash which I was told has a good overall top floor view. I hope you enjoy your stay. This was definitely much better than the Chatruim in Bangkok
