We had a perfect stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou! The suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable, consisting of two connected rooms. One room featured a king-size bed, a large living room, and a luxurious bathroom with a huge bathtub. The second room had two single beds, which was perfect for our two adult children. The layout was very thoughtful, with two separate bathrooms and toilets, plus an additional guest toilet in the living room. With four of us staying together, we never had to wait for the bathroom — a huge convenience! The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, featuring beautiful gardens, traditional architecture, and a pagoda, making it feel like a scenic attraction in itself. As a special bonus, the hotel provided a complimentary 60-minute Hanfu experience, allowing us to take wonderful photos around the property. Honestly, the hotel is so beautiful that you could easily spend a day exploring the grounds without leaving. Another thoughtful touch was that each room was provided with an entire carton of bottled mineral water, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, an exceptional stay with spacious accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Suzhou!

Facilities: The showerhead was really comfortable, and the toilet was a smart one with blue light sterilization. The bathtub 🛁 was huge and came with a disposable liner, which was a nice health touch. Cleanliness: Great, very clean. Ambiance: A quiet, Japanese-style atmosphere. It felt a bit like a Japanese hot spring, very unique. Service: When we left, they gave us a special wormwood hammer and a Suzhou embroidery fan. We had bought breakfast, and one portion was missing, so the front desk lady promptly brought us an extra one. Excellent, I'll definitely come back.

The location is fantastic, with a bustling view of Xinjiekou right outside the window. What impressed me most was the service – friendly, polite, and incredibly responsive. The dining options exceeded expectations; the breakfast was diverse with Nanjng specialties, and the formal meals were exquisitely prepared. The room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and responsive. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food quality was surprisingly good. I especially want to commend the Jia Restaurant on the 56th floor of the Asia Pacific Tower. On our first night, we tried their mini hotpot, and the two single sets were more than enough for two people. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, promptly helping with drinks, clearing plates, and cooking items. We also loved the buffet selection! We had such a happy meal! The next morning, we debated between the ground floor breakfast buffet and the 56th-floor one, but decided to go back to the 56th floor – and we were so glad we did! It was another wonderful experience, feeling right at home. There were many dishes available in the morning. For instance, a waitress kindly cut the Jinling large meat bun for us so we could each have half, which we really appreciated. A big thank you to CY and MYF from Jia Restaurant for their attentive service. The view was also excellent; we could see the beautiful city from our seats. All in all, I highly recommend trying it! I truly appreciate such thoughtful service! We booked afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge, which featured a beautiful birdcage design. The happy hour's light dinner, part of the executive benefits, was also delicious! I had previously celebrated a birthday at Meiyuan, so this time, I decided to try the Pacific Western Restaurant before checking out, which also offered a beautiful setting and attentive service. I feel like I'll be back very soon just for the delicious food.

The breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and quality that I really enjoyed. However, it might have been due to a holiday, but there was no one to seat us in the breakfast area. We basically had to find and grab tables ourselves, which made for a rather chaotic experience. The high-floor city view was indeed fantastic, offering a panoramic outlook. Plus, being right above a shopping mall made it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. I had specifically requested a king-size bed when booking to make it easier with my child, and the hotel arranged it as requested, which was a thoughtful touch. However, staying with a child presented a few inconveniences: it was difficult for one person to pick up takeout with a child, as the hotel doesn't offer room delivery for external food. I had to go down twice by elevator to retrieve it myself, which was quite a hassle. The elevators were also rather slow, and during peak hours, we waited for a long time. As for amenities, only children's slippers and toothbrushes were provided; no children's toiletries, which was inconvenient. On a positive note, Kevin Chen from the concierge team deserves praise. His service attitude was excellent, and he was very proactive in helping with any requests, which made me feel very comfortable.

I brought my family here for a birthday celebration. The hotel arranged a birthday setup and gave us a small cake, which was delicious! **Appearance:** The cruise ship design is quite unique, and right across from it is the Gate of the Orient. It's lovely to take a stroll on the boardwalk in the evening. **Interior:** The hotel is a bit older, so some rooms might have a slight odor, but the staff promptly addressed it, which was decent. The sanitation facilities were clean. **Service:** The staff, including those in the breakfast restaurant, Zhenlu Yi Hotpot, and the doormen, were all incredibly warm and polite. (The coffee bar staff, however, were a bit lacking.) **Breakfast:** It's a mix of Chinese and Western options. While the variety isn't huge, everything tasted great, especially the Suzhou-style Aozao noodles! They were so good I had two bowls! There wasn't much fruit though. **Toiletries:** They use BORGESE products, with an orange scent, which was very pleasant.

After checking online reviews before booking, I decided on this hotel. Upon checking in, it truly lived up to its reputation; the five-star ratings are absolutely spot on. From the welcoming staff to the lobby and even the cleaning crew, everyone was smiling and provided incredibly friendly service, making us feel right at home. We added our concierge, Xiao Z, on WeChat, and any requests we had were answered immediately, which made our trip much more convenient! The hotel's location is also excellent for getting around, with a bus stop just 100m from the entrance. It's super easy to get to Slender West Lake, Dongguan Street, the Grand Canal Museum, Vientiane City, and Impression City. This time, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, as there are so many fantastic local eateries nearby offering regional specialties. All in all, the top-notch service definitely deserves high praise. See you next time!

This was the last hotel of our trip, and true to its name, it's right next to Guanqian Park and adjacent to the Kaiming Grand Theater. The entrance is really unassuming, and I was quite nervous when I first walked in, worried I'd made a bad choice. But once I got into the room, wow, it was exactly like the pictures! The room was really spacious, and the bathroom and laundry room were separate spaces, both with windows, so the air circulation was excellent. The room was tastefully decorated, clean, and tidy, and the super-large TV was great for watching shows, haha. The bed was huge with a latex pillow, and I had a really good night's sleep. Most importantly, the hotel is very close to Guanqian Street and Pingjiang Road; you can just stroll there. Even though it's near a bustling area, the room was very quiet. Unfortunately, our itinerary didn't allow for more time, otherwise, I would have loved to stay a few more days. Suzhou is a city that instantly captured my heart with its well-developed waterways, preserved ancient charm in the old town, and every bridge and old flagstone alley that made me reluctant to leave. I also love the graceful and melodious Suzhou Pingtan opera. I appreciate the warm and friendly people of Suzhou. I didn't get enough exploring, playing, or listening done, and I look forward to returning to Suzhou.

This stay at the Shangri-La was great! It's super convenient for both the subway 🚇 and taxis 🚗, and just three subway stops away from the popular Confucius Temple. The hotel itself is elegant and comfortable. The breakfast buffet on the second floor offers a wide variety of delicious options. In the lobby, the café on the first floor is perfect for a relaxed afternoon tea ☕, and they even have a live singer from 7 PM to 10 PM. My room was clean and tidy, and the staff were all very friendly, always greeting me with a smile and proactively asking if I needed any help. It was a really enjoyable trip! Highly recommended 👍

This hotel, located in the landmark Zifeng Tower in Nanjing, has been around for a while, but the facilities are still well-maintained, and the InterContinental's service quality is excellent. Their service is truly proactive. Before check-in, someone personally reached out via WeChat to ask about our needs and prepare everything. Ms. Cora from InterContinental was incredibly nice. Before our trip, she sent us a comprehensive guide to all the dining, entertainment, and attractions nearby – we could have just followed it blindly! We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an executive floor room with a lake view and city skyline, and we even saw a stunning sunrise the next day. My child insisted I write a big positive review for this hotel! Kids' toothbrushes, slippers, and bathrobes were all provided and arranged in the room beforehand. Ms. Cora checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything, which was very thoughtful. She even offered to have staff deliver takeout to our room, though we didn't end up bothering them. The breakfast was also good, featuring local Jinling specialties like old duck vermicelli soup, which was delicious. Even during peak hours, dining was well-organized. The hotel's location is excellent, with Gulou subway station offering both Line 1 and Line 4, making it convenient to get anywhere. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nanjing – it's incredibly good value for money!

I frequently stay at this hotel. It offers a blend of elegance and comfort, with every corner of the room exuding warmth and coziness. The staff's meticulous care is impressive, and the impeccable cleanliness provides a sense of peace and security during your stay. This has always been my trusted brand hotel; it's consistently excellent. I've been staying here for years, always choosing it for my trips. The service is also very attentive and professional. Lily arranged my room in advance, and it was very quiet with great natural light, allowing for a really good rest. Being on a high floor, the large windows let in plenty of light. The Wi-Fi and TV worked perfectly. The room's decor is simple, modern, and very comfortable. The lobby is spacious, and the internet is genuinely better than other places. The card key access for the elevators really adds to the safety and peace of mind.

We had an absolutely great experience here! When researching where to stay in Suzhou, Pan Pacific came up in most reviews, so we had high expectations and the experience completely lived up to them. We stayed for two nights and would love to return whenever we come back to Suzhou. It’s truly worth it. The property is grand and beautiful, just like in the photos, the room and amenities felt like a five-star hotel at an unbelievable price. In-house guests also get free access to the ancient Panmen Gate, which the area is directly connected from the hotel. The check-in process may take a little longer if arrive at the same time as groups, but all the staff were friendly and helpful. Not every one speaking fluent English, but they were all friendly. And shout out to lovely Concierge named Ivy 郑明泽, when we were trying to ask for help to buy the yoghurt drink as we couldn’t find in any places we went before, she was the one helping us by using her own mobile and even delivered us by the door herself 🥹

What we liked: Spacious and nice room design. Separate bath and toilet. Toilet has automatic flush, seat cover is also provided. Lots of snacks and amenities provided. There are amenities at the front desk such as disposable bath cover, disposable floss, mask etc you can collect from front desk. You can also ask for warm bottled water. Responsive staff, can communicate your needs via WeChat, very convenient. There are 3 lifts, very convenient. Snacks and drinks are free. Bath robes, room and bath slippers are provided too. Awesome that we stayed on the same floor as the lobby, very convenient. Location is near metro, malls, shops, and attractions, very convenient. I like that there are bath robes and different types of towels provided. What we think can be improved: We thought the big bath was indoors and wouldn’t be so cold in the winter but it has two open windows and it gets quite cold when the wind blows. It takes about 1.5h to fill up about 60-70% of the tub and you need to tap every 30 minutes or so to keep the water flowing. Quite time consuming to get it ready for a bath. Housekeeping is inconsistent, the cleaner left a towel on the floor on one of the days, left a cup unwashed, took away our straws and left the sink cover by the sink instead. They have a centralised heating system so it can get quite hot but the staff offered us a fan and we opened the balcony door for wind to enter so it was comfortable to sleep at night. There was some drilling going on in the early morning around 9-10am, it was just opposite our room so it disrupted my sleep, would be better for them to schedule it during non-sleeping hours. When we were checking out, the staff at the counter shared about them getting audited and if we don’t give a five star review, they will get a fine, I had never heard of it from other hotels and found it quite strange. She was insistent on us doing it on the spot even though we have to catch a train, that was not pleasant. We just went ahead to rush for our train. Not much to watch on the TV unfortunately.

Food: Breakfast was varied, with western, asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using Meituan set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

This hotel was really great. Room was very spacious and modern, while still feeling historic and staff was very professional. One thing I’d say is that it’s located in a like the most touristy area, which is fine, but when entering and exiting the hotel you will have to push through crowds who are trying to see the weaver in the pre lobby which was a bit annoying.
