We were lured to this hotel through recommendation of influencers that boast this hotel with it's majestic look of that looking like a Chinese traditional castle. Although the location is not quite what we really like as it is about 8-10mins walking from the nearest Metro Station (Nanmen Metro) but the price was quite affordable and enticing that we decided to give it a try. The hotel facade does looks magnificant, grand and big from afar, the interior is huge and traditionally well-kept even though the design looks a bit dated but I find that it stays classy and traditional that way. We were assigned to one of the furthest room all the way to the back at 5069. The walk was quite long since it was all the way at the back. Room is definitely big and allow opening of luggages all at one go. The amenities given was sufficient, except they can improve by giving more shower bath gel and shampoo as the small bottles was not enough. Was also hoping they could have install international plugs for their international guest being an international hotel chain as well. Their staffs were polite and professional. Woudl recommend anyone coming to Suzhou to give this hotel one shot at least! The most important thing is the hotel stay comes with complimentary park access which is connected at the back of the hotel which would cost RMB40 if you were to pay to go in! Worth it!

Highly recommend! This is the best value for money hotel in Wuxi!
This used to be the Grand Hyatt, rebranded last year.
The overall environment is clean, elegant, and well-maintained. The high-floor views are expansive, and it's located in the heart of the city's central business district, with excellent dining, shopping, and transportation options nearby. The overall experience was superb.
From check-in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The butler followed up on our needs throughout our stay, proactively asking if we needed assistance – very professional and meticulous, making the experience top-notch. The hotel proactively upgraded the twin room we booked for my parents to a high-floor room on the 62nd floor for free, offering even better views and a more comfortable stay. This thoughtful upgrade was truly heartwarming.
We stayed in the Candy House themed bunk bed room, and my child absolutely loved it the moment we walked in. After visiting several cities on this trip, my child directly rated this as their favorite place overall, saying they loved Wuxi the most. This high praise from a child truly reflects the hotel's dedication.
The only minor drawback was the parking experience: upon arrival, there were very few signs, and almost no hotel-specific signage in the parking lot, making it difficult to find our way. Also, the third basement level had an unpleasant smell, while the second basement level was fine. This was a slight inconvenience.
The hotel's proactive upgrade, the attentive service throughout, the excellent environment, and the comprehensive surrounding amenities, plus the kid-favorite themed room, made this stay a perfect 10.
Whether for a family vacation or a business trip, this is an excellent choice in Wuxi. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Wuxi!

The quality of this long-standing five-star hotel remains excellent; it's a comfortable choice in a prime location on Hanzhong Road.
I stayed in a Premier Twin Room in the Asia Pacific Tower at Jinling Hotel Nanjing during the tail end of the Chinese New Year holiday, and the experience was truly fantastic – I have to give it a good review!
First off, the location is incredibly convenient. The hotel is at 2 Hanzhong Road, right in the heart of Nanjing's central business district. Whether you're heading to Xinjiekou for shopping or visiting nearby attractions, transportation is a breeze. Taxis and subways are all very close by, which is a huge plus for me as I dislike wasting time on transit.
I stayed in a Premier Twin Room in the Asia Pacific Tower this time. The room offered expansive views and excellent natural light. The two 1.35-meter double beds were neatly made, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep. The in-room facilities were also well-maintained, clean, and odorless, making me feel very much at ease.
As a long-established five-star hotel, Jinling Hotel's service maintains a high standard. The front desk staff were warm and efficient with both check-in and check-out. Although my trip was quite rushed this time and I didn't get a chance to experience the hotel's pool or dining, the comfortable accommodation and convenient location alone made me feel it was excellent value for money.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Next time I'm in Nanjing and planning to stay in the city center, this will definitely be my first choice!

Absolutely amazing! The room was incredibly spacious. The front desk staff and the owner were super friendly and helpful. They called beforehand to ask about our arrival and gave us clear directions. Once we arrived, the service was excellent; they meticulously explained the facilities on our floor and even walked us up to the room. The bed was huge! The next day, it rained, and the owner lent us an umbrella. When we were heading to the high-speed rail station that evening, one of our friends didn't have an umbrella, so the hotel front desk offered to drive us directly to the subway entrance. It was fantastic, I loved it! I will definitely come back again and recommend it to my friends!!!

This InterContinental-owned Crowne Plaza hotel, located in a prime spot by Jinji Lake, truly lives up to its reputation for consistent quality. Everything from the facilities and services to the family-friendly amenities is top-notch. The hotel itself is shaped like a cruise ship, giving it a unique nautical theme. We took our child to the hotel's beautifully warm and almost magical heated pool (which also has a dry sauna), and they absolutely loved the fantastic kids' play area (free for guests). It has everything a child could dream of: games, a ball pit, a large slide, a picture book corner, an art area, and even two arcade machines – truly a paradise for little ones. We booked a standard king room, which came with a bathtub and bath salts, a Dyson hairdryer, and comfortable bathrobes. And I have to give a huge thumbs-up to the breakfast! The variety was incredible and so abundant. The Suzhou-style noodles with various toppings were delicious, and the handmade burgers and honeycomb honey were surprisingly good. The dessert section was like a full buffet with all sorts of freshly baked bread and pastries. The hotel's location is super convenient; it's only a 10-minute taxi ride from Suzhou Industrial Park High-Speed Rail Station and about 20 minutes to Suzhou Station. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next business trip or vacation to Suzhou. They even had crabs and strawberries!

Upon arrival, the front desk attendant was very friendly and efficient with the check-in process. The room was quite clean, and the sheets and duvet covers were soft. There's a dedicated corridor to the airport, so you don't have to go outside in the rain or sun, and it's just a short walk away. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The internet was stable, and there was plenty of hot water, making for a very comfortable stay.
Nice sized room, very clean and with comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. Located near malls, restaurants and the University.

The location is fantastic, right next to Xuanwumen subway station. It's just a few minutes' walk to Xuanwu Lake, and you can access the city wall from Xuanwumen. There are tons of shops, snacks, and restaurants next to the hotel, which is incredibly convenient.
The room, though not large, was very comfortable. The bed had just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The cleanliness was satisfactory, and it was very quiet at night. After a full day of city walking, I slept soundly, only slightly disturbed by a door closing next door in the morning. We received two afternoon tea vouchers for the revolving restaurant on the 20th floor. There were several options for afternoon tea; besides the milk tea that some online reviews mentioned, they also offered coffee, coconut milk, chocolate milk, and various teas. Enjoying Xuanwu Lake from the top floor was truly beautiful.
I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

This is our second stay at the Shangri-La Nanjing, and we're still just as delighted! It's so conveniently located right next to the subway station. The hotel has a refined ambiance, and the service is excellent and very welcoming. Just like last time, we booked a Horizon Club Deluxe Lake View room. It was a bit crowded during the Chinese New Year, and on the first day of the new year, we arrived a little late. The 40th-floor restaurant was full, and we almost missed breakfast. Thankfully, the customer service quickly arranged for us to eat at the second-floor restaurant, where we had a quick bite. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The room view is absolutely stunning! The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows offer breathtaking views of Xuanwu Lake, Purple Mountain, and the city skyline. The bedding is soft and comfortable. Most importantly, Customer Service Manager LORA was incredibly attentive and professional. The front desk check-in was efficient and quick, and they even helped me with my takeout order. Their service was warm and thorough, making for a perfect experience!

CCicixiI forgot to take pictures when I entered the room. Well, how should I put it? It was indeed quite busy during the Chinese New Year, so there was no 'leisurely drink time' (referring to a specific hotel service/amenity), and I didn't feel any 'butler service'. The souvenir gift was an Artemisia argyi moxa stick hammer and a travel-sized hotel shower gel. The room itself was okay, but perhaps because of the hot spring bath, there was a certain smell in the room. I'd suggest all rooms have windows. The breakfast service was pretty good though.

GGuest UserWe booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!
GGuest UserThe service at the hotel was excellent, they were polite and very helpful. Any questions that you asked, they answered without hesitation. Overall the staff, were the best if I have to compare with other big and small hotels that I have been to. My friend and I booked the hotel together. The rooms were very very nice. We loved them. It was easy to travel around the resort, they have golf carts that can take you around the resort. So many activities to do there. You need to speak a little bit of Chinese though. But in case you don’t they will find someone to help you there.
The hotel package we took included the hot springs, spar and breakfast. It was worth it.
The springs are the best. There is also an infinity pool. The people there are very helpful, great service. It was easy to spot two foreigners but they treated us with so much kindness, especially the man and woman at the fish spring and the little cafe there names: 张浩川, 张刘纪 and 彭玉琴.
So Hentique hotels and resort is huge. The area and the activities you can do there are plenty. You can get on a helicopter(480rmb), boat(272rmb) it includes going to the islands and mountain hiking, horse riding and many more. You just have to come with a good budget. Breakfast is at the big hotel that has a great view of the lake.
Hentique pinecone has different restaurants around, the food is between 100 -300 per person. I suggest you bring snacks because there aren’t any shops close by. The big hotel has a shop where you can buy snacks for a price, and an all day restaurant. We ended up moving from hentique pinecone hotel to the big hotel but paid a little bit more and was worth every penny. The hotel really good, with a nice view, the manager on duty that day August 16th 2023 was the best manager, I forgot his name. His English was very very good. He answered all questions and helped us transfer from 松果 to the big hotel.
Having being in China for a long time, this was the best trip ever, with the best service. We will surely go back to this place.
Best service ever. Keep up the good work!!!

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests.
The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries.
Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower.
The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums.
In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs.
Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me.
But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.
GGuest UserThe room, while a bit dated and standard, was thankfully odorless, which was a huge improvement over my last stay at Suxiang. Traveling with our 1.5-year-old, we appreciated having a play area. It was too hot to go out, so we ended up eating all our meals at the hotel. The food was quite delicious; we tried both Chinese and Western options, and they were all good. All the service staff were incredibly well-trained, polite, and friendly. A special mention to Xiaoqiu from customer service for her exceptionally thoughtful service. The travel photography experience was also excellent and completely hassle-free. We will definitely return!
AAnonymous UserFacilities: We booked a private hot spring villa, and having a hot spring tub right in the room was so convenient! The two kids had a blast soaking in it.
Hygiene: The room was spotless, and the hotel's public areas were also very tidy.
Environment: The space is vast with lots of greenery – a great place to breathe in some fresh air.
Service: You need to take a shuttle from the lobby to the room, but they even deliver food right to your door, which was incredibly thoughtful!
