Our 3-day stay in Lhasa was absolutely fantastic, especially traveling with my mom. The hotel's convenience, cleanliness, and excellent service really made our mother-daughter trip much more harmonious.
- The location is incredibly convenient. It's about 1.5 kilometers to Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and photo shoot spots, all easily walkable. We explored Lhasa entirely on foot during our stay.
- They were well-prepared for altitude sickness. The room has an oxygen concentrator that can be used for diffusion or nasal cannula. On the first night, I foolishly took a shower and felt nauseous and dizzy in the middle of the night, doubting my existence. The butler came to help me with the oxygen concentrator in the middle of the night, and I finally got two hours of sleep after using oxygen until dawn. I searched for altitude sickness on Xiaohongshu, feeling like I was on the verge of needing a hospital. The front desk on the second floor has a pulse oximeter, and I felt relieved after seeing my reading was in the 80s.
- I can't praise the butlers and front desk enough; their service was perfect! It wasn't the fake kind of luxury service you often find, but genuinely thoughtful and comfortable.
- The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the Potala Palace, making breakfast a delightful experience.
This hotel deserves all the praise! The moment we stepped into the parking lot, we were greeted by that signature scent of a five-star hotel. As soon as we entered, the authentic ******* decor immediately immersed us in a wonderful atmosphere.
The front desk staff were incredibly efficient with check-in, and they even upgraded our room for free! While we waited, we sipped on rhodiola tea and enjoyed a welcome dance – it was an amazing experience.
The room design was thoughtful, the amenities were high-end, and every little detail exuded quality.
This is the first hidden gem of a hotel that has made us fall in love with an entire city just because of our stay there!
The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was dry and comfortable, and it was seen that the hygiene was very careful. The front desk service was professional and welcoming, and the check-in was very fast. Whether it is hardware hygiene or soft service, it is impeccable, the first choice for business trips, and I live in peace of mind!
I chose this place for my first motorcycle trip to Tibet. I felt like I was back home. The room was well-equipped. The front desk lady was very friendly and the service attitude was particularly good. Breakfast was single serving and you could increase the amount according to your needs. The location was also very close to the Potala Palace and it was very convenient to go anywhere. The beef sold in the store was also very delicious and the price was very affordable. You can directly send it home without express delivery fee. Full score

The hotel has a very stylish ambiance and looks genuinely new, with a pleasant fragrance. The room facilities are comprehensive, and the oxygen supply is excellent. Every evening, we received complimentary drinks and fruit, and the breakfast was quite good. We also tried the special wellness therapies, which were very relaxing and worth experiencing. Overall, it was a great stay. The complimentary hat in the room was perfect for travel photos, and they even stored our ordered cake in the fridge. The only minor issue was that the therapy clothes provided in the room included a ridiculously small size for the bottom, which I couldn't wear at all, haha.

The experience of staying in Lhasa is really full, highly recommended! The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the Potala Palace, Tibet Museum, and Robrinka. It is super convenient to travel and play. It is all available for eating and shopping around. You don't need to travel long distances. It saves time and worry about visiting attractions.
The overall facilities of the hotel are very new, the decoration is simple and light and luxurious with a strong Tibetan scenery, the room is spacious and bright, warm and comfortable. The bedding is soft and clean, the sleep experience is very good, the bedside atmosphere lighting design is very exquisite, with the plateau beauty hanging paintings, the atmosphere is full. The room has a large screen TV, desk and seating facilities, whether it is a rest and relaxation or a simple office is very suitable.
The bathroom is very good for dry and wet separation, clean and tidy without odor, smart toilet, large top spray, light dressing mirror, hair dryer, bathroom decoration is high-end atmosphere, sanitation is particularly meticulous, and the corners are spotless.
The front desk staff was warm and caring, the attitude was gentle and thoughtful, and the stay was comfortable. The plateau accommodation is clean and not humid, the overall experience is far beyond expectations, the price is super high, come to Lhasa to travel and close your eyes and stay without stepping on thunder, next time you come to Lhasa, you will definitely choose this one!

Our room was upgraded to a family room, room 327. To be honest, the hotel is located quite deep in an alley, about a 500-meter walk from the main road... All the room windows are single-paned and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years... The towels and bath towels were all dated 2023 and weren't very soft anymore. We booked through Ctrip, which helped with the room upgrade and included complimentary breakfast. Don't expect too much from this hotel; it's quite different from a Holiday Inn Express on the mainland. The breakfast was just passable, nothing to write home about.
After all those downsides, let's talk about the positives: it's incredibly cheap. Booked on Ctrip during the off-peak season (August 31st - September 3rd), and with a Lhasa culture and tourism subsidy voucher, it came down to about 160 RMB per night. Secondly, you need a key card to access the floors, which makes it quiet and secure.
If you're traveling independently and plan to be out sightseeing daily, the location is a bit far. It's about 2.5 km to Potala Palace (15 RMB by taxi) and roughly 3.5 km to Jokhang Temple. Lhasa's cost of living is much higher than Chengdu's. You'll notice it significantly in taxi fares and dining expenses. This was my first visit, and I didn't experience altitude sickness. I found it truly beautiful. Here are a few recommendations:
🚩FYI: I didn't take Rhodiola before entering Tibet and didn't experience altitude sickness upon landing. The hotel I stayed at upon arrival didn't provide oxygen, and I didn't even buy an oxygen tank, yet I adapted just fine. So, flying into Tibet is the most relaxed way. Traveling by train or self-driving is exhausting, and you're just as likely to get altitude sickness anyway.
🔹Attractions: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Ramoche Temple, Sera Monastery, Tibet Museum, Princess Wencheng Show, Chakpori Hill viewpoint, Barkhor Street... I recommend exploring at your own pace, taking it easy... stopping frequently and avoiding strenuous exercise.
🔸Food: Sichuan cuisine dominates. Aside from those speaking *******, everyone else speaks Sichuan dialect. Goods are not easy to transport in, so prices are comparable to first-tier cities. The air is dry and UV radiation is incredibly strong... I didn't get a tan all summer, but two days here turned me completely dark! [laughing emoji]

I highly recommend this hotel for a day trip to Shigatse, it's not far from the railway station.
1. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the train station, which was perfect as I had a Mount Everest tour the next day. It was very convenient to have the hotel's business car take me to the station, just arrange it with the front desk.
2. On the day of arrival, they provided complimentary snacks and dinner vouchers. After visiting Tashilhunpo Monastery in the afternoon, I didn't want to go out, so I just had a bowl of noodles at the hotel.
3. Before checking out today, the front desk lady even gave me a small gift: an eye mask, hand cream, ginger tea, and wet wipes. Since I was on my period today, these came in handy. They're all essential travel items.
4. The room was great, very clean. I asked for two extra bottles of water at night, and they were brought over immediately.
On a business trip to Shigatse, I specifically chose a hotel close to the city center. The area is lively, and it's very convenient to get to Tashilhunpo Monastery. The quality of Qomolangma Hotel is consistently excellent, as always. They have air conditioning, humidifiers, and all the facilities you could need. I especially want to commend the staff member, Tashi Dhondup. His service attitude was outstanding. I asked him about nearby attractions, and he patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions, even reminding me to stay warm. Thanks! ^_^

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and restaurant with great view towards Potala Palace. Definitely recommend.
Very good hotel, can view the famous Potala palace from bar and certain room. Delicious breakfast and more variety to be selected from restaurant and highly recommended dining in their Chinese restaurant, there serve so yummy goose liver
The room faces the sun, so you don't have to worry about being cold in winter. The air conditioning is very powerful. The service attitude of the front desk is superb. The room is very good in terms of hygiene and facilities. The hotel also provides free fitness and swimming coupons and movie coupons. It is the first choice every time and there is no disappointment.
The Qiaomu Langzong Hotel, which opened this year, is located in the Jilonggou Commercial Center. It has convenient parking, large rooms, and you can see the snow-capped mountains and Asia’s first observation deck outside the window. The hotel's hardware and software are excellent. The most heartwarming thing when checking in is that the front desk staff patiently introduces you to the tourist attractions of Jilong Valley and gives you a travel brochure. The service attitude is very good, the breakfast is also very rich, and drinks from the minibar are given when you check out in the morning. It should be the best hotel in Jilonggou, worth recommending, 5-star praise
The room is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. As I had to leave early for a flight, the staff kindly prepared a simple takeaway breakfast for me because I was earlier than breakfast time, which I was appreciative of. Able to have a good night rest and wash up after a long day travelling, and being in a central location, I could just walk out and find a restaurant easily.
It was such a pleasant stay! The entire hotel has beautiful interiors, the room was spotless, oxygen worked perfectly, and the view from the 8th floor was gorgeous. All of the staff were extremely helpful to me, a non-Chinese speaker with translation apps and did their best to make my stay comfortable. Will definitely recommend it to everyone who’s planning to visit Lhasa.
The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Rooms feature a 24-hour oxygen supply, with quiet wall-mounted diffusers or nasal cannulas available, and the system is virtually silent. The rooms themselves are clean, featuring smart toilets and automatic curtains. There's a self-service laundry room equipped with dryers. The hotel has a large parking lot and its location is convenient for transportation. Additionally, there's a viewing deck with a great view of the Potala Palace. Our butler, Zaxi, was outstanding, incredibly thoughtful, and responsive to our every need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
