Jiuhua Mountain comes as soon as you think of it! Before coming, I did some homework. There are old hotels on the mountain, and many design B&Bs have also grown up. And this one is the most emotional. As soon as the order was placed, the butler contacted us on WeChat and arranged for a car to pick us up when we reached the mountain. We ”rejected” the housekeeper's kindness and walked all the way into Jiuhua Old Street. When we were about to get lost in the dotted alleys, the B&B suddenly appeared in front of us. ”Alley”, as its name suggests, is hidden among alleys. The afternoon sun was just right. When we walked in, the snow that fell last week had not completely melted. The white walls and green tiles, a small courtyard, and a big tree shone in the warm winter sun. After getting familiar with the terrain, I found that the location of the B&B is very good, with major temples, the cable car to the Centennial Palace, and the bus to the rooftop for transfer all nearby. What also left a deep impression on me were the three young girls in the B&B. They were full of laughter, very cute, and felt like family.

The location is undeniably perfect, right at Lion Forest, making it super convenient for catching both sunrise and sunset. Since there aren't many people around, the room was really quiet. I absolutely loved the big balcony facing the majestic mountains, and I even saw squirrels hopping among the branches – that view alone is worth at least 3,000 yuan, in my opinion! 😂 However, the room rate of nearly 7,000 yuan felt a bit inflated, probably due to it being peak summer season. On the other hand, the butler service was very warm and enthusiastic. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I left my phone charger in the room, and they kindly mailed it back to me. If I ever get the chance again, I'd love to see Huangshan in the snow.

The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel! We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains! He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out. We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. It's a little far from Namdaemun, about ten minutes' drive, but the owner of the B&B is very nice, pick up and drop off. I arrived a day in advance and wanted to store my luggage up the mountain. I called and he immediately drove to move my luggage. It was very quick, so it's no problem if you don't drive yourself. The room is relatively new and clean, and there is a large terrace. Next to it is a small river with very clear water. The environment feels better than some hotels at the foot of the mountain. The breakfast is relatively simple, and you can add more if it's not enough. I just came back from climbing the mountain and I was not feeling well and wanted to eat something light. Overall, I still recommend it

I was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price. Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good. Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room. The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself. I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint. There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets. Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.

My stay at Luming Valley this time was incredibly comfortable, especially the room – I was very satisfied! The hotel is nestled in a natural environment, with fresh air and away from the hustle and bustle, making it perfect for travelers looking to relax. The room I stayed in had a fantastic view, overlooking the mountains and forest. Waking up to the sunshine and birdsong in the morning was incredibly healing. The room's interior design was simple and clean, the facilities were new, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep. The bathroom was also spacious, with plenty of hot water and good quality toiletries. You could feel the attention to detail, like the cozy lighting, ample power outlets, and a small tea table for enjoying tea and the view. The hotel staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out went smoothly. There are walking trails within the complex, which are lovely for an evening stroll. If you come by car, parking is convenient. While the breakfast selection at the restaurant wasn't vast, the food was light and refreshing, and the combinations were well-balanced. Overall, Luming Valley offers great value for money, especially for those who appreciate quiet and want a brief escape from the city. If I visit this area again, I'll definitely prioritize staying here. Highly recommend it to friends who enjoy nature-focused getaways.

My stay in Tingquan Xiaoyuan has been absolutely delightful. I booked a long stay here as a retreat and break from the work and it is exactly everything I need to unwind and recharge. The guesthouse ran by a husband and wife team are so hospitable and go the extra mile to make sure my stay here is relaxing and I have everything I need to work and go about my day. The room i am staying in is very brightly lighted with a desk for me to work. I have to say the bed is also very comfortable and I have been sleeping well every night. The surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil, with gardens and flowers and mountain peaks in the distance. I am rather glad I am staying here in the valley instead of near the centre. In terms of service, the boss is very helpful and responsive to my messages when we need to ask any question or require a pick up after the hikes. The lady boss is similarly extremely friendly, warm and kind and ensure my needs and well being is looked after every day. She cared for me like her own family. I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help a foreigner like me who struggle with the language. I would strongly recommend this lovely and cosy guesthouse to any local and foreigner who is looking for an amazing visit to Huangshan for a few days or up to a month. They will ensure you are well taken care of and your stay is absolutely delightful.

Our stay at Shan Yu Sheng Huo was by far the best part of our trip to Mount Huangshan. The actual experience far exceeded our expectations, making it a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. Tucked away among tea plantations and bamboo groves, the guesthouse is not far from Tangkou Town, yet far enough to escape the hustle and bustle. The minimalist, upscale architecture blends harmoniously with the natural surroundings. Stepping into the courtyard, the air is filled with the fresh scent of greenery. After a tiring hike up Mount Huangshan, returning here instantly brought a sense of peace and relaxation. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with every corner of the floor and bathroom spotless. The large floor-to-ceiling windows look straight out into the mountain forests. Waking up in the morning and drawing the curtains to see a light mist drifting over the tea gardens was incredibly therapeutic. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the toiletries were of high quality, and the thoughtful details were evident. It was quiet at night, ensuring a wonderful quality of sleep. The staff were warm, genuine, and efficient at check-in. They also proactively explained hiking routes and useful tips to us. The public areas are full of ambiance; the tea room and courtyard are great for strolling or sitting awhile, and every snapshot looks like a postcard. All three meals are available at the guesthouse. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local flatbreads and wholesome side dishes, making for a very comforting start to the day. For dinner, we ordered Anhui cuisine, which tasted authentic. Dishes like the stenciled mandarin fish and free-range chicken soup featured fresh ingredients and rivaled any outside restaurant, saving us the trouble of heading into town and making things so much easier. The location is very convenient for hikers, being quite close to the Mount Huangshan South Gate Transfer Center, making travel easy, and there is ample parking for self-driving guests. After a whole day of exhausting climbing, coming back to the guesthouse to rest and feel the mountain breeze made most of the fatigue melt away. It combines the aesthetic appeal of a designer guesthouse with down-to-earth, attentive service—it's not one of those Instagram-famous spots that just looks good but lacks comfort. It's ideal whether you're here for hiking or just a leisurely getaway. I genuinely recommend this place for anyone visiting Mount Huangshan, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time.
