With the high temperatures in Suzhou and Hangzhou, this is a great escape to the heat in the northwest, featuring a lovely guesthouse village. Nan'an is the largest guesthouse complex in the area, with 40 rooms out of a total of 100. This time, we stayed at Taojiaying West House, with a swimming pool in front and a farm/ranch/ranch in the back – very pleasant. The room details were also very well done, suitable for large families or groups of friends. Both restaurants in the village are good for breakfast: 🌻Xiangke (more variety), 🍜Lao Wang Ji Breakfast & Midnight Canteen. Special praise to Nan'an's management team, including Da Yuan and her group; they communicated with us before our arrival and were very attentive. During our stay, our drone got stuck in a tree in the yard, and the management team helped us find a solution from evening until morning, finally fixing it with a tree trunk over ten meters long. - Climb the Great Wall (five-minute climb to the top) for panoramic views of the Yellow River and the village. - Feeding lambs, riding camels, milking goats. I call it the Yellow River version of ”Wuzhen Village”; the entire village has an integrated design with a Mediterranean feel, perfect for photos.

A single stay includes a wine cellar tour, wine tasting, DIY wine making, fruit and vegetable picking, and a relaxing lakeside retreat. Located within the Xinheng Winery, the guesthouse is named after the owners, a name that evokes a sense of marital bliss. 【Guesthouse】The guesthouse facilities are excellent. The air conditioning is very comfortable, and the bathroom features a separate shower and toilet. Aesthetic design and thoughtful details are evident throughout. I especially loved the view from the large windows of the flowerbeds and succulents; the vegetation was lush and vibrant. There were also footstools and air purifiers. The manager mentioned that the guesthouse was established in May 2023. Located away from the city center, it's a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. 【Wine Cellar Tour & Wine Tasting & DIY Wine Making Activities】These three activities are complimentary for guests. In addition to a complimentary bottle of welcome wine, guests can take home their homemade wine and even design their own cute labels. The wine selection is extensive, including both dry red and dry white wines, and one that particularly impressed me was the Horse Rosé, a sweet, dry rosé. [Harvesting Activities] Guests can pick their own fruit for free. This season offers a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, including corn, green beans, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, green peppers, and cucumbers. The selection is excellent, making it especially suitable for family trips.

Very artistic hotel, each room has a different theme, complete facilities, very comfortable to stay, I will book again next time. The boss and service staff are very nice ~ I especially like the lobby is very artistic and warm, the childlike room is the child's request to stay, very satisfied, because I stayed for three days, and tried several other themes and liked them all ~ and the breakfast is nutritious and healthy. The overall experience is very good ~ parking is also convenient.

The experience was fantastic! The tents were clean and spacious, and the availability of hot showers and WiFi in the desert was a pleasant surprise. The Milky Way was breathtaking, and every photo you took looked like a masterpiece. The owner was welcoming, and the program was extensive. Highly recommended!

This self-guided desert tour is absolutely amazing! The desert scenery is majestic and magnificent, and the afterglow of the setting sun shines on the golden sand dunes, as beautiful as a painting. The campsite facilities are complete and the staff are warm and caring. The food is diverse, the roasted whole lamb is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the aroma is overflowing. Camel riding, sand boarding and other activities are super exciting. Moreover, the self-guided itinerary is free and allows you to deeply experience the charm of the desert. Highly recommended, looking forward to coming again next time!

Before I went, I looked at the pictures very beautiful. Because of temporary overtime, it was dark at the hotel and missed the sunset, but I was shocked by the warm lights and stars of the hotel. It was really like a fairy tale cabin! ! The toiletries in the room also smelled good lavender! Although I can’t pick grapes in winter, there is no bonfire. The weather is a bit cold, but it’s worthwhile to see this beautiful starry sky. I also met our Dali fellow sister here. It’s really not easy to meet fellows in Yinchuan. I hope I have the opportunity to find you again in the future! My friend also gave a ”northwest is much more fun than the northeast” evaluation. Overall, the experience is very good. The room is very beautiful and warm. The hot red wine is very delicious. The breakfast is exquisite and delicious. I look forward to picking grapes in summer and autumn! !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family run guesthouse. There is a lovely courtyard where you can relax and meet other guests. The breakfast was delicious. The decorations around the property are beautiful. The room was large, clean and well equipped. Our lovely host helped organise our taxi to the forest park, as well as our onward bus journey to Pingliang. We highly recommend this homestay.

Sit quietly in the folds of time, and listen to the hourglass chanting like a sutra, healing the cracks in this world. Dusk spreads over the ridges, and fireflies mend the sky. The wind-eroded promise turns green again on the grass tips, and when the new moon rises, it reunites in the sparkling waves - that is the unsealed secret language of heaven and earth, the star falling on the fingertips of Buddha.

My stay at Nanxi Bieyuan Hedong Airport branch was fantastic! It's super close to the airport, which made getting around incredibly convenient – no stress at all for an early morning flight. The room was clean and tidy, cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The bedding was soft, ensuring a great night's sleep. The owner was really welcoming and attentive, quick to respond to any requests. The overall environment was quiet and peaceful. For just over 200, it's excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I'm passing through, and I truly recommend it to anyone needing a layover!
