The hotel's amenities completely exceeded my expectations. The indoor swimming pool had crystal-clear water and a comfortable environment, perfect for a relaxing swim. The outdoor hot spring was truly a hidden gem; soaking in the warm water melted away all the travel fatigue. Plus, you can feed seagulls in the park right across the street! The hotel scored full marks in terms of views, cleanliness, service, and facilities. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Kunming, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip there!
This is a very nice hotel, great location, good rooms and excellent, helpful staff. But the hotel gets bad marks in two areas. First, the food was generally very good but the Western breakfast buffet choices were nearly always cold. I tried three days in a row to get poached eggs that were not hard boiled. On the third day I got what I wanted but even then the eggs were stone cold. The second issue was the the lack of necessary security staff. The lobby bar was nice and had a young woman playing guitar in the evenings but on our second evening 4 drunks were drinking, shouting and smoking and refused to stop when the hotel staff intervened. After this things escalated and instead of having hotel security throw them out the drunks started harassing us and it got ugly so we left for our room. The hotel called our room to apologize but it was not equipped to deal with this situation and needs to have better control over their public areas. A lesson to be learned. I will be sending a separate letter to Accor management giving full details of this unfortunate event.

The staff here were quite enthusiastic. They proactively helped clean the pool and manage the water, and the water temperature was adjustable.
They were also very quick to respond on WeChat and even offered to bring takeout from the front desk to my room.
However, there are a few areas that need improvement.
First, due to the environment, there were a lot of mosquitoes. The mosquito coils weren't very effective, and I ended up with over ten bites after just two nights.
Second, there might be some issues with the facilities. On my first night, the power went out in the middle of the night. This area is quite remote and there are no lights, which was really scary. Also, the smart toilet kept leaking without power, so I had to turn off the water valve. The door hinges made a lot of noise. The automatic night light was too sensitive and would turn on instantly with the slightest movement.
Third, the staff might not have been very attentive; they misidentified me three times in a row (gender and last name).
Despite these issues, it is indeed a natural sulfur hot spring, and I felt very relaxed after soaking. For that reason, I would still recommend it, but next time I'll choose a season with fewer mosquitoes.

If a business wants customers to give them an exceptional review, they need to provide exceptional service! You get what you give. How can you even ask for a five-star review when you can't even manage a simple upgrade? Is it because all your hotel facilities are outdated? Is it because the floor heating in the bathroom doesn't work and the drain doesn't drain properly? Is it because there are cobwebs in your room? Is it because all the lounge chairs in your courtyard are broken? Think hard about why your hotel, despite having a good location and large rooms, can't command a higher price. It's not about just doing what you're supposed to do to earn a good review; you need to provide service that exceeds customer expectations to get one! Proactive service isn't just talk, it requires action.

Right by the Starlight Night Market! Riverside views and sunset from your bed! The rice noodle breakfast is amazing!
This newly discovered hotel in Xishuangbanna is a true gem! It's right next to the Starlight Night Market, so a right turn out the door leads straight to all the buzz, and when you return, it's immediately peaceful. The location is incredibly convenient!
Our room was super spacious, with an amazing sense of design! The floor-to-ceiling window offered direct views of the sunset over the river. We enjoyed the river views by day and the twinkling lights of the night market after dark – it felt like living inside a painting! 🖼️
I have to rave about the hotel breakfast! 🍜 Especially the freshly prepared rice noodles; the broth is rich and savory, and you can add as many toppings as you like. It truly woke up my soul every morning! The other pastries and dishes were also plentiful and thoughtfully prepared.
The environment feels more like a tropical rainforest garden, with greenery everywhere. The staff are all smiling and incredibly accommodating. The room was spotlessly clean; you wouldn't even hesitate to walk barefoot!
If you're coming to Xishuangbanna and want a hotel with an unbeatable location, comfortable stay, delicious food, and a good night's sleep, this is definitely the one to choose! ✨
🏨 Right next to the Starlight Night Market, just a few minutes' walk away.
The service is good. There is a guy at the door who takes the luggage and greets you with a smile. The breakfast is also very rich. I especially like the taste of pig intestine noodles. It feels very close to nature to have breakfast outdoors outside the restaurant. I will come again if I have the chance.

Stepping into the courtyard, the blue tiles and white walls, reflected by the gentle flow of water around wooden corridors, immediately strike you. The charm of traditional Naxi architecture blends with modern minimalist design, creating a unique and delicate atmosphere. Every photo you take here turns out to be a stunning, naturally filtered shot.
The details in the room are truly captivating. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows bring the scenery of distant mountains and nearby alleys right into your space. You wake up to the morning sun and fall asleep to the soft glow of the ancient town at night. The custom-made cotton and linen bedding is soft and gentle on the skin, and the smart devices and thermostatic shower in the bathroom instantly melt away any travel fatigue.
My favorite spot is the cafe on the second floor, perfect for an afternoon tea.
The hotel's service is incredibly thoughtful. In the morning, they offer a special, authentic, and delicious rice noodle breakfast! They even provide a late-night snack; when we were out in the evening, the staff thoughtfully prepared a sweet white fungus soup for us.
This was the most relaxing and considerate part of my Lijiang trip.

A hidden gem of a hotel by Dianchi Lake! The rooms are spacious and spotless, the bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast is astonishingly rich – the cured ham pastries are a must-try. The service is attentive and thoughtful, with efficient concierge and warm housekeeping. It's within walking distance to Dianchi Lake, and the garden-style setting is tranquil and delightful. A five-star experience, truly living up to its reputation!
A heavenly hotel by Dianchi Lake! The location is absolutely perfect, with stunning lake views right outside the window, and lush garden greenery. The room facilities are complete, clean, and odor-free, and the service is warm and professional. The dining experience is fantastic, making it ideal for both leisure and business travel. My top choice for a stay in Kunming!
Among the five hotels we experienced during our Yunnan trip, we all agreed this was the standout!
1. Having stayed at numerous branded hotels, this was the first time we were met by a concierge right as we pulled into the parking lot. A fantastic touch!
2. There was a great selection of dining options; we opted for the restaurant/bar. Even at 9 PM, the food was absolutely delicious and fresh, with no compromise on quality.
3. It was a family member's birthday during our visit, and the hotel thoughtfully sent up a complimentary birthday cake!
The only point for improvement concerns the swimming pool. It was simultaneously open to external training classes, which meant it got quite crowded. As a result, the water quality was noticeably poor, appearing yellowish and cloudy.
Walked in and was immediately captivated by the beautiful floral wall, covered in blooming firecracker vines – absolutely stunning! The front desk lady was also very welcoming. The room's sea view was fantastic, thumbs up! When we went to karaoke, they even brought us afternoon tea and fruit, which was incredibly thoughtful. Our flight arrived at 10:30 AM, and there was still breakfast available. It's perfect for young people. All in all, it really boosted our mood. Highly recommend!

OOlive GohWhen I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made.
The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car.
When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff.
The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion.
This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time!
One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay.
Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.

AAnggesangsongjiangShangri-La Impression Tianlu Hotel is nestled between Shika Snow Mountain and Napa Lake, where traditional ******* white buildings blend with snow-capped mountains and grasslands to form a breathtaking landscape. The highlight is the rooftop infinity hot spring, offering panoramic views of the plateau while you soak, though it can be quite windy in winter, so be prepared. The guest rooms combine ******* elements with modern amenities, featuring central heating to combat the high-altitude chill and soundproof windows for a peaceful night's sleep. The service is attentive, with paid shuttle services and customized itineraries available. Breakfast includes local specialties like highland barley cake. It offers great value for money during the off-season, but for scenic rooms during peak season, booking in advance is a must. This hotel is perfect for travelers seeking a unique experience, and having a car makes it even more convenient, as it's only a 10-minute drive from the ancient town. It's excellent, truly excellent. I stayed for 2 days and had a wonderful experience. The room even has a fireplace, which is a really nice touch.

GGuest UserThis is our second stay at this wonderful hotel. The butler service was incredibly thoughtful; we booked five rooms in total, and they upgraded our family room to an executive suite. Every staff member was polite. There's a laundry room, which is really important for families traveling with children. All the rooms are spacious, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast is abundant with plenty of choices. The location is excellent; it's about a 15-minute leisurely walk to the Old Town with kids. There's a large supermarket nearby and a hotpot street right across, offering many food options. The smart 'Xiao Du' speaker was also a great companion for the kids!
MM55355****Cangshan No. 1 is a hotel with advanced concepts. The management model is a team of butlers who create a feeling of home for guests and think of everything in front of them.
The environment is beautiful and beautiful, with swimming pools, white beaches, coconut trees... creating a different paradise.
Every employee has a strong sense of priority and their service attitude is excellent, gentle and comfortable. Not only did he take the initiative to inquire, but he also introduced the characteristics and customs of the Bai people in a very thoughtful way.
The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Each room has its own bathing pool, dry and wet are separated, and even the toilet is fully automatic. Very clean!
Breakfast and afternoon tea are richly prepared and have local characteristics. There is also a heart-warming evening sweet soup every night. My family and I felt that choosing Cangshan No. 1 for this trip was a great value!

MM349668****The new Bai residential complex at Dali Geothermal Park is absolutely stunning! The blue-tiled roofs, white walls, and ink-wash paintings, coupled with the 'three sides and a screen wall' courtyard layout, exude an ancient charm. The intricate wood carvings and screen wall decorations perfectly showcase Bai ethnic aesthetics. Each room comes with its own private hot spring tub, fed by natural geothermal water rich in trace elements. Soaking at night, with the rustling of reeds in the wind, is utterly relaxing for both body and mind. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and the facilities are comprehensive. You can experience the beauty of intangible cultural heritage architecture while enjoying the health benefits of hot springs – truly a treasure for a vacation!
MM647761****The room was incredibly clean, practically on the doorstep of Erhai Lake, with a balcony offering a stunning sea view.
The service was excellent. They provided luggage pick-up and drop-off, the front desk and butler were very friendly, and they even helped with laundry. Complimentary water and drinks were provided in the room. The breakfast offered a good variety, the environment was beautiful, and it was quiet at night. Coming during the off-season offered great value for money. They even gave out small gifts for Christmas, which was a thoughtful touch.
**Environment:** The room was exceptionally clean, virtually right on Erhai Lake, and the balcony had a fantastic sea view. Breakfast was varied, the surroundings were lovely, and it was peaceful at night. Visiting in the off-season provided excellent value for money. They even had little Christmas gifts, which was a very thoughtful gesture.
**Service:** The service was absolutely wonderful. They offered luggage transfer, the front desk and butler were super friendly, and they even assisted with laundry. Free water and beverages were supplied in the room.
**Cleanliness:** Clean and odor-free, the room walls were sparkling white.
SShadiespiritWe had an enjoyable 2 nights stay in this resort. The facilities and amenities were good. What we liked best was the Hotspring that is located near the hotel. You can walk or take the shuttle golf cart to the location. In there there were several pools for everyone’s leisure. When we went it was not too busy. I had the whole pool all to myself.
The breakfast was also good but mainly local dishes. We opted to eat somewhere nearby for dinner and lunch. There are a few restaurants near the hotel that you can walk/bike or take the shuttle golf cart to.
They do have a few bikes that you can take for free to roam the area.
The pool was quiet but we found that it lacked workers to help with items such as towels, cushion and other pool supplies.
Overall, I recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet vacation away from crowds.
