The hotel is located right within the Dongfengyun Scenic Area, and I honestly think it's the best hotel both inside and around the area! You can enter and exit the scenic area 24/7, allowing you to fully enjoy both the day and night views. During Chinese New Year, there were even light and dance shows, making the night scenery mysteriously stunning. The hotel itself is an Instagram-worthy spot with a fantastic design; every photo turns out great, so definitely set aside time to explore it slowly. There's a shuttle cart service from the hotel to the scenic area, and within the area, you can use the shuttle carts or rent a small electric scooter for a fee. I wouldn't recommend walking as it's sunny and vast, not very suitable for the elderly. **Facilities** We stayed in a suite with two rooms, and it was super spacious – easily accommodating our family of six. Snacks, drinks, and water were proactively refilled, which was a thoughtful touch. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling during Chinese New Year, so it was a bit warm during the day. We had to open the windows for ventilation to sleep. The hot spring area incurs an additional charge, so you can experience it if you wish. **Cleanliness** It was clean and tidy, with prompt housekeeping. There were no unpleasant odors, and both public areas and rooms were cleaned very promptly. Drinking water supply was unlimited and delivered to the room as needed. **Dining** The breakfast spread was rich, and the restaurant's location was superb, creating a fantastic ambiance for eating and taking photos. Lunch and dinner were on the pricier side and not very extensive, but the taste was decent. If you have time, I'd recommend heading into Mile city to try local delicacies instead. **Surroundings** It's a 10-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, but a bit far from the city center and the Mile Giant Buddha. For a day trip or two-day trip, I'd suggest booking a private car. The nearby wineries aren't particularly special, so you can skip them. The hotel itself is worth staying at for two or three days, perfect for a vacation. **Summary** High aesthetic appeal, excellent location, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended for family trips, couples' getaways, especially for those who love taking photos, travel photography, and exploring Dongfengyun in depth!

The room is as clean and bright as in the photo. The hot spring pool and swimming pool are very good. The children can't stop playing. Easy to wash clothes. Breakfast is rich and friendly to children. Close to the airport, I often see planes flying over. The children feel cool and there is no flight at night. The environment is very quiet. Mangshi is not big. It takes ten minutes to drive from the hotel to the attractions or eat. Very cost-effective hotel is highly recommended.

Coming to Xishuangbanna in December was perfect weather-wise. On the last day of my trip, before flying back north, I decided to spend a day at the hot springs. I chose the Ganlu room, which has pure hydrogen sulfide hot springs – definitely a sulfuric smell, but after soaking, my skin felt incredibly smooth, and I slept like a baby. Besides the private bath, there are also three small public hot spring pools and one large one. The butler mentioned that this area was originally a hot spring site. In the Peacock Valley courtyard, there are about 5-6 peacocks and a little calico cat. Breakfast is complimentary, and the environment is very comfortable. The only downside is that the road to the village is quite remote; I thought I had taken a wrong turn at one point.

The hotel's location is great, and the service is good, with a shuttle bus to Lake Spring Banshan Hot Spring. Parking is convenient. Breakfast had a decent variety, but the taste was pretty average. The seafood congee was the only thing that stood out. The Western pastries were quite poor. The room facilities are outdated, comparable to a 3-star hotel. There's no elevator to the 6th floor, which wasn't mentioned on the booking page. We ended up paying an extra 50 yuan at the front desk to switch to a 5th-floor room. The heated rooftop infinity pool was a highlight of my trip – the azure mosaic tiles blend seamlessly with the river, and palm and banana trees unfurl their tropical charm by the poolside. I ordered a floating afternoon tea, and a wicker tray carrying cream cake and freshly cut fruit gently drifted over to me with the subtle ripple of the water. Sunlight filtered through the coconut leaves, casting shimmering golden reflections on the champagne flutes. The cool water washed away the afternoon heat, leaving only a sense of languor and serenity. As evening approached, the sunset painted the river honey-gold, the buildings of Gaozhuang across the bank lit up with warm light, and the distant bridge lights strung together like a river of stars. The evening breeze, carrying the moist scent of the river, brushed through my hair. In that moment, I understood the true meaning of 'luxury' – a perfect blend of nature and relaxation. Returning to the room at night, the minimalist grey-toned space featured a unique design aesthetic with a镂空（镂空 should be translated as 'cut-out' or 'openwork' to describe the staircase） cut-out art staircase colliding with curved archways. The room is clean and tidy. It's the first time I've seen sofa covers changed every time. The design style is very unique, the service attitude is also great, the luggage is transported, there is water and ice cream downstairs, the breakfast is also rich, and there is laundry service. The overall quality is absolutely first-class, you can rest assured to stay there, the swimming pool upstairs is very clean, you must go to cool down in the evening, you can see the Golden Pagoda and the Silver Pagoda upstairs, and it's perfect with some beer and ice cubes. It's convenient to go out and you can rent an electric car 🛵, it's very convenient to go anywhere, ride a few minutes later to have delicious barbecue, and come back to drink fresh watermelon juice, there is a small courtyard, a sand pool (with toys for children) and a bar downstairs, it's very charming, everyone must come when you go to Mangshi! It's really worth it!

The staff was enthusiastic and took the initiative to help with luggage, introduce us to local specialties, attractions, food, etc. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the night was very quiet and the bedding was very good. The hotel also had a free self-service laundry room. It was very convenient. The hot spring on the roof at night can eliminate the fatigue of the day. I choose this one for business trips here. The price is very high.

If you're staying in Gaozhuang, this hotel comes highly recommended. If you prioritize quality, stay in the West Tower. The East Tower is apartments. The location is excellent. While it's hard to get a taxi to the Botanical Garden, it's just a few minutes' walk to the bus stop for public transport. A big thank you to Xiaoyu at the front desk for her excellent service and for upgrading us to a river view room. From the balcony, you get the most perfect night view: the night market, bonfire party, and the Six Nations music stage. You can even stand on the balcony and join in the fun below! But when it's time to sleep, closing the window blocks out the noise completely. Early sleepers might find the river view rooms a bit noisy. My daughter said after staying here, she felt like the 1600 RMB we spent on the Atour Jingta Temple for the previous two nights was a complete rip-off. This room is also incredibly spacious. The only downside is that this room type doesn't have a bathtub. During Chinese New Year, breakfast was a little crowded.
