Environment: The room was riverside, with a great view from the window. There was also a tatami table, perfect for making tea or playing games! That's why I booked this hotel. That's the only positive point; the rest are just negatives!
Service: First, I arrived at 2:00 AM to check in, and the room wasn't cleaned yet. I waited half an hour, and it was hot. The front desk lady was very nice and even let me use the only fan!
Facilities: This old hotel has only one drawback; it's a bit run-down, but acceptable. However, I overlooked one thing: a musty smell! Opening the window to dissipate the odor didn't help much. Tragically, because there were no screens, mosquitoes and insects flew in from the riverside, including flying cockroaches! Luckily, there was a sliding door that I quickly closed to prevent the cockroaches from entering the room!
Cleanliness: The cleaning lady did a decent job, but the bathroom was so old-fashioned and dated that I forgot to take a picture. The paper towels were all smelly and low-quality! Sigh...
Regarding the noise: Since it's located by the river, the environment is nice, but it's also quite noisy. It started as early as 6 a.m. and kept me awake.
Breakfast: Standard B&B fare, okay. The vegetable porridge and yogurt were both quite good!
My dreams were filled with a musty smell all night long. I barely managed a good night's sleep, so I decided to move to a different B&B the next day. Just across the river, the room, facilities, smell, and cleanliness were far superior to this one, and the price was even cheaper. Isn't that infuriating? Not only was there no smell, it was fragrant! The bathroom was even more luxurious!

The B&B is located on a charming old town-style street and offers a free shuttle boat, making its location fantastic! The room is spacious, and while the exterior boasts traditional Huizhou architecture, the interior is surprisingly minimalist white Greek style, which is simple, elegant, and very clean. The private hot spring is in the courtyard, surrounded by large green plants. It's open-air but also features a retractable awning for privacy, offering a great experience.
Breakfast is provided through a partnership with a nearby business, and the food is delicious.
The staff are friendly and responsive. Parking is convenient, though not free. It costs 35 yuan for 24 hours, which is acceptable.

This duplex loft was ideal for our family trip, providing separate spaces so we didn't disturb each other, and the soundproofing was excellent. The breakfast was also delicious. We spent our mornings after breakfast exploring the scenic areas. We visited Nanzha, Dongzha, and Xizha, all of which offered unique experiences, and I highly recommend seeing them all. We arrived quite late, around midnight, but after a quick call to the front desk, someone promptly came out to welcome us. The service was outstanding, definitely a five-star experience!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, and I'd definitely choose it again if I come back. I usually stay at chain hotels, but all the nearby Hantings, Orange Hotels, and Atours were either too old or had too many negative reviews. I tried this one for a night and immediately extended my stay for another four or five days.
Pros:
The facilities are new and complete, hygiene standards are met, the service is warm and well-trained, and the location is convenient. Although the bed is quite close to the door and you can hear people talking in the corridor, luckily it was off-season so it wasn't too crowded or noisy. I could tell the hotel had already addressed soundproofing issues; the door is quite thick and heavy. I'd recommend choosing a room on a higher floor, on the inner side, not an end room, for a great experience. They also offer welcome fruit daily (though it wasn't always fresh one day), and I received a welcome gift on the first day. Cangqiao Zhijie street is just a 5-minute walk away, and within 2km there are shopping malls and the Lu Xun Native Place scenic area. Food delivery is plentiful and fast, and almost every time, the robot delivered my order right after it arrived. The service attitude is excellent; much better trained than many newly opened hotels. The staff are enthusiastic and proactive, and any issues communicated via WeChat were resolved immediately. I was really impressed with the cleanliness; in all these days, I didn't find any bugs except for one fly.
Cons:
The overhead shower in the bathroom had a slightly chaotic spray, splashing everywhere, and it was directly facing the door crack, so the floor outside would get wet every time I showered. On the last day, the air conditioner's warm air had a slight odor. It would be helpful if there were 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Make Up Room' signs to hang on the doorknob (I didn't see any electronic ones). This way, the hotel would know guest preferences without prior communication, and housekeepers wouldn't need to knock to ask if a room didn't need cleaning. The cleaning staff, however, were still very responsible.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The service was excellent — all the staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and everything was smooth during the stay.
The location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation, making it easy to get around.
One small downside was the sound insulation. Conversations in the corridor could be heard quite clearly, and noises from the neighboring room, such as showering, were also noticeable. This might be something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper.
That said, the good service really stood out, and overall it offers good value for money.

After a few days in Suzhou, coming back to Lin Yun. I Lu was a delight and relief. The room and service was in many levels better here than elsewhere. The location is great as well. We could take a short walk to West Lake in the morning when it was less crowded. The staff was already to help when we needed anything. They gave us a free room upgrade and a complimentary taxi ride to the airport.
Solo Hot Spring Retreat: The public hot springs were very quiet and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing soak.
Facilities: Excellent. They even provide disposable razors for men and disposable sewing kits.
Environment: The room was very spacious and quiet. The balcony was perfect for enjoying tea and the outdoor views.
Service: Robot delivery for takeout, plus thoughtful service from the butler.
The hotel's Xianju noodles were a generous portion for only 36 yuan (the server auntie was very kind and practical, advising me to order just enough).
The hotel breakfast was very satisfying (I loved the beef congee, fish skin congee, and the various Xianju snacks).
One regret: It rained those few days, so I couldn't visit Shenxianju. I'll definitely come back next time!

The environment of this homestay is superb, surrounded by green mountains and bamboo seas, the room is clean and tidy and warm, so I have lived a fairy life of opening my eyes and the bamboo forest. I will repeatedly fall in love with this kind of life of pushing the window to see the green. Lazy people can see the scenery when they turn over. The service is intimate and thoughtful, the overall experience is full, very suitable for vacation relaxation, it is recommended! The private hot spring experience is excellent, the soup spring water is clear and warm, and the soup is full of greenery, and the quiet is not disturbed. The service is meticulous and thoughtful. Looking up at the stars in the night, relaxing completely, is the perfect weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended for travelers seeking privacy and tranquility.

Huge thanks to the hotel for their incredibly attentive service during our stay, especially for going above and beyond for my child's birthday. They were always responsive and met our every request promptly. Although the hotel has been open for less than a year, and the breakfast service can feel a bit overwhelmed when it's busy, everything takes time to perfect, and you can really see how much effort everyone is putting in. On our last day, our return flight was delayed repeatedly, and the entire hotel staff was incredibly understanding and accommodating, allowing us to check out for free at 10 PM! You read that right, 10 PM! From noon until late evening, they essentially covered the cost of our airline's mistakes, and more importantly, ensured my family was as comfortable and rested as possible during that long, unreliable wait. Thank you again! ❤️ A special shout-out to the chicken porridge and scallion pancakes at breakfast – they were amazing!

If you're going to Qiandao Lake, stay at Minghao! The lake view rooms offer amazing, front-row views of the lake. The breakfast and dinner buffets have a great variety, and the location is fantastic – close to the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. The hotel's own entertainment facilities and scenery are also top-notch.
But the highlight has to be the butler service! This is honestly the best butler service I've ever experienced! Our butler, Lucy, was incredibly responsive throughout our stay and genuinely thought from the guest's perspective. We felt so at ease contacting her for anything; her service was thoughtful and thorough, which greatly helped make our trip wonderful! We'd come back just for this service next time!

SSudi 39## Amenities:
The bed and sofa were incredibly comfortable; it's been a long time since I've slept in such a comfortable bed. The lighting was thoughtfully placed, and the shower's water pressure and temperature were perfect, making for a very pleasant experience.
## Cleanliness:
The room was exceptionally clean. The bedding and water glasses were spotless, and the toiletries, especially the wooden-handled ones, were quite nice. The only minor issue was a slight odor from the drain, but otherwise, everything was excellent.
## Environment:
Opening the window revealed a breathtaking view – the most stunning scenery in Qiandao Lake is undoubtedly the view from the lake-view rooms and the hotel's observation deck at the Peninsula Lake Bar. For those on vacation, it offers a hassle-free experience without the crowds.
## Service:
A butler was provided to help book daily activities, and the hotel's phone service was incredibly responsive. Even late at night, any requested items were promptly delivered.
MM702023****A big thank you to the butler and hotel staff! From the delightful room upgrade upon check-in to the thoughtful and attentive butler service throughout our stay, every detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The butler was both professional and friendly, always there when we needed something, yet also providing us with ample personal space—the service balance was just perfect. The hotel's location is also ideal for families; our child's highlight every day was visiting the squirrel park downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and the commute was convenient. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and look forward to our next visit!
GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed!
We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving.
One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home.
Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.
BB_inCXianhua Sandalwood International Hotel
Rating: ★★★★☆
We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay:
**Location: 浦江仙华檀宫国际度假酒店
**Check-In Experience:**
We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.
**Room Comfort:**
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:**
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:**
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.
**Room for Improvement:**
While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment.
**Final Thoughts:**
This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.
In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages.
Would we return? Absolutely!

Service: I'd like to praise the service.
Environment: Quite good.
Cleanliness: Very good.

GGuest UserLocated in a village near Cicheng, it is about half an hour's drive from downtown Ningbo and about two hours from Shanghai. It is a quiet and convenient location.
The housekeeper will contact in advance to confirm the dinner and bathing time. The special bathing pool is by appointment, which is basically a private bath experience. It is very comfortable.
The restaurant tastes good, the stir-fried asparagus is very tender, and a bowl of glutinous rice balls was given when checking in during the Lantern Festival, which is very considerate.
It is very comfortable to stroll around the bamboo forest pond in the village in the morning. The rape flowers are about to bloom recently, and it is a good place for leisure and vacation.
LLanyouyouyoyoThe most successful off-peak May Day travel, it is quiet, peaceful and comfortable here, very suitable for slow life
Retro Italian castle style, children like it very much, the room is also equipped with a Philips coffee machine, welcome fruit, the reception center to the room has a sightseeing bus that can be picked up at any time, there is a large lawn, very suitable for team building activities
The restaurant ordered 5 dishes for dinner, which were exquisitely made and tasted very good. The chef was attentive
Activities: You can barbecue, horseback riding, archery, and the children's playground is on the third floor of the reception room
Surroundings: We drove to Shangwang Village, where there is a good restaurant in the past, and the attractions in Shangwang Village are still under development and construction.
We drove to Dongxi Village to play in the water and pick wild raspberries. There are also seasonal fruit picking nearby
GGuest UserWe chose this hotel primarily for its promise of a secluded, nature-connected experience and its on-site hot springs—a perfect antidote to busy city life.
The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed.
The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety.
Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for.
Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding.
I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully.
