|2.14km from city centerThe only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the location. With that being said the owners have done a WONDERFUL job of keeping the grounds safe. We felt safe in parking lot and in our room. Our room was very nice and clean. Updated to a mountain country feel. Staff at front desk very kind. Affordable rates. We would totally stay here again. Left this morning safe and rested for the rest of our travels. Thank you guys for being part of our relocation adventure and being there for us to rest our heads!

|6.68km from city centerMy company hosted a four day event from Tuesday, September 20, 2022 to Friday, September 23, 2022. Erika in catering went above and beyond to make our event run as smoothly as possible, doing the job of multiple people. After the AC not working in one of the conference rooms for two days, Erika took the initative to switch our event to a different room with working AC. During the lunch rush in the hotel restaurant, Erika was taking orders, serving drinks, bringing out orders, and busing tables for 30 to 40 people, at times by herself, with no complaints, only apologies for being understaffed. Erika is truly an asset to this hotel, a joy to work with, and always has a smile on her face. On another note, the hotel is shabby. AC didn't work in the Lounge on the club level and at times in my room.

|5.81km from city centerAs this is an airport, I only had very modest expectations, but those expectations were certainly exceeded. The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous at both check in and out. There is a small fridge stocked with complimentary bottle water at the lobby. Complimentary cookies are also available. The shuttle driver was also friendly, and the shuttle arrived for airport pickup shortly after I called the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and functional (the only thing slightly odd was the spot-light style lighting around the work desk- but it's just a very minor thing). There is a small fitness center right by the lobby - the machines are in good condition. Like all other Townplace properties, it offers complimentary breakfast; and I thought the quality of the breakfast was above-average. The lobby area feels bright and clean. Overall, this property offers excellent value and convenience.

|3.57km from city centerI recently moved to Denver from Albuquerque and still have a New Mexico Driver’s License. Upon check in I was asked for my ID and credit card. I was extremely disappointed that, instead of being thanked for being a Diamond member and receiving my two waters as usual, I was told that I couldn’t stay there because I’m a local. The staff suggested I stay at another hotel instead. I had to produce my lease agreement to prove that I live in Denver before I was allowed to check into my room for work. This “no locals” policy isn’t listed anywhere on their website, and this has been documented in my current case. I spoke with the supervisor that checked me in, and said she was the manager on duty, who assured me that Assistant General Manager JJ would give me a call. Unfortunately, I never received a call. When I tried to call him twice, I asked for the manager and he responded that he was the manager. I asked, “Hi, is this the manager JJ?” and he replied, “I’m the manager and I’m not going to give my name out for security purposes,” then he said he couldn’t hear me and started to get belligerent. I called back, he answered the phone, said hello, then screamed that he was on the phone to someone else and put me on hold. Since I cannot have my phone at my work site, I left it in the car and didn’t receive a call back during my stay. I will absolutely not be staying at this property again and will be informing all of my coworkers that the Homewood Suites up the road is much friendlier, overall more hospitable. I also hope the supervisor and the Assistant Manager both receive hospitality training. Some other issues about the property: I asked the front desk about police activity at the hotel and received a vague response, and then they brushed it off because hotel security had arrived, this made me feel unsafe. Last time I stayed at the property an individual had broken into and locked himself in the pool restroom until three security guards knocked down the door. The hotel is under construction and at one point me and other guests were made to walk under an active motorized scaffolding. There was garbage and construction materials littering the fire escape. These are very much safety concerns. Another complaint about the construction is that 75% of the parking lot is taken up by shipping containers, cranes or construction materials. There isn’t any instruction or indication on where to park.

|1.72km from city centerBest hotel, great location off freeway. 10 min from old town. Comfy beds. Lots of room to move around in the room. Privacy Curtain between sofa bed and 2 queens. The sofa bed was actually comfortable! Lots of cabinet space and counters for storage, breakfast was good and plentiful. Very clean. Kids wanted to go to the indoor pool (towels provided) and they had a good time, but I must say that the flooring surrounding the pool was TILE and it was VERY slippery. My children were walking slowly and carefully and still slipped and fell many times. I was tense the entire time worrying about the kids slipping. It was probably the worst flooring to have near a pool. Please be careful.

|8.52km from city centerThe staff were professional and friendly here.
We booked a standard with a king-sized bed.The room at this branch - Albuquerque East did not a funky smell and was clean & had international plugs which was nice. The front desk and everyone was helpful. The breakfast food and staff were all helpful and friendly. Bonus: Our room had a really nice view of the moutains as well.
Had a totally different experience at Holiday Inn Houston East-Channelview. The staff were not friendly and were not helpful either (save for the Bengali lady who was probably the front desk manager). The room had a weird smell. The hotel food at the restaurant was so salty. The breakfast was ok and location was ok. That was only the plus for Houston East Channelview branch.

|7.11km from city centerWe booked two different stays at this hotel. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, given how close to the airport we were. The welcoming front desk staff was exceptional, handling our every request in a friendly, efficient manner. We were grateful for the airport shuttle service, which went above and beyond to provide an extra trip for us to and from the airport. We really appreciated having the Sunport Grille restaurant onsite. Adam served us promptly each morning, and our breakfasts were delicious. We also enjoyed dinner there on our last night in Albuquerque. A bonus: The balloon fiesta was going during our stay, and one morning after their ascension the balloons paraded right past the hotel parking lot!

|6.27km from city centerJust got back from a trip to New Mexico that took us to Albuquerque for one night. So glad I booked this hotel and would highly recommend it! Traveling with my Dad, the suite at this hotel was a great (and more affordable) alternative to booking two rooms. There was a door between the main bedroom and a ”living” area with a pullout sofa, so we each had our own space with our own TVs and separate bathrooms. I took the bedroom which I found to be clean and comfortable. Interaction with the front desk staff was especially pleasant. They were genuinely friendly and helpful. Did not try the breakfast because one of my favorite breakfast restaurants, Village Inn, was right next door. Overall, a really enjoyable stay at an exceptional value!

|3.17km from city centerFirst the good: everyone was super helpful and accommodating, especially the ladies at breakfast. The made to order omelettes and pancakes were really good and the lady making them was so friendly and eager to please. The happy hour was also nice and the bar tender seemed to be a really good guy and was very efficient. The main desk staff were pleasant as well, no problems there. Here’s why I am giving 3 stars: The shower and shower curtain were not clean looking. The toilet bowl was the same way. I think it maybe just needs updated but it still left me with a gungy feel. Actually the whole Bathroom in general felt gross. Same with carpet. But here is the main reason why I would never come back: the water in the pool was so disgusting that I can’t even. There was no smell of chlorine or chemicals and the water was green and cloudy. Like real cloudy. So I thought it must be a saltwater pool so I swam but was still grossed out. The next day I asked the front desk if it was a saltwater pool which would explain the cloudiness and she said no it was chlorine. Girl, that pool hadn’t seen chlorine since like 1985. Ughhhhhhhh. So grossed out to be swimming in essentially dirty bath water. It was a busy pool. really hope the front desk clerk was wrong and if I find out it was a saltwater pool I will amend my review. But if this is correct, people clean up your pool!!!! So if you stay here, expect a great breakfast but stay out of the pool and don’t expect it to be a shiny and updated room because it is not. Or at least our room wasn’t. Yuck.

Albuquerque
|4.02km from city centerI really enjoyed my stay at this property, and was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable accommodations and amenities. It was convenient to check in via the Hilton Honors app and use the digital key system to access the hotel and room. The King suite was surprisingly spacious, with the bedroom separated from the living room/kitchenette. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The kitchenette was stocked with coffee maker, microwave, fridge/freezer, a few place settings, some utensils, and two cooking pots. The living room sofa was comfortable. Bed and pillows were also comfy. HVAC system worked well. There were enough outlets and some USB charging plugs. My only room complaint was low water pressure in the shower (possibly a water-saving feature). The hotel was fairly quiet. My room was on the side of the property facing Cutler Ave, and there was no traffic noise. Just occasional noise from other guests. The lobby and breakfast area were inviting. Coffee was always available in the lobby, which was a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast had a wide array of items, and even some local favorites like green chile stew and tamales. The hotel is in a fairly quiet area that felt safer than other parts of town. There were warnings about not leaving valuables in cars, but no overt problems. The hotel is conveniently located near a large shopping center and many restaurants. There is a Trader Joe’s within close walking distance. There is even a cat café close by. Most Albuquerque attractions and the airport were a 10-15 minute drive. Sandia Park is about 30 minutes.

|1.2km from city centerI live in Albuquerque and lead a pretty hectic life working for 3 different delivery services. Whenever I need a break, I check into the Red Roof for a few days. It is always clean, quiet and luxurious for an excellent rate. The entire staff is friendly and on point. ”Ask and you shall receive” could be their official motto! Great amenities and centrally located. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is definitely the best stay in town

|4.09km from city centerThe place is located close to the Convention Center, 5 min. Drive
The room was clean when we got there
The guys at the help desk were very nice and always willing to help.
The ”breakfast” offer very few granola bars, fewer apples, some yogurts and coffee, only regular sugar. No sweetener of any kind, the juice machine was not working the 4 days we stayed there.
Cleaning the room. They require that the customer request the cleaning of the room. .In writing in a post it, and signed it,! then the guy at the help desk sign it too.

|8.62km from city centerWe were given room 210, apparently the designated ‘pet’ room. It is not located on the main corridor but behind the elevators, so it took a bit to find it tucked away. The room is small with a queen bed that sits on rails instead of an enclosed box as we are used to seeing. Great hiding place for your pet. Especially since the lining for the box springs is torn away and hanging on the floor. There is only a walk-in shower and the only place to put pet items is in the bathroom which is crowded to start. The employees were all courteous and smiling. The breakfast attendant was especially nice and efficient. That being said, the property could use more seating for meals. This was on a Friday morning and people were in the lobby area eating on their laps.

|0.88km from city centerThis hotel has great and friendly staff. Every time you would pass one of them they would greet us with a smile. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The only issue was inside the rooms you hear everything outside. From people talking as they are in the hallway, traffic noises outside, the elevator makes a bing noise every time the door opens. There is a doorbell outside some rooms and our son pushed the one for our room only to find out this is not a doorbell but makes the fire alarm sound in the room. That is very concerning that the fire system is not working correctly.

|5.72km from city centerThis place saved us when our original hotel dropped the ball at 1 in the morning. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Rooms were impeccably clean and the beds are super comfortable. Breakfast is a step above your normal hotel breakfast. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, ham and potatoes are just a few of the options. Not to mention that had the coolest automatic pancake conveyer belt machine. I had never seen anything like it and it made 2 hot fresh pancakes in a matter of minutes. Made me want one for home. Great experience overall.

|4.4km from city centerNice Holiday Inn in a good location. Had a two queen/sofa bed suite. The size was great. Microwave and refrigerator were good to have. Beds were comfortable. Maid service was a bit sketchy. The hotel is close to a major intersection so it can get a bit noisy but didn't really bother us. The front desk folks were very helpful. Anna was on duty when we checked in and she was extremely helpful.

|8.17km from city centerStayed here for the ABQ balloon festival. Walked to the festival to avoid traffic jams / rideshare surge pricing. After you carefully navigate the dirt path adjacent to the frontage road, the rest of the walk is about 30 minutes each way on sidewalks with crosswalks at intersections. Front desk staff gave me several valuable tips about attending the festival. They were very friendly and there was always someone at the desk or nearby. Facility is nice - lobby is open space adjacent to rooms and elevator. Coffee / hot water is available all day. Rooms have toiletries (shampoo / conditioner). Daily housekeeping was provided. It's accessible by public transportation, though it's a long 1-mile walk. There is multiple fast-food restaurants within a 15–20-minute walk if you use the gate in the fence at the rear of the parking lot. Also, nearby Tin Can Alley has a variety of local fast-food options and a brewpub. Tin Can Alley has bar area seating and a variety of indoor / outdoor seats on two levels. This hotel is a clean, comfortable, affordable basic accommodation base for ABQ-area sightseeing.
