There are relatively few buses in the Albufeira area, so it is still suitable for self-driving. The hotel has free parking, and the receptionist at the front desk is very enthusiastic and meticulous, introducing the surrounding attractions in detail. The size of the room is suitable, but the ventilation system is not very good and the room feels damp. The breakfast is very good, including fruit cake, smooth eggs, yogurt, etc., very rich.

I can't fault this hotel. It has everything a family needs. The pools and children's outdoor activities are excellent. It rained on one of the days but the spacious indoor pool meant that our little Boy could still go swimming. The rooms are spacious and clean with everything you need. I must say a special Thank you to the staff, especially Ibrahim and the night staff gentleman with him on reception. We had a problem when our pre booked and paid taxi didn't turn up. Ibrahim and the other gentleman went out of their way to really help us. They're an absolute credit to the hotel

Beautiful and well maintained grounds. The facilities provided in the accommodations were very good, fridge, freezer, dish washer, cooker and microwave. The kitchen was in good condition and looked fairly new. However, sofa and other fittings looked worn and tired. The Accommodation is within a stone's through to the beach. Approximately 10 and 15 minutes stroll to the beach As we were slightly outside summer season. Only Bed & Breakfast option was provided. We found the range of food provided for Breakfast was to a good standard. Restaurant Staff were helpful and polite. The reception staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful in giving us advice on things do and places to visit in Portugal.

I went alone but never bored. I had a late check in and everything was spot on. I communicated with the hotel about my flight change and quick response they booked me a taxi which was there waiting at weeee hours of the morning. The cleanliness was %100 rooms clean I cannot fault. I enjoyed the bus ride, the Uber was ok. The area was quiet if anyone looking for closeness but the taxi price was good. There was so much to do. My last day went to the spa over by the aqua park OMG it was rejuvenating only thing was you have to pay with a discount if you are staying at the hotel., for 2 hours 25 euros I think it can be a little cheaper for hotel guest. But I am not one to complain it is a kids friendly hotel so expect to hear kids running around planning to bring my grandkids next time, I know they will enjoy it. Breakfast was ok, ate outside for dinner there is so much place to choose from. Just a Uber ride away. A big shout out to Bruno very good cocktail and he gave me tips of places to eat out side. This hotel was by far the worst I've ever stayed in, and it completely ruined my holiday experience. Despite having a spacious suite, the layout was extremely unreasonable. A large portion of the room was wasted space, while the toilet area was unbearably small. The shower enclosure could barely fit two people, and the door failed to prevent water from escaping, resulting in a flooded floor outside. To make matters worse, the slippers provided were not only non-slip but made the floor even more slippery. I had a nasty fall as soon as I stepped into the bathroom, resulting in soaked clothes, a sore bottom, and a scraped hand from hitting the doorknob. If it weren't for my boyfriend grabbing hold of me, I shudder to think what could have happened if my head collided with the sink. The washbasin area was ridiculously tiny, barely leaving any space once a few cosmetic items were placed on it. Furthermore, the basin's drainage was slow. The toilet being positioned right next to the sink made it feel like bacteria could easily spread throughout the bathroom with a single flush. The quality of the paper towels was poor, and the provided shampoo and conditioner were unpleasant to use. As for the bedroom, I couldn't believe that in a supposed 5-star hotel, the twin beds were just two single beds pushed together. This caused us to get stuck in the gap between the beds during the night. Furthermore, the duvet was as thin as a sheet, and the mattress lacked the necessary softness and flexibility for a comfortable sleep. Overall, the sleeping experience was subpar. To top it all off, I am filled with anger because I missed the abysmal breakfast buffet's operating hours. I just wanted to have a good sleep and I woke up at almost 10:30am and couldn't get the breakfast in the hotel. It is beyond my comprehension why the hotel would only offer breakfast until 10:30 am. In my experience, most hotels of this caliber have breakfast service until at least 11 am, considering that guests may want to sleep in and still enjoy a meal. It feels incredibly impersonal and inconsiderate to force customers to wake up before 10 am or risk missing breakfast. I paid nearly 400 pounds for a 3-night stay at this hotel, which is situated in the middle of nowhere with unattractive decor and subpar facilities. The service provided was devastating, and I deeply regret booking this hotel. To those reading this review, I advice that if you don't want to waste a significant amount of money and ruin your mood, please avoid this disgraceful establishment that dares to call itself a 5-star hotel. It is nothing short of a scam.

Super holiday! We have just spent 10days on half board here at the Porto bay Falesia. We had a fantastic time. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, bending over backwards to make the experience all the more pleasurable. We stayed in a sea view room on the 3rd floor and it was amazing! Great size room with lovely bathroom and rituals products. Cleaning staff were so lovely and kept our room spruced up throughout our stay. The food was really good. The selection was so good, always something for everyone, I prefer fish and my husband prefers meat and neither were disappointed. We also had a meal at il basilica which was great. We spent most of the week relaxing by the pool or on the beach and walking. The pool area is perfect for reading a book, plenty of loungers. The beach is accessed by around 120 steps which we loved but I can see they may be an issue if not so mobile or able. The beach is incredible! We walked to vila moura which took around 2 hours, had lunch and walked back. There was also a lovely walk along the cliff top in the other direction going via the town of olhos de agua. This walk was spectacular! It takes you all the way to Maria Luisa beach via a restaurant on the beach called passaro azul ( definitely worth a visit). We spent a morning at the indoor pool, sauna and steam room which was nice as it was raining outside. My husband also used the gym which was adequate. The town is sweet with a selection of restaurants and shops plus a small supermarket for supplies! All in all we had a fantastic 10days and will definitely be back. The hotel does not require an extra bed because he already has a sofa bed. It is suitable for children to play, there is an outdoor swimming pool, football field and water slide. There is a laundry room and a private passage to go to the beach. There are many restaurants next to the hotel. There is also a kitchen.

I wanted to do a review as before we left I was extremely nervous reading some of the negative ones on here. So we went for 10 night family holiday. 2 adult and 3 kids (16, 10 & 6) We arrived at 1am, checked in with security & a mini van brought us to our apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by our apartment. It was 2 bed, 1 bathroom 1 ensuite (but the same size as bathroom) apartment with loads if space. I couldn't believe the space! Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster,coffee machine, fridge and separate freezer. There was also a washing machine & dryer. Plenty of towels and hair dryer in one of the bathrooms. Aircon in bedrooms and living room. Good size comfortable couch/ sofa bed. T.v in living room and bedroom. An extendable kitchen table & 6 chairs. Garden terrace with garden furniture. The resort itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It is very big with a good few hills. We didn't mind this but something to bare in mind if you struggle with hills, are in a wheelchair or need extra walking assistance. There was a few creepy crawlies/ spiders/ ants but this didn't bother me. It's a garden village not a 5* hotel complex. There was no building work being carried out when we were there. The area was so peaceful and quiet. Even a night time. There are 4 pools over the resort in different areas. Each area is spotlessly clean and have a snack bar/ restaurant. We spent most of our days at La Pergola poolarea as the kids just preferred it here. There was always a few sunbeds available. Food was lovely, staff we just so nice & friendly, cocktails were good too! Our first morning we had breakfast at Casa Azul. Food & service was excellent and the view was beautiful. We had dinner on two night in O Pavilhão. The food here was exceptional!!! Could not fault one thing. And the staff were amazing, so friendly. I genuinely could not recommend this place enough! Mini market was handy. A bit pricey but had all the essentials. We went to Pingo Doce supermarket about 10min walk from the resort to do a big shop when we arrived. There was a fruit stall along the way and the peaches here with amazing!!! Staff at reception were always very friendly and helpful. We got a local taxi to the Old Town most days, which cost 5e as we needed a 5/6 seater for us all. We got it to taxi rank 1, it was just a 2 min walk from the main square. I tried Uber one two occasions and it was just a disaster so I stuck with the local service and they were friendly, quick and efficient. Never let us down! When we were leaving we got a taxi from taxi rank 2 a few nights and this cost 6e. The weather was amazing while we were here also. Temperatures ranging from 26°- 31°. My only criticism would be the level of cleaning done in the apartment before we arrived. There were a few stains on the counter tops, fridge & freezer doors, inside the fridge. I always do a clean when I arrive somewhere to stay but it's unfortunate that it wasn
