Linville River Log Cabins ★★★
"Despite the listing saying pet friendly on ******* I was charged $95 for the dog and $40 for my 4 & 6 year old. They took our blankets & sheets because of the dog. In January, in the NC mountains, in a snow storm."

The Pineola ★★
"Nice hotel"
Courtyard by Marriott Sugar Mountain Banner Elk ★★★
"We recently stayed at this brand-new property, and while it is experiencing a few expected opening growing pains, the exceptional service more than made up for it.Upon check-in, we discovered the air conditioning in our original room was not working. The front desk team handled the situation flawlessly and immediately turned a negative into a positive.Special recognition goes to Lola, Sam, Alaina, and Alandra. They were absolutely amazing, incredibly accommodating, and went above and beyond to resolve our issue by proactively upgrading us to a beautiful complimentary room. The hospitality shown by these four individuals is a testament to the high standards Marriott aims for. New hotels always have minor kinks to iron out, but with a stellar staff like this, guests are in excellent hands. We will definitely be back!"
Bluegreen Vacations Blue Ridge Village, an Ascend Collection Resort ★★★
Hemlock Inn ★★
The Inn at Shady Lawn ★★
Hillwinds Inn - Blowing Rock ★★★
The Blowing Rock Manor ★★
"Extremely friendly staff, cozy and clean room. Will be back for sure."
