"We stayed a few nights in the most basic cabin. It was a true wilderness survival experience. The cabins are located far from the road, practically in the jungle. The cabins are made of bamboo, and you get everything that comes with that. There's a pleasant common area. There's free water. The hostess and two dogs were lovely. Probably the worst thing here is the endless mice running through the walls and across the ceiling. This might shock some, so it's best to bring good earplugs."

"We stayed here for nearly a week with another family in two rooms. The resort is beautiful with ocean views, palm trees, and pleasant gardening between the buildings. The saltwater pool is perfect and was never crowded. The staff was very accommodating, booking tours and tricycles, and giving travel advice. One note, the resort is located quite a ways down a super bumpy dirt road, as are most of the resorts in Anda. It was easy to get tricycles into town and back but it was surprising when we first arrived."

The location is unbeatable — right on a beautiful stretch of beach with crystal-clear water and great for spotting turtles (we saw 4 whilst kayaking). The rooms were spotless and really comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. Every meal we had was delicious. It’s the kind of place that makes you instantly feel on holiday — peaceful, welcoming, and unforgettable. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended! "What can I say. Such a great experience. The vibe was excellent. The staff extremely tentative and helpful both in the hotel and the dive shop. The diving was off the charts!! I kept wanting to go back to coral gardens and was never disappointed. The colours and vibrancy of the reef is worth several dives. So many turtles from tray size to table top size and bigger. The equipment and boats are top notch and all in good condition. The food is good and I have a favourite that I would highly recommend. Blackened Chicken. If you are looking for a place to unwind relax with excellent diving then this is the place."

"Let’s start with the positives: The grounds and the location are beautiful. The room is spacious, and the beds are comfortable; the air conditioning is quiet and works excellently. The water pressure in the shower is amazing. The staff are warm and friendly, doing their utmost to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Now, unfortunately, the negatives: Access is a bit difficult, as the last 100 meters are just a gravel track. The Wi-Fi is very, very poor (sometimes available, then completely gone). The toilet flush in our room didn't work. The interior—including the bathroom—is in need of renovation; the entire complex definitely needs refurbishing. I feel sorry for the staff if the owner doesn't do anything about it."

"Anda is a hidden gem of the Philippines, and the Island View Beachfront resort is the hidden gem of Anda. This place is a little away from the town center, but it is easy cheap transport if you want to leave the resort, but in saying that, in my opinion this place has everything you need. From the time you arrive the greeting from Peter the owner and all the assistance, friendliness, smiles and kindness from all the staff was fantastic. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable, with a brilliant view of the beach at the front and their incredible gardens at the rear. Seriously the peace and tranquility of this place can not be rated high enough, it is just amazing. I am going to do a separate review of the restaurant (The Old Plantation) as it was the best food I experienced in all my time in the Philippines. Well priced for touch of paradise."

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, the food is top notch, and the French couple who run the dive shop are also really great.
