The service was also great; I asked for two bottles of water and they brought me six! The pool was clean, uncrowded, not too deep, and the water temperature was perfect. However, to be honest, the room facilities are quite old. It feels like a luxury hotel from ten years ago, and now it seems a bit outdated. The TV is small and doesn't support screen casting, the toilet isn't smart, and there are burn marks from an iron on the desk. Given the inflated prices during the summer, the value for money isn't great."

This kindness was especially touching for us as travelers far from home. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean and tidy in every corner, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The food was authentic and delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients, and we were very satisfied with all our meals. Both the facilities and the hospitality were top-notch. This is definitely our first choice for accommodation when traveling, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Huangguoshu! Highly recommended! ✨"

"This is an honest review. We booked two double rooms for two elderly people and one child. Regarding service: The hotel is located in a mountain village. No one contacted us beforehand to give directions; the navigation only led to the roadside, and we didn't see any signs for the guesthouse. We called the front desk, and they said they would send a car down to pick us up. We waited by the roadside in the sun for over ten minutes, urging them three times, before they finally sent a waterlogged electric cart. Once we got to the top of the mountain, there were only ladders, and no one helped with our luggage. When we went to check in with the elderly and the child, we asked for an extra blanket because the child kicked it off, but the front desk said they didn't have any. The room was upstairs, without an elevator, so we had to walk upstairs with our luggage. The hotel said they would provide dinner, but when we booked, they said two items were unavailable, this wasn't available, that wasn't available, and even at 7 pm, they deliberately asked which room we were in and what time we were planning to eat. The front desk staff were deliberately difficult, refusing to cooperate with any requests. We left a message saying we needed children's amenities, and the hotel replied that they could provide them, but none of them were available upon check-in. Regarding facilities, cleanliness, and environment: Dirty. The towels were blackened, and the bathtub and toothbrush cup were full of bugs. The air conditioner kept making strange noises; it was unbearably hot and stuffy when off, and unbearably noisy when on. Regarding breakfast: It's worth mentioning. The accommodation is near the scenic area, which opens at 6:30 AM, and their breakfast service starts at 7:30 AM. Those who know, know. We went to the restaurant at 7:23 AM, and an older woman was sweeping. I asked her if breakfast was available at 7:30 AM, or if she started making it at 7:30 AM. She said it was already prepared. I asked if we could eat a few minutes earlier to get to the scenic area, as it's peak season and crowded. She said no, it had to be at 7:30 AM. I immediately turned around and left with the elderly and children. It felt like I was begging for money when I paid for the accommodation. Regarding the shuttle service: The night before, we communicated with the shuttle driver, saying that we needed someone to go to the site to buy tickets for the same day (we couldn't get online tickets) by 6:30 AM the next morning. The driver agreed. Back at the hotel, we told the front desk we needed a ride down the mountain at 6:30 AM. The front desk refused outright. ? I didn't ask you to take me, the driver already agreed, and you refused without even communicating with him. Isn't that just nitpicking? I travel frequently for work, spending a third of the year staying in hotels, and this is truly the worst hotel I've ever encountered, bar none. The attached picture shows the mountain road leading to the hotel. I sincerely hope everyone avoids this place, especially those traveling with elderly people, children, or a lot of luggage."

"The overall experience is too bad, for the following reasons: 1. As a five-star hotel, there is no service staff in the lobby and at the door. No one can be seen when entering the door. There is no guidance on where to park the car on rainy days, and there is no staff at the gate. 2. The hotel was booked in advance by Ctrip. When checking in, I was asked to pay a deposit of 200 yuan. I would like to ask if a high-star hotel charging a deposit of 200 yuan is as disgusting as eating a fly when eating. 3. The hotel facilities are old, the sofa is cracked and peeling, the table is unstable, and a one-centimeter travel brochure is just right. The toilet has no toilet seat, and the room is gloomy (I called the front desk to add a desk lamp to improve it). 4. I checked in with my family, two children, one is 1.28 meters tall and the other is 1.1 meters tall. The front desk asked that only two people in each room could go to eat. Although I ate normally after negotiating with the restaurant staff the next morning, the number of people told about breakfast when checking in was too disgusting. Is this what a star hotel does? A 1.28-meter child cannot be counted as an adult anywhere in the country, not to mention a 1.1-meter child. Has Wyndham Group never seen money? 5. When checking out, the front desk informed me that guests can leave the hotel first. After the staff checked the room and found no problems, the deposit would be returned. I took the initiative to ask for an immediate check-up. If there were any problems, I explained them clearly. Only then did the front desk staff arrange for cleaning staff to check. It took nearly 10 minutes in total. Can a five-star hotel that collects a deposit do such a thing?"

"My first trip to Guiyang was full of surprises, yet also tinged with regret. The breathtaking natural scenery was a feast for the eyes, and the rich history and culture spurred me to explore. However, the overall experience of food, accommodation, and transportation during a trip is paramount. Choosing the Banyan Tree Anshun was a terrible mistake! I subjectively thought Banyan Tree was part of the Hyatt group, like Park Hyatt😂, but the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I realized how mistaken I was😂. The lobby was vast and empty, the greeter's smile was stiff, and the front desk staff were unprofessionally wooden in their speech. The overly aggressive wood-paneled decor and Chinese-style furniture made everything feel cheap and haphazard. Seeing my family's disappointed faces, I could only manage an awkward laugh, after all, a 3-night stay at 15,000 RMB is non-refundable😂. The hotel grounds were extensive, but the details were a mess. Untended branches and fallen leaves made it look desolate. The room was large, but the sleep quality was non-existent. The cheap mattress made you feel every single spring😂, and every time I turned over, my wife would wake up😂. I woke up with an aching back every morning. Even more comically, the cleaning lady would come at 8:50 AM, shouting to wake you up and clean the room! Her loud voice through the door made it sound like she was serenading us with folk songs early in the morning😂. During breakfast, I could only see about 15 people dining, yet guests constantly had to call out, 'Waiter, the coffee machine is out of water and milk! And the juice is gone too!' The openly displayed cutlery on the tables and food scraps under them made me question the hygiene of the dining experience. What truly surprised me was the hotel's waterfall afternoon tea, which wasn't located within the hotel but required a car ride to a so-called 'teahouse' in the scenic area. The teahouse's balcony directly overlooked the waterfall, and we were served a pot of strong tea, a pot of white tea, plus 12 casually made small pastries😂😂😂. My daughter said they were the worst macarons she had ever tasted! No coffee was available, as it was strictly a Chinese-style experience! You could only drink tea here! I forgot to mention, the hotel lobby also only offers tea, nothing else! Perhaps Guizhou only produces tea and nothing else, like coffee! We simply couldn't appreciate the tea culture. I took one sip of tea, and my daughter took 2-3 bites of the pastries. Then came the bill, which perhaps my poverty limits my imagination! 1550 RMB! After signing, I immediately checked the average salary in Guizhou on Xiaohongshu (a social media platform)😂. At the end of our trip, on the way to the airport, the driver told us that Guizhou's tourism industry started relatively late and needs time to adapt. I agree with him; any endeavor needs time to be refined. Here's wishing Guizhou's tourism industry all the best!"
