There is only a short distance from our hotel to local notable scenery spots and gymnasiums such as Central TV Tower, Capital Museum, Military Museum, Mastercard sports center and Capital Gymnasium. Media Center is a four-star hotel. In 2008, we served the News Press of the Olympic Games. Our hotel is also the News Center of the two Governmental Congress sessions each year. Convenient transportation, on the same road as Beijing Railway Station, passing Tiananmen Square when taking a bus, beautiful; closer to Beijing West Railway Station; subway and bus are also nearby. Military Museum, China Millennium Monument, Yuyuantan are just a few steps away. The hotel lobby is spacious, the CCTV logo is very eye-catching, the service staff are well-mannered, friendly and enthusiastic. It is recommended to follow the official account to receive breakfast activities, which have both Chinese and Western breakfasts and beautiful environment. The room is log-style, warm and clean. Security check is in place, full of security. It is a happy accommodation experience.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. Hotel is quite near from subway line 1 and 10. The airport shuttle bus ticket counter was in front of hotel. But room was not very clean. There was plenty of dust in every corner and sofas were dirty. The room size was smaller than it indicated in the website.

It was a very nice stay, room clean with amenities, comfy, and they let us in earlier, thing we appreciate a lot!! Just at the reception nobody speaks English and near by there is nothing to eat, restaurants, shops, stores, pharmacy, nothing at al.. but I recommend the place for sure. Thanks!!

I was lucky to find a parking spot. It has a big bed and a private bathroom. I am sensitive to temperature, so I asked to change rooms when I didn't feel the temperature drop after turning on the air conditioner for a while. Generally, no one will believe ”you”. Later, I changed rooms. Maybe the air conditioner was not so good. There was a strong wind, but the cooling effect was not good, or it took more time to wait. I booked it at a discounted price of 178, 144. It exceeded my budget. I wanted to continue to exceed the budget for two more days, but changing rooms would cost more money, so I gave up and did not renew the reservation.

I stayed for my whole trip and the location is quite good. The receptionist especially the tall slim guy was so kind! He’s so gentle and willing to help even though communication is a challenge. Thank you!! The only thing I can comment is that the bathing/washing area is shared with the customers in the Cafe, it’s quite uncomfortable hopefully next time there’ll be a separate area for us. All else is fine.

Cons: Personally I didn't like this hotel and won't go back. There were random pieces of mismatching furniture lined up along the wall, and just in general very old hotel, but charging 1.8k per night is completely disproportionate, if rooms were around 700 you can't complain.
Pros: Breakfast buffet had good choice and the outside garden was really nice!
Hotel allowed me to cancelled our second night even thought it was originally not cancellable. Much appreciated!!

Great value for money. Staff are always very attentive and ready to help if you don't speak chinese. It's clean, and they have regular cleanings every day. The washing and drying machines are free, so you don't need to worry. There is not a lot of socializing in the lobby, but that is just normal in most chinese hostels.
Very good place, not too close to everything to avoid recurrent crowds, and not too far to avoid commuting for long.

The receptionists were very helpful, nice and polite. They proactively offered help to customers. We arrived late on our first day there and ordered take-out. After finishing, we called the staff to take away all the leftovers as the smell was quite strong. The staff took immediate action. We could feel that the staff there strives to provide a good stay experience to their customers. The breakfast there was delicious. The room provided a comfortable a**osphere. My family had a great experience staying this hotel. We won’t hesitate to choose this hotel when we visit Beijing next time.

Location is very good. Very near to Cauqiao subway station just use exit b cross the road and you would go to the hotel right away. Its a but far from center spots of Beijing 30-50 mins by train. The reception desk is very helpful. They cannot speak English but the Google translation will help you instead. The hotel has no elevators. The hotel has 2 floors but you don't have to carry your luggage by yourself. The room is quite small and about 80% sound proof sometimes you can hear a noise from outside. The bathroom is very small the toilet and shower area of the same area. By overall i will rate about 3.5/5

Although there’s a bit of walk from the nearest Yongdingmenwai station, but you get to stay in the area of residential neighbourhood away from the busy city.
Greet by welcoming staff and I able to leave my luggage first hours before check-in because I reached the city early in the morning. Complimentary coffee and drink available whole day at the lobby.
The room is very spacious and comfortable. Everything can be control by the virtual assistant device, by just saying the name and it will respond to you and assist you on anything the device can do.
The toilet and shower room has no privacy but you can request to add curtain to it. The hot water for the shower room takes a long time to come out, and the water pressure wasn’t strong enough for me.
No safe or fridge in the room unfortunately. So do keep your important personal belongings at a much secure place.
On some of the days, they will host movie screening at their rooftop in the evening. There’s also a gym area. If you going for their buffet breakfast, it is located at the basement.

AAnonymous UserWe really enjoyed our stay at Manxin Hotel. The room was very clean, although we did not need much help from the staff, everyone was very friendly and kind.
The location is amazing - walking distance to the center attractions (Forbidden City, National Museum, Tiananmen Square). Everything else you can reach by using Metro. The station is located within walking distance from the hotel. There are loads of food and shopping options at Wangfujing street, there is a food market at the metro station, as well as Beijing apm mall which we used a lot for food.
Great value, amazing location, we will be coming back!

JJulian PeensThis is a beautiful hotel situated in the mountainous region of Beijing. The surroundings and view from the hotel are breathtaking at sunset and weather was extremely good during our stay.
STAFF
The staff were amount the most helpful and friendly that I have encountered in China thus far and I have been here more than five years and traveled to many destinations. They do not speak English but are very ready to use a translation APP or WeChat to communicate. The staff are very accommodating and even took special requests regarding the menu.
FOOD
The food was very well prepared and tasted delicious. Their menu unfortunately does not have pictures and the translations may be tricky if you are not particularly familiar with Chinese cuisine. Nevertheless, the food that we at was fresh, tasty and of high quality. We were able to BBQ by ourselves by reserving it a day in advance. The staff will also help you BBQ if needed.
LOCATION
The hotel is situated far from the city and a sense of comfort can be experienced knowing that you have left the hustle and bustle of the city behind. However, make sure all amenities and personal effects that you may need are with you as you cannot get same day delivery services. There were some construction vehicles which made noise occasionally in the area but I would suspect this is temporary and will soon pass.
ROOM
The rooms are beautiful and we experiences no dysfunctional amenities in the bedroom. The linen on the beds were crisp and clean, the room was clean upon arrival and daily cleaning is offered. Overall cleanliness was very good. The washroom area is stocked with a loofa, toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, razor, hand towels, cups and reasonable space for personal toiletries too.
POOL AREA
The outdoor patio looks out onto the pool. The water was well maintained and some pool toys were provided by the hotel. The pool area could use some maintenance, for example, around the stairs there are a couple loose tiles on the stair face and some weeding around the footpath could be done. Other than this, the environment is completely mesmerising and leaves one completely relaxed. Calming music is played throughout the day at a low volume. At night, this area is well lit and the scenery beautiful.
BAR
The bar is well stocked with spirits but a slightly wider variety and maybe the addition of a drinks menu would definitely improve this.
ROOFTOP
The hotel has a rooftop deck perfect for sundowners and viewing the surrounding mountains. Tables and chairs are provided on the rooftop.

DdyhxMy first Orange Hotel stay and it's exceeded my expectations. Being a local chain known for its budget style, I was imagining Ibis type but it turned out much better. The hotel looks old from the outside but this being a newly opened one, everything inside looked clean and modern. Smart lifts where my room level is automatically detected once the card is scanned. I got a smart room that's controlled by Xiao Du小度 (their equivalent of Siri / Alexa). I had fun commanding Xiao Du to adjust the aircon temperature and switching on/off the TV, lights and even the curtains. They also have a food delivery robot and provide free self service laundry facilities. There's a small gym here which I didn't use. The room is a little small for 2 pax but more than comfortable for 1. The standing shower and toilet is separated and both of good size. The bed is firm and pillows comfy. Bottled water, mini fridge, tea bags are provided. Basic shower amenities are also provided, along with a pack of disposable toothbrush and comb at check in. I like the open wardrobe concept and they provide many hangers here including the clip ones. It's a rather basic hotel in general but certainly value for money. There are also quite some eateries along the street just a few mins walk from the hotel. I wouldn't mind staying here again the next time I visit.

The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of cuisines ranging from Western delicacies to Chinese comfort food. The breakfast buffet opens from 7 - 10 AM.
The dinner buffet is a wonderful unforgettable luxury experience, serving hotpot, fresh Seafood and meat, and an ice cream station. The dinner buffet opens from 5:30 - 9:30 PM.
The room is very clean and looked new, the staffs are friendly and polite. Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely come back again.

Very friendly customer service even we want to take a taxi we have no app to order taxi the customer service help us to go out to the main road and help us stop a taxi and get us to airport. When ask them to help they also manage to help.

GGuest UserThis place is super convenient for family traveling with elderly and also toddler. It is well-equipped with washing and drying machine for laundry. The cooking hob & knob are provided too but there was no pots and pans provided in the unit for cooking. I didnt find out further if we are allowed to cook inside the unit but when i went to level B1 for coffees (free!) i saw there was anoher kitchen which is bigger that has pans and pots (but very limited, I only saw 1 pan). The plates provided in the unit are only 3 plates without any bowls, which is quite restricted when we dine in the unit by ordering food delivery. However, we managed it by using the food containers from our delivery. We did not approach the front desk to ask for more plates and bowls though. So i am not sure if they can provide.
The front receptionist who work during night time during our stay is more warm and friendly than the rest. There was a morning shift staff whom I have not met, but heard from my family, that she gave a cute keychain to my kid, which i feel is a very lovely gesture.
Having read that some taxis refused to drive into the hutong due to its small and narrow road has caused me concerns when i did the booking, but fortunately all the taxis we got managed to wait for us right outside our apartment. Meaning that all are willing to drive in.
There are bicycle returning spots right outside the apartment which makes it so convenient for us to return the bicycles we rented using the online platform.
Outside the hutong, there are shops like eateries which make it very convenient for us. We even took our brunch at ”men ji mi fan” which serves very good ”mi xian”(noodles) that i was looking forward to when i am visiting Beijing.
My kid and elderly mum really enjoyed the stay in the apartment. They even enjoy chatting with the lady who cleans our apartment as she is really friendly and warm. There are 2 bathrooms in our 2-bed unit which again makes it super convenient for us during our stay. My kid loves the apartment as if its her second home.
We like the coffee provided free at B1 as the fragrant is really as good as those at coffee shops. We visited B1 entertainment room for a few times and chill there for a short while. There is a pool table and a gym room right next to it.
The stay is very peaceful and quiet throughout our 1 week stay. Reception and security guard are there 24 hours. There is even a postage room that keeps all our online shopping parcels which makes it very convenient to shop.
I gave only 4/5 for facilities due to shortage of cooking utensils/bowls in our unit. But other than that, there is nothing else that is short of our expectations.

The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived and so patient when I had an issue checking in.
My daughter also took part in a cake decorating class during our stay and she thoroughly enjoyed.
The pool was quite large for hotels in Beijing, and the gym met needs.
Yael on the front desk, Andy for in room dining, Paolo and the team at Dacappo restaurant made our stay comfortable down to the last detail. The breakfast had enough choice, and the in-room dining portions were generous.
We will be recommending to friends, but will also come back again 😃

TTess BeijingVery dated for a 5* Hotel, especially the TV. Didn't feel like a 5* hotel compared to others we have stayed at in Beijing.
Highlight was the bath. The aircon did not work properly and was a very uncomfortable stay with it being too hot in the room.
Don't think we would stay again.

AAnonymous UserAircon didn't work, have to suffer in a stuffy environment for 3 days. Was told that the aircon system broke down for awhile and they didn't fix it. No daily clean up service provided, items in the room were not changed although cleaning was provided. No solution to the problem was provided by the hotel, had to do everything by yourself. Location was good 3 mins from the subway although entering the street can be troublesome as there is a security counter at the entrance of street and had to use passport to enter.

LLiulizongI stayed at Beijing Daoxiang Lakeview Hotel with my parents, an old man and a child. The lobby was spacious and bright. The waiter was welcoming and greeted me warmly. Seeing me and my parents, I checked in immediately. The speed was very fast. When I stepped into the hotel room, I was instantly attracted by its elegant decoration. The spacious and bright windows and soft and warm lights, every detail showed quality and the neat bed was as soft as a cloud, making people forget the fatigue of the journey when they lie down. The restaurant environment is good, and the food is rich and varied. The only regret is that the buffet dinner is closed on Sunday. The children's playground is good and our baby had a lot of fun.
