Hotels near EITIE, Beijing

First of all, the hotel's location is very good, and it is relatively convenient to various attractions. The hotel also provided very good services, making my travel very convenient. There are also many high-end and distinctive restaurants and shopping malls around the hotel. It is great to admire the high-rise buildings and feel the city atmosphere. This trip to Beijing was very pleasant. I will choose to stay in this hotel if I have the opportunity.

The location of Park Plaza is excellent, just one minute walk to the nearest subway station (Dengshikou station Exit C). Walking to different attractions such as Forbidden City and Wangfujing shopping areas is also easy. The room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel service is good and the breakfast buffet has sufficient variety with both western and Asian cuisines. Something to note is that we found the room to be rather warm on return from a day out. The air-con was set at 27 degC couldn’t be varied. The outside temperature during our stay was between 5 degC at night and 20 degC in daytime. The hotel management informed us that it was government regulation to save energy. To assist, the management provided us a large room fan. That and opening the side windows helped tremendously to lower the temperature. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and highly recommend it.

The building is beautiful, and the bedrooms are very comfortable. By and large we slept very well. However, there are annoying, ”Ryanair-like” little scams that do not make you feel in a five-stars hotel. We were charged an extra 30 RMB for no reason for the room, an extra 20 RMB for peanuts that we did not order at the bar, 60 RMB for a bottle of water in the room, etc. We were also disturbed unnecessarily at 10 pm in our room (first by a phone call, then by an employee who forced us to answer the phone call), apparently because one employee had refunded us by mistake. I later suggested the manager make a gesture in return, and to this day I'm still waiting.

The room was okay. We booked a room with no windows. When we arrived at the hotel, we saw that we were taking our children and they upgraded us to a room with small windows. I would like to say thank you. After all, Huangcheng is a place where land is at a premium and traffic is still a problem. It’s very convenient. APM and department stores are just outside the door... The food, drinks and luxury jewelry shopping are all great👍👍👍

Great location, nestled on a Hutong street behind the church. Many modern restaurants, bars and local eateries nearby. Cute hotel, had a nice soundproof room with balcony and bathtub. Only complaint was strict registration of visitors, had one friend(resident of Beijing) meet me in the lobby and was asked to register said friend with passport- probably due to enhanced Covid restrictions. Overall, service was good and would highly recommend.

The hotel's only good trait is that it's close to the forbidden city and Wangfuijing shopping district. We were checked into a totally different room than we booked. It was like getting cat fished by a hotel. The hotel is quite stingy with its amenities. Asked for bottled water at the reception, they said they're only selling. I asked them if I could get some free bottled water, but was told they'll send it to my room. I wasn't going back to my room for the bottled water to come as I was leaving. My friend asked for water from her room, they didn't agree to send some right away, but instead continued to ask if there wasn't any in her room. We were mostly unsatisfied with our stay as the room did not match at all with the pictures on the Trip app. The breakfast buffet wasn't that good, it didn't live up to its expensive cost. And the concierge basically scammed us of RMB 183 for a taxi ride to the airport from the hotel, we could see that it only amounted to RMB 65-70 to the airport from the cab's meter. It was also my friend's birthday, so I asked if the hotel offers any complimentary cakes and asked them to bring it at 6pm. They said okay, but nothing arrived at 6pm. So I called them again and they transferred me to 4 different people until someone finally understood basic English and told me that I should've asked for the cake earlier, which I did right after we checked in. The hotel's staff does not do well with communicating internally. Somehow I expected good service as it was a Novotel hotel, but was left highly disappointed.

Overall, my stay there was good. Both the check-in and check-out went smoothly. The breakfast is delicious. The location of the hotel is good, but the streets around it are narrow (since it is located in a hutong), so if you’re carrying heavy luggage and choose to go there by subway, I recommend that you get out at Jinyu Hutong station (line 8), this way you’ll be able to walk on the Wangfujing St., which is a large pedestrian street. The staff were not bad, but I think they could/should be more proactive. For example, they could tell the guests when and where the breakfast is served. As far as I saw, the hotel has only one elevator, so going for breakfast may take some time.

Here is one of my favorite hotels of my beijing trip!! The location is the best of the best. It’s super close to the subway. Across the street is a shopping center with tons of mall. And you can also walk to the Forbidden city easily. And what i love the most is the hotel staff. They’re super nice and helpful. They tried their best to help me out!! And here is the only hotel that have staff that can speak English. I’m so impressed with this hotel so far

Everything in regards to our stay at the Grand Hyatt was 6* except for the WiFi which wasn't of international standards. Location was spot on a central network linked to the mall with major big brands Which is linked to the 1st class train system. It's also 30mins walk to the Forbidden city. And the gym 🏋️♀️ and Pool and Spa was simply immaculate and luxurious first class with a heated pool oasis. Wished I could have spent more time enjoying the facilities. And what complimented well to the global luxurious brand was it's staff members! I have to call out the exceptional 2 departments Conceige and Housekeeping which was truly above and beyond!!! Daniel -assisted with restaurant bookings and forbidden City tickets reservations. And when he was off duty he still wechat me to suggest how to maximise the use of our tickets and best way to maximise time to visit Tianamen Square too and tips too on best way all this while he was off duty! Such dedication!!! Another staff whom I like to recognise is Cecila also from Conceige. When asked for directions on day 1, she didn't just verbalise, she left her station and ushered us all the way outside and showed us the right way around to our breakfast destination. On day 2, which is also check out day, she realised its J birthday and made arrangments for not 1 but 2 bakes so that our dearest friends could enjoy together too. She also kept in touch on wechat to organise all our logistical arrangments several times. Each time with a 😃 smile. Outstanding! Housekeeping lady for rooms 1221 and 1220 was simple though and detailed and went above and beyond too. So much personal touch to all that she did which most would never bother! Good job!! And best of all, she didn't expect anything in return. Absolutely admirable! Unsung hero! Check in staff Allan was pleasant and swift with our late check in and made our final day breakfast logistics seamless. Thank you and thanks for responding efficiently on wechat too. Con- WiFi sucks badly.....surprised that a 5* global brand couldn't keep u to. Chengdu 4* service Residence. So frustrating for global travellers like ourselves. Hope the next time we stay here sky guo would have fixed this feedback! Alongside with ensuring that luke warm pre made coffee will not be served. Absolutely charming sales director
