"Chrysalis Inn and Spa is exactly what one envisions as the perfect experience in every way.  We had the Full Bay water view room with fireplace and extra large window seat which really added to the ambiance.  The bathroom slide away wall offered a water view even from the bathtub.  Keenan’s on the Pier restaurant within the Inn was so convenient for room service with excellent menu.  Walking distance to cute village of Fairhaven was fun for shopping and exercise as well as the boardwalk over the water out front of Inn.  We’ll return again and again. "

"So we had low expectations due to the price. At checkin we noticed a strong cigarette odor but that was expected. The hallways and elevator all smelled pretty bad but the room smelled fine. There were boot prints on the wall by the window and some kind of dark stain on the curtain. The fridge had yellow liquid dried all over it. When I check for bedbugs I noticed many stains and cuts in the mattress itself as if it had been slashed with a knife or something. The sheets and pillows were dirty but we had some sleeping bags and pillows in our car that we used on top of the fully made bed so we didn't need to touch the linens while we slept."
